A favorite vacation spot. We love staying at the Dolphin. It is family friendly, affordable, clean with helpful and courteous staff. The location is perfect.

We really like it here. Its small, only three floors so the hotel doesnt block the Sun early in the day like the giant complexes do. Theres plenty of pool loungers, and tables with umbrellas, you never have to rush out at 6am to claim a spot. There are pool toys for the kids. All units have a full kitchen. The pool & hot tub are 24 hours! Which I absolutely love. The pool is also sparkling clean. I saw the maintenance man out there every morning making sure the patio, pool, and hot tub were at 100%. He is a huge assist. We will definitely choose this place again.

Room was a good size. I really liked the dividing wall if you had someone on the pull out couch. Great view. Beach front. 24/7 pool and hottub was awesome. A lot of amenities the hotel offers to it’s guests. Will visit again!

Its ia a beautiful place. The room are very clean and supplied. Inside and out are kept clean. Everyone here is very kind, friendly, professional, courtesy, makes sure we were happy and satisfied. This is a quiet and relaxing location, just right for a nice family vacation.

This was our first time visiting this hotel and it was an amazing experience. We went during the week of July 4th, but that didnt impede our stay. The beach is right outside the gate and had three turtles nests!The beach itself was spotless. Youre able to drive on the beach, so setup for the day is easy. The ocean was crystal clear during our stay.The pool deck was cleaned every morning and came with loads of games. Theres a massive pavilion where you can cook out on one of their many grills. There is plenty of seating and the pool, sauna, and hot tub were well maintained. The pool deck was open 24/7, weather permitting, but once the sun went down it cleared out so noise wasnt an issue.The rooms were spacious and modern. Everything was clean and well maintained. All of the studios have a gorgeous view of the ocean with their own patios.The hotel is a quick walk away from the pier, which has a fantastic restaurant and is close by many of the local attractions and shops. Putt-putt is less than a five minute walk away as are many gift shops.I would love to stay here again!

Our family has been coming here one week once a year for twenty weeks. Great community atmosphere & upkept well.

The condos are dated but nice. The staff is very friendly. The condos are well equipped and have great views of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable and I would definitely stay again. My only problem was with the other renters. Even though there is a sign and its in the paperwork they give you that you can not save pool loungers by putting your stuff in them a lot were. Every morning Id go down around 8-9am and all the chairs would have peoples stuff in them but there would only be 2-5 people out there. Then if you or someone else moved their stuff when they finally did come to the pool deck they would get really mad and start arguing so it just wasnt worth it. Most days I couldnt sit in a pool lounger at all because of this. One day another lady had had enough and took one for me which I appreciated but she then had to deal with the lady that saved the chair even though she came yelled at her took her chair back then left again for 2 more hrs while having someone watch her seat but not sit in it.

Very friendly and accomidating staff. Nicely updated rooms. Very spacious for studio accommodations. The only thing I would suggest are exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Otherwise a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Good location right on the beach. Room was clean and cozy. Beautiful view. However to our surprise starting right at 5am daily their were people on the deck saving chairs and tables for friends or family. The deck was taken over along with the pool and hot tub. At points it was uncomfortable to even be on the balcony to just listen to the ocean or soak up some sun. This didn’t end with the same people until well after 12 am. Management should pay closer attention to the activities that occur to make sure every guest feels welcome and comfortable.

The location is perfect. Really beautiful ocean view from our room. The check in staff was kind and helpful. The pool and pool area are really nice: games like shuffle board and giant Connect 4, sauna, hot tub, grills and plenty of places to sit. We stayed in a studio, full kitchen was small but had everything you need and was useful. It is a bit dated but who cares when theres a gorgeous beach in view.

The Dolphin is a wonderful place to stay. The service and maintenance staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The rooms are a little on the small side if you have a family (i.e. more than just a couple traveling together), but lets be honest, you dont come to the beach for the nice rooms. The pool, hot tub, and rec area are all clean and well maintained. The salt water versus chlorine is a nice touch too. Would definitely recommend a stay, just know what you are signing up for if traveling with kids (the rooms are mostly hotel style).

Older, smaller resort with condo-style apartments with small but complete galley kitchens & charming decor. Very clean, freshly painted, nice pool, balconies. We will be back!!

We had studio apt..small but nice & all rooms overlook ocean but only 3 floors so if you love looking up & out with privacy get upper which we love ..we were treated very nice !! Older place but nice ..bed was comphy ! They only offer gueen beds.Lots if delivery from restaurants or drive to close great restaurants !!

This little resort is great. Yes, its older so may not have the newness of fancier hotels, but its well cared for. The location is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. Its very family friendly as well. So, if you are looking for an overall experience rather than a fancy room, then this is the place for you. Note, our rooms had full kitchens which made our stay easier.

Nice quiet place with oceanfront balconies. Efficiencies are spacious with almost full kitchen. Clean and recently renovated from hurricane damage, great comfortable interiors. These are vacation resort villas, not hotel/motel accommodations. Our favorite, so far, among all the Bluegreen resorts.

Older development but very good place to spect a few days. We like it a lot.

