Love this hotel!!! Price is good, location is perfect. Rooms need some updated repair but wont stop us from staying. Staff has been amazing every time we have stayed and over helpful with us. Parking spots are a little small but you never have to worry about getting one. The hotel has allot to offer and is always well kept!!!

Clean, friendly and beautiful.. Will stay again when ever we visit Daytona. Rooms are very big, spacious and have lots of amenities (fridge,mini kitchen,microwave) Rooms are a little outdated as far as the bathroom (tub looked overly used, toilet was low,) other then that it was perfect. Those are minor things to expect with an older hotel but nothing that should make you decide not to go because the overall experience was excellent. Tiki bar staff was nice and pricing was great for food and drinks!

It was average. Lots of wet spots on floor due to humidity so wear flip flops.Chairs were not cleaned, the mini ref was a little skewed towards the front(leaning) so had to be careful putting food in.One outlet did not work for coffee maker and had to use another outlet. (After we brought it down and it worked there then roomie tried another outlet and it worked)You have to ask for shampoo and coffee mix at front desk now. No more leaving them in room for you.The only reason it wasnt 1 star is because you can actually walk to the beach from here.

Most of the staff was great! Stayed a week and only heard our neighbors once. Being right on the beach is awesome too! Loved being able to have my morning coffee on the balcony with the sunrise listening to the waves.

The friendliness of the front desk staff and the location could make this a nice place if they would do something about the rooms. The place was very dirty, the tile floor was wet and sticky and you could tell housekeeping did very little to prepare for their next guest. I found a syringe in the night stand next to the bed, when you shower the bathroom floor fills with water, had to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink as the bathroom sink is still holding water from 2 days ago when my wife washed her hands. We will not come back here, the Hilton is only $10 more a night...

Actually loved the resort...didnt like the traffic at night. Seemed like a lot of people coming and going. For me, the balcony and view more than compensated for the noise! Had a lovely view of the beach. Next year will probably check out a suite with a kitchenette!

I dont often give out 5 stars, but wow. I mean WOW. Every room has an ocean view. The staff goes above and beyond what they need to do to make sure your stay is great. Clean rooms with mini kitchens. The price is way affordable. We will make this our go to hotel.

I was really dissapointed in the rooms appearance. The furniture was outdated. The rest of the hotel was great. They have great service and security. I probably would not stay there again.

Hotel was average to us. They were repairing some areas. One room had broken pipe so water was turned off at one point. Very noisy. Website shows mini golf assuming it is on property but there was none. Food and drinks at Oasis Tiki bar were great.

My family and i loved it here. We loved the balcony. We had 2 Queen beds one was soft the other was firm. But amazing experience!!! We loved the pool!!! And access to the beach was cool just down a few sets from the pool.. The price was not bad at all.. Definitely be coming back

Ok where do I start, we paid $160.00 for one night it was supposed to be a full beach view it partial the elevator is 4 by 8 and the room well Im just going to show the photos I took of our room the size of the shower my husband and I couldnt fit in together the kitchen is the size of a small closet and I look at all the reviews and everyone gave them a 10 and 5 stars but I can guarantee that is not a five-star place. The linen was clean its a place to sleep, some of the staff was friendly some wasnt but we enjoyed the beach.

Really wasn’t happy with the room. When I booked from the site it said ocean view. I got a partial view. The room had tile which was hard to keep dry and I almost fell. Wasn’t happy at all about the room.

First of all just know the staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. With that said the facility is just short of disrepair. The website was slightly misleading, with near clogged plumbing, terrible terrace placement containing lack luster views of anything but construction equipment and a few dumpsters. For being on prime real estate it was a prime disappointment. Left soon as i awoke that beautiful Sat. morning

We started our stay by making several trips up and down the stairs to the front desk for to room key issues. (We took the stairs the entire stay because the elevator took so much longer as it was SLOW and tiny.) We had to make a total of 4 trips to the front desk for to room key problems. The floor nod or room was covered in sand as we first went in. (I get its a beach hotel but they do have cleaning staff.)The shower looks like it used to have a sliding glass door then they shoved a curtain rod in after it broke. This hotel is RIGHT on the strip of A1A and every jacked up truck or motorcycle barreling by soundsnlike its IN your room. That and the drunk screaming in the hall made this a horrible stay.Will definitely be going elsewhere in the future.Note: The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with the room keys.

I had an obnoxious woman kicked out of the hotel who was heckling me and using threatening foul language from the balcony next to me and below me in the parking lot. She was heckling me about my car and then into the night she was yelling at me with words directed towards my family. I told the front desk that I was going to have her arrested and they called security and she was forced to go inside and be quiet. She was using curse words and threatening my family, for no reason while we were trying to sleep at 11pm.

