Fantastic service and amenities. Gorgeous ocean view and right there on the beach. And close to many great restaurants and stores. Me and my family enjoyed our stay tremendously. I really look forward to visiting again.

Found Perrys on my honeymoon over 38 years ago and have continued to return to Perrys every chance I get. Spent many vacations here when my kids were growing up and am now able to bring my grand children. Our favorite place to stay. Love it and hope to keep turning for many years to come.

I forgot the woman’s name that checked me in. She was very friendly even allowed us to check in a little early. I mean, all the staff, the woman who came by to clean, the maintainer workers all friendly !! My room, I didn’t expect it to be so nice, opened up right to the indoor pool . We are definitely staying here again. The only thing. No coffee with the donuts. But who even cares when everything else was great including the people . Plenty of places to get food. Wait, get this!! The room has a stove equipped with dishes and utensils

I was worried after some of the reviews, but I was plesently surprised.. It was very nice, yeah its older and somewhat run down.. But they are doing a fabulous job moving forward with renovations. I stayed in the old part and it was fine. Clean, fabulous views and friendly customer service. For a vacation on a budget I know youll be pleased. IHOP and Winn Dixie just across the the street and a restaurant on site (limited hours)Indoor hot tub and pool were clean and perfect.. Out door pools were crystal clear.Ill definitely be going back!

Accommodations were nice, staff was very friendly, homemade doughnuts if you wanted, thankful to have a kitchen to cook our own food. Beautiful ocean front balcony view to watch the ocean, saw dolphins a couple of days and excitedly watched a lightning storm from our room! You never know what treasure you will see!

Old but well kept place. The views of the beach are what you always wanted. Front desk was nice and cordial and room service was quick and perfect.The indoor pool is a great addition.I cant give the a 5 stars because their king beds and pillows are terrible. Hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. We went with another couple and they had the exact same complain.. We did not have 1 good night out of 3.I would recommend this place but make sure to at least bring your own pillows

We were passing through and found this gem! A suite with 2 king size beds, living room, kitchenette, a large dining table, and a balcony that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The kitchenette has everything you need... a stove, microwave, regular size refrigerator, and all utensils to cook, eat, and drink with. We will definitely be back one day. Emily at the front desk was extremely pleasant and the room was clean.

We arrived early for check in at 4 & were rudely told that we were too early to get a room. We understood..we really just wanted the parking pass & access to beach. They told us they would call when the room was available. We had friends fly in from TX. Hours after we 1st arrived at Perrys our friends were able to check into 2 rooms and let us know (we were still at beach). Maybe they got busy and just didnt call? We went to front desk and again more attitude from Emily. She called about an hour later at 3pm to shout that our room was ready & hung up. SMH. She only handed me the keys when I went bk to front desk. Just NOT nice... unsure if it was a bad shift or is it always like this.The room is nice, had everything from refrigerator, kitchen sink area with dishes & table with 4 chairs. The view was great, they put us on floor #2. They offer good doughnuts in the morning, but NO coffee! Strange. There is a coffee maker in the room.The beach area is AWESOME! I LOVE Daytona beaches!!! There are 3 pools...I dont really use a pool at the beach much, but the areas looked nice & clean. 3 stars for all the good things mentioned...had front staff just been decent.. wouldve been an easy 5 star review.

I took my son and his wife and they both loved it so much didn’t want to leave can’t wait to go back again . The staff was amazing and rooms was very clean.

Nice spot they have an indoor pool we didnt get the chance to enjoy.The bartender was great they had a bar on the beach. The room we had has a jacuzzi tub in it kind of small but was nice only a microwave in the room we also had an ocean view my kids room was pretty cool they had the ocean view kids suite with my parents so we could enjoy our anniversary that room cost less than our room and had a stove top fridge etc if we go again we would book the kids suite that room was worth the money the building is kind of old the 6th floor had a leak in the roof by the elevator cover your cup if your bringing drink up to the room or ice. The 2nd floor was nicer an looked a little newer. The ocean views were nice.

Beautiful beach & good hotel. Clean and nice staff. Could have had the sofa sheets in the room for us and a shower curtain in room ready instead of us calling and asking for someone to bring. The heated pool they had inside atrium..was no where near heated. It was freezing cold.

I love this place! Me and my wife started coming here as our get away 22 years ago in our high school years and we still come here. Perrys is our home away from home. Indoor pool with Jacuzzi,Beach Side Tiki Bar,Outdoor pools and great views. Rooms are being remodled as we speak and love the new look! Only down fall is..I wish they had more Security or a way to stop or catch people sneaking other people in. It does get a little full on Saturday nights and you as a paying guest cant really enjoy the indoor pool/jacuzzi due to over crowding. We watched a couple sneak in 10-12 people right through the front door as they parked across the street....anyways. thanks for the many years of memories and we will be back for more!

