As an owner, I stay at Tropic Shores every year with my family and absolutely love the place, location and resort staff! The property is well kept and clean each year I come. The staff is incredibly friendly and they appear to have low employee turnover as their is familiar faces each year. You can’t beat the location right on the beach with a pool and hot tube which gives something for everyone. I highly recommend staying here in Daytona and even consider becoming an owner.

Great location! This facility is amazing. There are activities planned everyday! The staff does a great job of making it feel like home. The pool and hot tub are in great shape. All in all I would definitely be recommending this place as a great Daytona Beach Resort.

I’ve stayed here for years and the booking issues only increase. We checked in with our 5 kids for a week vacation. They even had 3 or 4 rooms to choose from. But, couple hours later we are told sorry we are booked. You and your family can share with your family staying here or go get another hotel. Wow! So much for anyone caring much less customer service! Wouldn’t recommend buying a tome share here, they just play games to book the rooms at retail prices!!

Great ocean side timeshare resort with pool and family size hot tub

Very neat place. Creative interactive surroundings and fun atmosphere. Only complaint comes from some of the holes. Some holes throw the ball into water with no guard or anything. And some holes send your ball flying after going down a slope. Just seems impractical

Staff very friendly, the weather was perfect, room very nice and had a great view of the ocean from 11th floor. Was there 1 week staff did not bother you if you needed something call and they would bring it up or you would return sheets and towels for clean ones . The second time I was there, would go again.

We have had a very enjoyable time. Its an older timeshare hotel. But there have been nice updates in each room.

I have owned there since 1992. Great staff and Tropic Shores is right on the beach.

All Condos are Oceanfront, Hot Tub, Swimming Pool. One and Two bedrooms available.

This is paradise. The units are all facing the beach with balconies, the room itself is like a mini apartment that comes with evrything you might need to stay for weeks if you so choose. The staff is very accommodating and the manager Casey is very approachable and eager to please. All in all I consider this resort to be a five star. Pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, corn hole, game room...everything you could want during your vacation.

Love this small family oriented resort ! Quiet safe ocean front resort ! As an owner I appreciate great job the maintenance staff does & helpfulness if staff! 95% of the time the rooms are really clean ! Just wish they would accept small pets for owners weeks!

Right on the beach will all oceanfront units, clean, well equipped, and in a quiet area makes for a nice getaway.

Property is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful but management activities director did not seem to have the proper attitude. When we informed her how much we enjoyed having a D.J. and loved the pool side movies in the past... her response was, this is how we do it now.We also noticed a few changes, like the fountain and pond in the lower level being removed and replaced with a table and chairs? A stand alone fountain with out a pond would have looked better. Palm trees with a hammock on the north end of the pool deck replaced with grass... not even some flowering plants. We also noticed that since the property went no smoking that smokers are going to the beach and with no ash trays provided near the stairs to the pool deck, many cigarette butts are being left on the beach in this area. All appear to be money saving changes but at what cost?

I am an owner and have been coming here for over 28 years. I always came in the Summer bc of the kids. This year were changing up to Jeep Beach, bc we drive a Hyper-Green Jeep and figuare why not.This place has always been a home away from home for a week stay. Its always clean, employees are always nice and helpful.Im looking forward to seeing all the Jeeps and drive on the Beach!Jeeps starting to get here!

It is a great place for a holiday - every unit has a front view of the beach. The pool area was kept clean daily and it was just steps from the beach through a gated area. Inside the condo, the kitchen is nicely equipped with full size stove with oven, fridge and dishwasher, so making a meal if one chooses to do so is not a chore. The staff are nice and helpful. Would come back there again.

This is an all inclusive timeshare Resort. I loved it, I did not have to pack a chair or a beach towel. And even a nice young man, but my umbrella in.

Really clean water, nice and clean shore, you can take your car at shore, good place for night hangout and play games

Tropic Shores stole my money. Ive been an owner for about 20 years. I paid this years $500 maintenance fee and then another $400 fee to upgrade the balconies. After making the payment, I learned they were shutting down from August 2019 to Feb 2020. I was also informed that the only opening s they had was first come first serve and it sucks to be you if you paid your money and no openings are available. In addition they refused to roll over my vacation week to next year. Bottom line is, I paid for my vacation and Tropic Shores is not providing me with a vacation week. They did offer a potential room with another vendor for an additional $189 fee. The vendor informed me there would not be any thing available on the coast. When I looked at the few available options they all sucked. Tropic Shores is unethical, they are thieves and I would not recommend them to anyone!

A friend has a timeshare here and my husband and I stayed with her family for the 4th of July. We had a wonderful time! The beachfront property is well maintained, they have super friendly, accommodating staff with recreational options each day like painting, yoga and ice cream socials. We are thinking of purchasing.

I loved the amenities such as beach towels, umbrellas for the beach and chairs. It just made the stay hassle free.

