We just spent 6 nights at Daytona Beach Regency. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. Pros: Great location, secure parking, beautiful, heated outdoor pool, nice sundeck, top notch staff. Cons: our room was on the 2nd floor with a view of dumpsters at the neighboring hotel and our own, one of our rooms smelled like cigarettes, the indoor pool was tiny and the indoor hot tub didnt work.

I had a great time. We were guests of a friend who was a member. Our room had a full kitchen, living room and the bedroom had a King Bed. They have a pool and direct access to the beach. Close to many different Restaurants, shopping and things to do.

I have been going here since I was a kid. It never disappoints. Great resort. The manager, Tracy, is one of the best managers i have spoke with while staying at a diamond resort property. Security, Julius, is always very helpful and always has a smile.

Is a very old hotel, The rooms and staff are fine, I’m just still don’t get the “resort” part, they charge for a fee just for a pool table and 1 1/2 pool? I’m still waiting for a resort. The only great thing is that you can access very easy to the beach. You can hear literally everything through the windows EVERYTHING (I was in 10th floor), there was no soap in my bathroom, the smell in the hall was discussing, I’ll not come back.

Awesome place . Great location. Rooms are so huge and family friendly. Everything you need is there. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely vacation again here

We got upgraded to a two bedroom facing the beach. It was beautiful. The room was able to accommodate my entire family and my aunts family. The 2 kitchens definitely a bonus with children and extended family. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Right on the beach and in the middle of the strip. Our 1 bedroom was plenty big enough. Could have slept an extra 5 people.Ce

Love this place. Always clean and everyone is friendly. Missed the activity center. Not sure if it was timing, or closed due to Covid. The pool slide needs some caulk, as my girls were cut sliding but they continued to slide.

This resort is amazing! Every time I visit Daytona Beach I stay at the Daytona Beach Regency. Walk right out the back door onto the beach. Pool with slide and tiki bar on site.

Dwellings were very clean and spacious bathrooms were a 10....staff was nice and friendly not overly attentive. Located directly on the beach. DIAMOND Resort Property I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable beds & rooms. Only downside is checkout is at 10am when checkin is at 4pm.

Great vacation spot! Right across from the beach, shopping, rides, restaurants, and entertainment. Clean, and the rooms were nice. Did find a giant cockroach crawling in the gym though...

Poor communication between staff & management. Was told by Tracie a manager that there’s no jacuzzi’s at this resort beings it had recently been remodeled then I was told by the General manager that there is. Which one is it do y’all have jacuzzi’s at this resort or not? Definitely won’t bother booking at this resort again.

20 years visiting. Helpful staff, great location, convenient to bandshell, shops and boardwalk. The waterslide is a special favorite for the kids.

Was good for a weekend get away. It was a hotel room with a small kitchen. No place for 2 people to sit and eat....1 chair and 1 very small table. Connecting door to unit next to us was very thin and could hear tv and,conversations. Could really use a little TLC

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The staff was nice. There was lots to do. My 10 and 13 year olds loved the slide at the pool! The beach was beautiful. Our room was comfortable and clean! There is construction going on next door, but it wasnt bad or super loud. We were close to the pier and the amusement park. Lots of shops nearby.

We inquired with security about a dent on our vehicle, security waited to last day to respond when I visited the office. After returning to my room and packing to leave. Security entered our room without knocking or announcing before entering. When my fiance inquired the reason he entered the room unannounced, he stated that he thought that the room was empty. This would not be possible if I had just left the security office ten minutes prior to his arrive. Please careful when staying at the resort and lock your doors!!!

Im a Wyndham owner and usually stay next door. However, despite the thin walls, not a bad spot to stay at. Close to everything and easy beach access.

Rooms are dated. Clean enough, but updates should be made. Staff very friendly. Pool area clean. I didn’t see a ramp to the beach for wheelchairs, carts, or strollers. Underground parking excellent.

Great condo and excellent staff. Location is perfect for us as it is within walking distance of the boardwalk and lots of activities. Only wish there were more rooms with a beach view.

Everything was perfect. Id put a missing star because the first of four nights was awake all night due to construction. But that isnt their fault. I just dont understand how construction can be that noisy at 2,3,4 in the morning. Definitely would come back.