I have to say i just love the view. The room is big and the kitchen sufficient. Did i mention the view. No where is perfect. But i spent 3 quiet nights here. Just what I need and just what I got.

DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!! Stayed here on Friday night. Showed up very late and was promised, since I made the reservation at 2am, that I would get $30 off that night and still have yet to see that I am calling management tomorrow. We got a room in the garden building by the pool. The floor was sticky by the fridge and near the bathroom, there was a gross stain on the wall in the bathroom, the shower would flood the whole bathroom when used that we had to put two towels down to use it. The noise from the people in the pool was awful and echoed. The walls are obviously paper thin. I called and spoke to management who was very rude wouldnt even let me really mention everything wrong with the room kept getting interrupted. Ended up getting a refund for Saturday and Sunday night, because we were supposed to stay all weekend. But I will be calling tomorrow about the $30 off. They honestly lost good customers because we frequent hotels when I get paid.

I’ve been staying at this hotel a couple of times before and it’s a really good hotel. The hotel is in a pretty good condition for being there for more than 75 years!!! Hotel rooms are pretty clean. Service here is a little moody. I get how where in a pandemic but I wish they still had there activities here like tie dye, bingo, and ice cream but, there’s still the beach, and other stuff to do. Overall it’s a really good hotel.

Have been coming to Perrys since the 60s. Great family hotel with lots of area in back for relaxing without being forced to sit around the pool. Grills available for cooking, plenty of outdoor tables, tiki bar, donuts and coffee every morning, and a few short steps from the ocean. Love this hotel, it is older but comfortable, family friendly and not in the least pretentious. Some people might want a high rise modern place, but this place is a relaxing slice of old Florida.

I had stayed here probably 16 years ago and remembered liking it. It had a retro beach resort vibe and was nice and clean. Theyve not changed that. But they have updated and added more property. Our room was newly remodeled and was really nice and spacious. The building was still being remodeled and will be so cool when everything is finished. The only complaint I had was the ice machines were very rusty and dirty, and the older lady at the front desk seemed unhappy wasnt very friendly. I still recommend it. And will come back.

Overall our stay was fine...The staff is pretty rude....the reception staff was rude on the phone and in person...the housekeepers were pretty nice though. The South tower, where we stayed, is old, dated, dirty, and stinks. Our air conditioner on our balcony leaked so bad there was a moldy puddle covering most of the balcony...the balcony was the only reason I rented the room. There is NOT enough parking for the rooms NEAR the rooms. You have to park in a parking garage across the property from the south tower or across the street from the resort....Overall our stay was fine but I will pick a different place to stay for our next beach trip

Perrys Ocean Edge Resort is in a good location at the beachfront. And thats an only a positive comment about it.Customer service was rather cold only letting us know about penalties that would be charged if we break the rules and policies.Building looks outdated all aroundRoom we stayed at wasnt clean, dust was on every surface, windows and mirrors were not cleaned for a while.Furniture is really basic and beds were squeaky.Doors were pure dirty with kick marks and scratches.You would find a better decor in you local convenience store.Would not recommend this place at all and would advise to avoid it.

Had a nice extended weekend at this wonderful low key unpretentious resort. I stayed in a very nice newly renovated oceanfront efficiency with a huge balcony. My room was very large, clean and had a full kitchen with all necessary utensils. Grocery and liquor store were right across the street. Staff here were very nice and attentive. Would have given 5 stars but the elevator was a bit scary and the stairs had some mold issues.

The view was amazing. The room itself was updated. Advertised as having a kitchenette however did not have any pans or baking sheets to use on the stovetop or oven. The other kitchen items were limited or broken. Throughout the week they cleaned less and less by day three they weren’t even making the bed or cleaning the bathroom. I had called ahead and they said all pools were open - one outside pool was closed and the indoor pool was open but under construction and very loud during the day. The outside of the property is run down and dirty. The lounge chairs and tables need a good cleaning. I had never stayed at a property where they didn’t hose down outside furniture and pick up garbage at least in early morning or night. The property could be very nice if it was just cleaned better and little tender care.

Really liked staying here. Friendly staff and nice comfortable room, bed, and pillow. Right on the ocean and several pools including a heated one inside. Breakfast was homemade delicious donuts with juice, coffee, etc. A great place to be on the ocean. Good price too!

Bartenders were great. Masks not mandatory. Great place to quench your thirst after riding down the beach.