Handicap parking spots are a joke. There is no room for a van if it had a ramp and there are too many curbs near the handicap parking spots.The female that was working at the front desk on Tuesday afternoon, December 4, 2018 was rude and wouldn’t give a paper towel or similar to my husband for his mother who tripped on the curbs, hit her head on the concrete near the handicap parking spot and cut her hand open. Luckily she didn’t crack her head open, and Urgent Care said she was good and just bruised.The beds are uncomfortable and are stiff as a board. The new mattresses that they were putting in the rooms, I’m not sure how hard or soft they were, but hopefully softer than what was in our room. I woke up with back pain my entire stay.Please correct these problems. Due to the rudeness of the young adult female at the front desk, I wouldn’t stay here again and she doesn’t know if they have a heated pool or not. As an employee, that is something they should know.

We had a nice time here. The staff was nice also. My only complaint was the bed was not very firm. I had to sleep on the sofa instead. Great place with a wonderful beach and pool. Tge pool gets into the shade in the afternoon which makes it perfect for cooling off.

Awesome staff (mostly the older ones). Needs some upgrading and deep cleaned ventilation in some rooms. Not sure if it was a garbage disposal, but something smelled old in one room I was in. However, it is a great family place!! TSR is about to close down to fix these and other issues...so Im looking forward to see what they do to make it an even better place to vacation!

I have been staying at Tropic Shores for the last 4-5 years. My sister owns a time share here and we stay a full week out of every year. The first year was the best as the staff hauled your beach chairs & umbrella to the beach for you. Now you have to stop by the pool & pick up your own. They do still come down and drill a hole for you umbrella & they are good about checking in the afternoon to see if you need it moved. It seems the entire staff is new every year but I presume thats typical for a beach resort. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly, courteous & helpful. I love the Daytona beach area as opposed to the gulf coast. The sand is more compact & Ive never encountered icky seaweed in the ocean like I have on the gulf.

Ive been with Tropic Shores now for years. Always friendly staff they go above and beyond to help accommodate you. Always clean and property well maintained. Love the pool and the hot tub. Love that I dont have to worry about bringing beach chairs and towels. Beautiful view!I cant say anything bad about this place at all.

This place is privately run by the owners and their board. I was an executive for Marriott Hotels for 30 years and the staff here is head and shoulders above Marriott Hotel Standards. The housekeeping team does not miss anything. Rooms look brand new each time I stay. If you have a chance to stay here dont pass it up. Front Desk staff go above and beyond to take care of you!

Very pleasant stay. Three days of just relaxing by the beach. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and it was nice and quiet at nighttime. Just wish they would serve a continental breakfast on the weekends.

Ive been going to tropic shores since I was about 8 years old. My grandma has had a condo here for years and its just amazing. Everyone is always friendly, everything is clean. The pool and hot tub is always well attended to and they have activities and crafts for the kids all during the day. My family loves it here and we will be guests for years and years to come.

Will always and forever love it here. Every condo faces the ocean & the staff are like family. Never disappointed. A must go to.

Quaint small rooms. Clean. Some updates. Great views. Definitely for older active adults, ie bingo, puzzles and movie choices. No smoking on premesis really bugs me. I understand no smoking in the room, but on your balcony, just stupid. As part of RCI, I dont feel this is a 4 or 5 star resort.

We have been coming to tropic shores for over twenty years. We have never been more disappointed than this year. Some staff were friendly, but most were rude and seemed frustrated to have to help. There are so many rules in place that put a damper on the atmosphere. Not being able to go to the pool deck until 8:30am (strictly enforced), pool deck closes at 11, can’t have ammenities checked out after 8...Housekeeping needs a major overhaul as our rooms were not swept or moped once, and we had to call down to have our beds made, replace dish soap, get clean towels, and pick up used towels. The carts to carry your stuff to your room are so old and broken that Your stuff could fall off at any moment.Basically Tropic Shores needs a major rennovation as a whole. As of this moment, I will not be coming back next year. I would rather spend my time and money somewhere else.

Great resort, every apartment is ocean front. We visit every year.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They offer several nice amenities; bikes, chairs & umbrella, beach towels, free snow cones, and more! The kids also enjoyed several of the paid activities like making a Tie-Dye shirt, waffles, ice cream, etc.The one bedrooms are clean and adequate space for a family of four with young children. It offers a full kitchen with kitchenware.The building is located right on the beach.

We had bad weather the whole time we were there wish we had better weather other than that it was nice and they kept you busy with projects

Location was great, staff was always friendly and willing to help, sea turtle nested her eggs right in front of the resort and dolphins every morning. Everything was clean and they had constant events for guests to participate in. All rooms are ocean/beach facing It was a lovely time! I would stay again. Of anything that I wish was different..the parking lot was hard to park in and I wish their beach rentals had been available later than 5 pm.

Always a favorite since my introduction to it, many years ago.Not enough space to tell all the good stuffThe only.really bad thing about TS is thatat some point, you have to leave and come back home. Thats when the anticipationbegins to build for the next visit.

1 bedrooms have full size bed. Other than that great place right on ocean all rooms on the ocean. Exercise room with Universal Nautilus gym. Activities for adults and kids.

Great Resort!!! I have been here several times now. The staff is always as nice and friendly as can be. They host events through the week for the hotel guests such as karaoke night. The resort is clean. It is right on the beach. The resort has ammenities that the guests can take advantage of such as beach chairs and umbrellas. Its a really nice place to stay for your family beach vacation.