Well, they are still charging resort fee even though they have NOTHING open! (Which they didn’t mention at check in) Said they would give military discount but when I went to go get it they said they cannot give me one. They had NO SUGAR for coffee in the whole hotel. $300 for a typical hotel stay NOT Happy!!

I wish that we had longer to stay here. Wonderful beachfront resort. Although our unit was next to construction site, our time actually in the unit was minimally affected. Large rooms, fully equipped kitchen and very friendly staff. We were sorry to leave. We will be back!

Re clean and the service is tops. Amenities include an outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Game room. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs. On the beach behind Daytona Regency there are plenty of opportunities to take spectacular photographs of birds, and sunrises. The beach itself is well maintained by the Regency. There are also games like Bingo and activities for children.

Visited 1x. Moved to 3 different rooms. 1st room view was a brick wall and had huge roaches/waterbugs. The friendly staff moved me to 2nd room: large roaches/ waterbugs There were roach hatchlings around the coffee maker. After me showing photos to manager and breaking down crying (just went through my father passing away and mother in intensive care. I went there trying to find a relaxing atmosphere. I didnt see the $100 deposit requirement after paying and booking my room until I arrived). I put the deposit on my credit card). I was moved to a 3rd room/condo that was breathtaking!!! The first thing I looked for, but couldnt find were bugs. The room was clean and updated. Nice comfortable bedroom. Great bathroom. Full kitchen with full sized refrigerator, modern glass top stove and dishwasher! The patio view was good (there was another building with parking lot across the way, but to the left was a great view of the ocean). The staff was not only apologetic, but also compensated me for my inconvenience. The food, staff and ocean sunrise was breathtaking!!!

Nice place but if you dont upgrade to an expensive room dont expect any kind of view other than the back of the neighboring property. Its also very noisy in the area between construction and street noise. The room I had was nice and clean. Had a great bed and good tv. The shower had good water pressure. Everything worked as it should.

As Owners we were disappointed in ourweekend guest treatment. We are regulars here and were staying 5 weeks.

Overall good, lives up to its 3 star rating, plus it has a great pool and Beach access so I gave it 4 stars. Reception and concierge staff were not good, but that is likely due to the person, not the management or ownership.My room has no table; first time for that in a timeshare or hotel. Paper is delivered early, and lobby has fresh coffee available.

I liked it. Great spot on the beach. Close to Bubba Gump. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Only issue I had was the walls seem to be pretty thin and the guest next door was loud and obnoxious. Didnt report it but I believe they would have done something. Otherwise, great stay.

Its a nice resort, very friendly staff and environment. However dont expect to have any peace and quiet at night sleeping. The rooms are poorly insulated which you can hear your neighbors talking even more disturbing if they have a loud voice. I kept waking up at 4am because of that. Which I dont blame the guest for having fun but the resort needs to be updated with better insulation.Also, the hallway and my room had a weird foul odor

I do not think I can say enough positives about this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the staff was great. Our young boys really liked the live music they played.The most comfortable beach - it was a swinging table which is awesome. thank you all. Billy Hayes

Honestly when you check in for some guest they want you to go to the 11th floor to Hear about their timeshares through diamond resorts they promise you a 5 to 7 day free vacation and a $50 gift card to the tiki bar which they did give us but the seven day vacation I had to pay $29 to activate it and it’s impossible to book a vacation so we spent half of our day listening to Their ordeal about the timeshares and then made us pay to activate the seven day! The rooms are nice But you never get an ocean front unless you’re one of the guests that are in their timeshare package so your view is looking at other buildings !! You can see the ocean if you look out the window but it’s not ocean Front ! I am so upset that we were Received regarding the seven night stay and then having to pay to activate it ridiculous !

Wonderful place beautiful beach. Dont stay here if you dont like motorcycles though. Its on the a1a. Has a tiki bar also. Loved it!

Very clean and updated hotel, staff was super friendly! Great location directly on the beach and a few blocks from many bars. Check out time at 10am was a little aggravating after a night of heavy drinking, lol. Overall it was a great stay! We will be back!

Not too bad. Fairly reasonable for the rooms but I dont know of they have upscale rooms that fit the price..... still a good place to stay if looking for beach front staying. It fills up quick in season and sometimes you are lucky to get these rooms even .

The service is excellent. They bring sheets, towels etc to your room. There is a tikibar which serves breakfast (5 $) and delicious drinks. There are activities a pool with a slide. It got a inside pool, game room and training center. There is even a VIP area (only available for members of Diamond. A timeshare Company.) there you get free food 4.00 PM and soda and snacks as much as you want. Check in and enjoy.