Pictures of rooms are very deceptive, but the oceanfront view was nice. The bed kept me up for 2 days on our booked stay as they were sooo hard and uncomfortable. Lamp was broken upon arrival as it flickered and made noises which had to be unplugged because that was annoying and probably unsafe.

People are awesome. Place is nice. Eady to get to. Next time I would get a full kitchen. Kitchenette did not really fit my needs.

Loved it here...right on beach nice room and two pools which was great because it stormed and we could still swim inside!

The view was amazing , however the gates to get to the beach were close only 2 open there were like 6 entrance. The service was good. I will go again

The features offered are nice, a little outdated but everything works. The kitchenette seats 5 comfortably and offers full fridge, microwave, stove and oven along with a toaster. Pool was nice and offered a kiddie pool too, could have been cleaned a little more but its expected at the beach.

We like the indoor pool and spa. Was sad they werent able to offer the breakfast, and that the tiki bar was closed. Also there were no soda machines on site I didnt like that

Summer Sizzler catamaran regatta was a blast then the fun afterwards in the pools and Tiki bar was unforgettable. I will be bringing my friends and family here. Good times

The rooms need updating. And the outside grounds areas need keeping. Outside of the rooms coming in are dirty. I have been staying here for well over 15 years and this trip is leaving little to be desired. Although I can say they were very quick to fix our air conditioning. Thank you for that!!

When we first arrived we were met with a customer who was not happy with the place.She even told us to leave because of how filthy the place was.Our room wasnt ready so we decided to see for ourselves.For the five of us it was perfect. Super clean. Cozy. Great ocean view. Smelled clean and a neat little resort style property.Would consider staying again but its a little too far south due where our family lives that were in town to visit.Worth a stay.

Not that clean, was labor day weekend and the Hotel was packed, but the rooms were not that clean and the bed sheets and towels didnt smell fresh

Home away from home. Not fancy, but everything and more if youre looking for a family atmosphere. RIGHT ON THE OCEAN! Two outdoor pools, one indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, kiddie pool, shuffleboard, putting green, homemade doughnuts every morning, kitchenettes and full kitchens, charcoal grills, two computers, scheduled activities, tables with umbrellas and Grass!

Great place to get away and relax right on the beach has one indoor heated pool hot tub and two outdoor pools facing the ocean has a tiki bar and one of the pools is a tot pool for toddlers it is a huge place rooms were clean grounds work out they were clean but this place gets crowded

Great rooms, right on the ocean, great pool and my son loved the put put golf area! Only coffee and doughnuts for breakfast but there was a restaurant across the street. Loved that place and will hopefully be going back.

This place is a hidden gem! Could use a slight update but our room was clean and comfortable. 3 pools with one indoor-all were swimmable. Free donuts in the morning...although not a hot breakfast-the donuts were amazing! Parking was good and hassle-free most nights. Would stay here again

The beach and location are very good. The hotel is older and so its a little run down except for the recently refurbished rooms. Those were very nice.

Harrys is a very quiet nice hotel to stay at resort actually and its got two pools inside and I believe two pools outside

!!!!ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!They will not answer your phone calls and dont go in there if you dont look the part. I got told before even asking if I had a reservation not to park on their lot, then after dealing with a rude staff member and asking for the manager I dealt with a even ruder manager named Wanda. The worstexperience I have ever encountered and to top all of that when we finally got to the hotel room we found what you will see in these pictures. They then refused to clean or accommodate us with another room and said they would issue a refund which could take 5-10 business days but when I reserved they immediately took my money. So now 19.5 hours away from home, out 500 dollars and no hotel room in Daytona with my 3 year old son. The hotel did not care nor were they even able to accommodate us with a proper hotel room SO WHY THEY EVEN HAD OPEN AVAILABILITY POSTED. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! IMAGES ARE OUTDATED OF HOTEL. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT IS PICTURED.