Been here all my life. Nice place to go to the beach. Huge pavilion. Great out door area. Nothing unpleasant has happened while we were here. They have a nice hang area you have to reserve a spot. If you are a fitness freak they have the best exercise room! If you decide to come here I wish you the best of luck! HAVE A GREAT TIME! :)

Party of 10 only took 20 mins to seat even when very busy. Great service and little wait time for appetizers and food. It tasted amazing !

The Dolphin Beach Club may not appear to be the nicest place as you approach it from the front, but the resort is actually quite decent. The rooms are very clean, the pool/hot tub area is nice and the location is great! The main reasons for not giving it 5 stars include the constant slamming of doors (the doors just dont close gently) and the fairly thin walls...I suppose these are minor issues overall.

The location of the Dolphin Beach Club was great the ocean was amazing. The rooms were a little dated but clean. Customer service was real good. If staying there make sure you stay and an ocean view room.

Friendly staff. Entire building was old and crumbly. Rooms were generous in their size yet everything was so old and cheap that it feels awful being there. Great location, musty odors, clean surroundings.

First time visiting Daytona Beach Shores. Great weather this time of year. Beaches are in pretty good shape even with the storms that they have had the past couple of years.When youve had enough time at the beach there are plenty of restaurants in the area, some within walking distance.

Best I can say is great location. Should really figure out something better for after hour check-ins. The flyer girl they kicked off property was of more help the 1st night than the Hotel itself.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about my stay here! Location and the ocean view is perfect. Staff was super helpful each time I reached out. Will definitely be back!!

Been coming here for 34 years. Love the quaintness of just 3 floors. Not as crowded that way the staff is wonderful. Always look forward to coming back and spending time on my favorite beach!

Great beachfront location! Walk the beach for miles! Walking distance to everything you need or want. Clean, organized, helpful staff. Pool patio has toys, comfy tables and chairs, and top-notch grills. Always a pleasure to visit and we will be back!

Overall the place is okay. Everything seems dated but it clean. The pool area is nice because they have places to barbecue and play games. The rooms look like they have done some updating but still seem dated. Overall the rooms are clean but not nicely done.

Still just an OK place. It appears BG is taking over ownership so comming out of receivership updating and improvements should start taking place. They need to clean better. Mold around the tub (which we cleaned up) and by the AC unit. Bathroom floors have never seen a scrubber; other guest said the same. Still, the views are worth the aggravation.

We have stayed here the last two years. Its not fancy but it has character that some of the fancier places lack. Units are facing beach and have kitchenettes in them. I think they are all studios as well with a queen bed and a pullout couch. The pool area and grounds are clean and kept up nicely and the staff has been,great when there was a problem.

Clean facility, Friendly staff. Appreciated all the staff...they were fabulous and thoughtful. The timehare owners are like family with each other and are friendly to visitors. Was disappointed room had only one queen size bed. Had pull out queen size couch but was not comfortable. Limited parking. Allowed one vehicle. Could keep a second car on parking lot ONLY if there was room. If facility was full you would have to move that 2nd vehicle somewhere else. No one could tell me where else that vehicle would have to be parked at!

We have spent time here over the last20 years. We love to spend time on the beach with out the feeling of being at a big time resort. Pool is nice and back area facing beach is comfortable.

My wife who is now 30 and has been coming here since she was in her mothers belly. I have had the privilege now to attend this amazing place and I cant stress enough that the staff are top notch and its always an incredible time. They remember my name every year and always go above and beyond. Rooms are small but really who wants to be in the room! I love the charm of this place and will be coming back for years to come. Love, love, love this resort.

Our room was very clean and fairly up to date. We had an issue with the owner advertising our room as ocean view (which it was not), and the pictures on Home Away were not what we ended up renting. The lady at the front desk (Kathy) was very helpful and courteous. Ask questions and verify what youre getting before you pay.

This is our 2nd year at Dolphin Beach Dolphin Beach Club on Daytona Shores Florida...it is a great place to stay. The rooms are kept up, the pool is kept up, and it seems that the employees always keep the pool side area and grills clean.

Give it a chance! Kinda hokey little resort, very unimpressive street-side: a bit dated, tucked between two mega-resorts, dwarfed by neighbors being only 3 stories tall. But clean, and well-supplied kitchen. We had a studio... Bigger than some one bedrooms I have been in! Ocean view and little balcony very nice. Big pool, nice hottub, staff was nice and friendly. Overall liked it more than Id expected to on first impression.

A little dated but comfortable and clean right on the beautiful beach!

We stayed a week at DBC in April and loved our time there! Its a smaller place but the staff was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our door and the maintenance guy was there within a minute and fixed the problem. We stayed in a studio and walked right out to the pool deck, had a great view of the ocean from our room. We were within walking distance to a restaurant on a pier, an icecream stand, a Starbucks, a liquor store and grocery store. The room was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cable with HBO and Showtime, they had DVDs you borrow. My 4 year old loved the games on the deck.... shuffle board, a giant Connect Four and plenty of pool toys. The only suggestion that I would have is the need more hooks in the bathroom...but thats not enough to make me not go back. The location was great, the staff was great!! We will visit again!