I dont understand this 3 star rating at this exclusive hidden treasure of Daytona!! Great facility and amneties. Perfect location near all thats happening in Daytona, minus the huge tower and fighting for parking. Near shopping, near the bars and near all the kiddy places your heart desires. Cant wait to come back in May for Rockville

An extremely beautiful hotel that offers Suites for families located in an amazing location. Everybody including the service staff were extremely friendly and kind. They always asked if we needed anything and I truly believe that they were being sincere. We have to our son with us and everyone treated him like he was royalty. From our suit being clean and organized to the pool overlooking the ocean it was an amazing stay. The only downside is not all of the rooms have a full Ocean View. Our sweet had a limited Ocean View but our main view was the building next to us and the dumpsters below. Which will end up being quite entertaining for my son as he got to see the trash man pick up the dumpsters every morning. Which was fine with us because he got to laugh and make friends with the trash guy. However if this had been a romantic getaway it would have been quite disappointing. We specifically requested an ocean view because Im a photographer. So beware if you are booking there is no way to guarantee that you were going to get an ocean view.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was extremely clean! The staff were very accommodating and courteous! We would definitely go back here again!

It is quiet, smaller than the other locations on the beach. Room size was big and kitchen well though. We did have to ask for a pan to cook. There were none. The coffee maker bottom recipient was thermos like. Kept the coffee hot longer. We were right on the beach. Very nice. Staff was very accommodating and ready to please. We will be back.

After flying halfway across the country and then driving two more hours from Orlando, we ended up waiting an extra hour and a half for our hotel room to be ready. We agreed to do a timeshare presentation for a VIP upgrade, but it was NOT a presentation at all. It was an all-out beating. Either buy or be beat on until you do. This no obligation presentation quickly devolved into an EXTREMELY HIGH PRESSURE sales meeting that felt like a hostage situation.

An older resort which is right on the beach. Avoid the efficiency rooms. Very cramped with seating for only one and no desk or table.

Decent place to stay. Nice friendly staff. Place could definitely use a face-lift.

Although I enjoy the more intimate feel to this smaller resort, one of the main reasons we booked here was for the pool slide that my son loves. We stayed here over a month ago and were told the slide would be fixed the following weekend. We returned last week and the slide was still inoperable. I just saw on FB that it is still not fixed according to some guests currently staying there.

This place was so horrible, the service was terrible. We checked in at 4pm which is check in time and they made us wait 20 minutes because our room wasnt ready! House cleaning came on the wrong day that we were told and showed up at 4pm! The staff didnt know anything, I would ask about the town, or activities at the resort. Construction going on 30 feet away, they had to cover cars in the parking lot in case of damage, got no sleep due to the noise or peace at the pool. The Tiki bar/restaurant was awful, hardly no food selections on the menu. We are Diamond Resort owners, we will NOT stay here again, we will save our points and PAY to stay else where in Daytona. Disappointing!!!!

Great place to stay in Daytona! Walking distance to many things. Hotel staff is very nice and accommodating! My husband and I arrived an hour early for check-in, but they were able to get us a room within 20 minutes. Terra at the front desk was awesome! She sent us a little gift and card, and upgraded us to VIP guests when she learned it was our honeymoon. We will definitely be back!

Perfect hotel rooms! We got the 2 room suite and its basically an apartment with both rooms connected with a door. The balcony is a great addition and seems like there is always a breeze for lounging around outside!

Went for one day! Very beautiful resort! Has a pool with a slide which is great for the kids. A bar outside which is great for the adults had a great time while I was here for the day with my cousin. The rooms are very nice!!! Very clean, nice staff. They will accommodate all your needs.

This place is nice right on the beach, cant go wrong grill for BBQ. Boardwalk just steps away lobe this place

Love this place. The staff are awesome.

The rooms were so clean and spacious, and you can see the ocean even from the side view. Although construction woke us up at 7 am(next door they are building a new hotel), we still enjoyed it and slept great. The outdoor pool was closed for reconstruction of the slide, but the outdoor seating and bar was nice. The game room was fun with board games available, air hockey and pool.

Right on the water ! Everything is close to you and the staff is awesome. The building is an older one but the rooms are still nice and comfortable.