I have been going to Perrys Ocean Edge since I was 8 yrs old! Every year for summer vacation for 2 weeks! The childhood memories are some of the best ones I have were at Perrys!! Now I live about 10 minutes from Perrys! Every so often my husband and I will get a room in the original tower and enjoy a weekend in the original indoor garden swimming pool and the tower. When I used to go they didnt have the hotel to the left of the resort. Just the tower behind the office and the rooms around the indoor pool...that was Perrys and it was and still is absolutely beautiful! The rooms have definitely been updated but thankfully many things have remained the same which is why I continue to return! My parents who have been married 54 yrs this coming Sept had their honeymoon at Perrys Ocean Edge! Theyre now 89 and 76 and they too both still love Perrys! My children who are now grown have some vacation memories at Perrys as well! Ive had friends come for visits stay there as well and have absolutely loved every second of their stay, they never wanted to leave! That is what Perrys does to you! You just never want to leave and once you do you cant wait until youre able to return!Its worth the stay and by far the best Hotel/Resort in the Daytona Beach area!First photo is the garden indoor pool this was part of the original Perrys...2nd photo is the original tower and the garden indoor pool are from the ocean view..last photo is the street view of Perrys lobby and the original tower....these are where all my fond memories are

Holiday done right. Conveniently located with anything you might need in walking distance. Tiki bar nestled between their immaculate outdoor pools and huge indoor pool and hot tub offer much needed shade on summer days.

Good family atmosphere and staff. Pool and grounds are clean an kept up. Rooms are clean but they are do for some updating. Overall stay was enjoyable.

Beautiful ocean view right out the back. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Pools. Hot tub. This is a great place to come stay to see the ocean and/or the state of Florida in general. Only complaints are that they are remodeling/repairing the place right now, it was slow to get into our room even though we had reservations, and that the outside areas are a bit dirty in places.

Room was dirty. Only two elevators and one was not working. No one wearing masks in crowed elevator. Things btoke in room.

Theres plenty of things to do around. Rooms are good not great but there is plenty to view. Beachview rooms are really good and clean. A bit dated but still really good. They have outdoor and indoor pools and hot tubs. Outdoor grills and more. The area clearly has plenty of restaurants and stores. Which are fairly close wether walking, driving, or in my case Ubering or Lyfting.

We had a huge kitchenette suite . Price was good. View was beautiful . BUT Im a clean freak and i own a cleaning business so I was dissatisfied with our room because it was DIRTY . Fingerprints on tv and microwave. Microwave dirty . Bathrooms barely cleaned and the blinds have NEVER been cleaned . Also the huge window in the room was dirty and had fingerprints on it so they need to hire people that actually know how to clean . Other than that the setup of hotel and the view was gorgeous!!! Will definitely be back but next time if Im paying almost 200 for one night in a suite I expect it to be very clean .

Room was filthy with bug parts on dishes, blinds broke, door nobs falling off. Prices have went up and service was -0 , very short, rude. Weve been going there for ever and last 2 times were completly awful! Never again.!!!

First time here. They are doing remodeling in some places. The outside isnt the prettiest but my room was very clean. I had 2 Queen beds, pull out couch and kitchenette all for $145 including taxes. Inside pool, outside pool and a gate to the beach that you cant beat. Definitely will be back.

Ehh, the rooms need to be updated. I paid too much for the outdated rooms. However, I do like the fact that they still offer the indoor & outdoor pools! Also, the front desk staff was very nice at check in! Always refreshing to have kind souls when staying somewhere.All in all it was an ok stay... Had it been better prices for it being outdated I would of given it probably 4 or 5 stars.

The ocean is beautiful. The resort pools are very nice and the staff is wonderful. Our room was clean and the maid was great, keeping us well supplied.The building was in need of repairs, but this is normal in a humid, salty environment.

Very nice place. 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool with a pretty good sized hot tub beside it. Lots of tables, chairs with umbrellas set up. Shuffle boards and easy to get to beach!

Location on the beach was nice. View from the room was very nice. Outdoor pool were nice. Supermarket within walking distance was excellent. Ongoing construction was a bummer. Large amount of children running around. Beware of their overflow parking lot. Was told to park across the street. Asked multiple times and multiple staff members to make sure where I needed to park. Received a call at 8am telling me that I need to move my vehicle or it would be towed. Construction, careless staff, bad parking, sandy rooms, questionable elevators, moldy smells, and children running all over the place are things to take into mind before booking a stay.

Horrible! We stayed one night and canceled our stay, the pool & hot tub were closed due to construction, now I understand construction needs to be done in fact a lot more needs done, but we booked it wanting to use those things, the bigger issues were dirt! The room was fairly nice but not cleaned nice, the rest of the place is a dirty rusty mess, pop machines that dont work all coverd in dirt & spider webs and the people at the front desk never asked why we canceled that shows they dont care..

Has to be the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. Not only was it dirty but we had no hot water. Never again!

Facility very clean, staff knowledgeable and friendly. Three pools on the premises two outside one inside. Laundry on-site, BBQ Pits and tons of loungers and outside picnic tables. Tiki bars open from 11 until last call and there is a free continental breakfast every morning. Putt putt golf and shuffleboard. Private access to the beach. Free parking for patrons though parking is very limited. Childrens activity everyday. Great place for families. Perrys will be our go to beach place in the future.

Right on the ocean! Beautiful views! We stayed in the south tower where you enter from the street side and you open the door to the balcony right above the beach. We had 2 different rooms because we stayed there on a Sunday night and come back to it again on a Thursday night because we enjoyed staying there on this trip. Rooms are large some with full kitchens and some with kitchenettes. 2 out door pools and one heated large indoor pool. Blue Bunny ice cream vending machine the kids loved. tables and chairs and charcoal grills beach side. Shower to wash the sand off as you come off the beach. Laundry mat there that was a life saver for me $1.50 for washer and dryer. They have a very reasonably priced little surf shop that you can get boggie boards, bathing suits (up to 3x), sun screen, cups, hats, glasses and lots of other good to have items. In the morning they have coffee and freshly made doughnuts.

Rooms recently renovated. Great view. Had a mini kitchen too. On the negative, the USB charger was a nice touch but didnt charge our phones. Bring a backup. And theres no door or even a curtain between parents and childrens suite. Minor, Minor details as the overall stay and room were wonderful. Staff pleasant and accommodating...coffee and donuts downstairs! Putting green! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Would recommend for a visit and would return. We were in a corner room.

This is our third year coming to Perrys. We always have a great time! The staff is attentive and friendly, and the rooms are clean! Great amenities!

When we walked in our hotelroom...-Both stoves were broken-TV was out-AC was broken so they had an extra working in the corner-Shelf in the fridge was broken-Dishes had food on the edges-Only 1 pool was working and the hot tub was under maintenance the whole week during a college spring break.-$100 security deposit per person in the room... Usually its $100 total at every other hotel.-3rd shift desk help was extremely rude when checking us in. I understand that we are 5 college kids.. we will get a bad reputation everywhere. But treating us like children saying when we pee off the balcony police will be called... My 1 star is because of the donuts.However.. the free donuts were good.We had a great time @Daytona. However, we will not be staying at the hotel again.

Starting to lose its character. Visitors from general public were seen all weekend using the pool and facility taking up space with their many children and other visitors. The general demographic on the weekend is poor.

Dont be deceived by the pictures of the outside of resort. The interior is in pathetic condition and needs serious repairs. They advertise as having free breakfast but only have donuts, coffee and juice. Not worth staying here thinking you would get 2.5 rating hotel.

Loved that it is kid friendly, there is a heated indoor pool so awesome weather its raining or to hot or to cold, you can still swim thats fun for all, the room sweets for kids are very cool they have there own little room with a TV for there cartoons, lol that is worth it all , mom an dad can chill an not have the kids in the same bed, they have a cool hang out spot with a ocean view window to, right now the breakfast is a donut bar?? If u like that its good hand made with any kind of topping.....

Stayed here this past weekend for mothers day and I have to say I was not impressed. Both sites I reserved at said breakfast included, but there was none, the pool indoor said it was heated but it was not. One room had ants, thats not too bad I understand mother nature. But the roll cart I purchased was awful it was cracked in the middle and my son slept awful. The guest service was the only pleasant thing I have to say about this place. Also because of COVID they discontinued their free doughnuts. Just another bummer. I cancelled another hotel to come here and we were not happy. The pool was over crowed and the hot tub was just as bad there was no social distancing there.

My family love it here.We go almost every year. The doughnuts are to die for and there are 3 pools and a beach. Each time we are there it brings our family closer together. Thank you Perrys.

My family stays here at least once a year for a week or so. This place is great and has 3 pools, 2 outside and 1 heated indoor with a large spa. Theres different room set ups and its fairly spread out, but easy to get around. Theres also an onsite gift shop, tiki bar and cafe. They serve coffee, juices, homemade doughnuts and a few other choices until 9 or 10am daily. Its also directly across from a grocery store, an IHOP and a convenience store. The rooms are large and clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here if youre traveling to this area.

The room we had was very clean, had easy access to the beach. Also the Donuts are out of this world.

Very nice place to stay while visiting the beach

Very dirty!!!!! Rooms are not what they advertise at all! They ran out of towels. There were dirty sheets on the bed. We were told we had a 1st floor show up and its a 3rd floor and the elevator is broken. They inside pool was shut down half of our trip. The last day we were there they finally opened the pool up ....and a nasty lady sat there clipping her toe nails into the water!!! Worst place I have stayed! I will never go back

The cottage was amazing and very comfy. I could see the ocean from the living room window and had easy access to the swimming pools and beach. Love to stay here each year! Dont forget to bring your own pots and pans if you are going to cook!