The Fountain Beach Resort has been updated and is looking very nice, with a touch of beach living.

Dirty and old unfriendly front desk person in morning, would not even speak to me when I ask for atm he looked away and pointed. No coffee for coffee maker, no soap or shampoo for bathrooms, no instructions on how to use roku to operate tv, and they give you a coupon when you buy a drink and meal you get one free. The problem is the restaurant or tikki hut are not in operation so what is the coupon for? All for 122.00 one night off season. What a joke! What a dump!

We were lied to upon booking. They told us the had continental breakfast, Putt Putt golf, a restaurant, sliding glass doors on your rooms, work out facility etc. We get their and everything is shut down. The front desk staff was rude from the time of check in. I wouldnt recommend this place. We left after a day and a half. It wasnt worth wasting our money.

Would not recommend this place to anyone . it is falling apart needs lots of up keep and remodeling. Only thing that was good there is the tiki hut good food.

Nice place. everyone was friendly .our shower doors could of been little clean and the 4 plug by sink for kitchenette needs fix so you could use hot plate coffee and toaster at same time .but all in all nice place .would go back

The place is great & convenient 5 stars if you go through a private owner like we did but .4 stars to the actual hotel only because they dont include free breakfast..like some of the other places. The staff are nice & helpful as possible

The best part about the property are the price (for the area) and location. (Right on the beach) It’s an old property, and it’s pretty worn out. Front desk staff not especially friendly. Room was large and had a kitchenette. We could see the ocean from our balcony but not while in the room, as the balconies are on the sides of the building... not the beach side. Most disconcerting were the gunshots we heard INSIDE the hotel very early in the morning. Other guests were talking about it at breakfast, but staff denied knowing anything about it. Maybe it’s the hotel, or maybe the hotel is in a less safe area? If I ever go back to Daytona (doubtful) I’d spend the extra $ to stay somewhere a bit nicer.

This place is fabulous! Id read some bad reviews on this place, shame on you! The staff has been more than helpful, friendly and flexible. Rooms were clean,although, the bathroom was a bit small, but other than that, they were a big part of making this a wonderful vacation!

Pretty good but the hot tub is closed and there isnt any breakfast because of COVID.

I walked in here belligerent, with no mask on, and my underpants full of spaghetti. DONT ASK WHY, ITS MY PERSONAL CHOICE! Anyway I was very upset when the things I demanded were not given to me, like cmon I deserve to be pampered like a poodle even though Im a terrible person and nobody can stand to be around me for longer than five minutes. When I treat people like dogs, I expect them to bark back. I called down to the front desk at 3 am and asked them to bring me a new toaster because I had broken mine reheating cold deep dish pizza, and they didnt immediately come up with a new one, even though I was ready and waiting in my banana hammock with a box of Pinot greeez. Ruined my whole vacation. But it was comparatively cheap so youd think I had no right to complain right? Youd be wrong, Im basically a toddler with a credit card.

This experience was amazing also we got a complimentary champagne. staff was very friendly and the had alot of covid 19 signs for the public

Great selection of rooms. My room this time around was really pretty! My favorite thing about this location is that, I personally do not like to stay in the same hotels when I travel because I dont want to see the same set up everywhere I go... and each room in this hotel is that each room is decorated and themed differently so, depending on which room you get you will have a unique experience with each visit.

The Fountain Beach Resort was good for a short stay. The resort is dated and could use an update. The amenities included breakfast, but it begins at 7:30am which is late for persons who have to be at work for 8am. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk is awesome , and perfect location. Problems with our room when we got there but they were handled immediately. Only reason for the 3 stars is because housekeeping was lacking and one night we had non stop calls on room phone at 230 am and people knocking on our door at all hours.

The bathroom is small and the shower looks disgusting the floor are sticky and overall I just did not like it and it was kinda expensive

Pros: Beautiful view with balcony, clean and right on Daytona beach . They have a heated pool, hot tub, sauna. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast and other reasonable restaurants & shops close by and within walking distance of the boardwalk. Cons: The building is aging but in all fairness they were in process of remodeling part of the hotel. Rust in the bathtub, furniture in rough shape with peeling paint. The beds could use replacing as mine sagged and squeaked really bad. Still had a great time and would come back.

Fountain Beach Resort was on the beach, convenient and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do during our stay. The staff provided excellent service and answered every question we had about restaurants and entertainment in the immediate area. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Daytona Beach!!!

Morning costumer service shift sucks told me Bob never comes in when I asked to speak with Bob also was told I would have a poetical beach view when my family and I went up to the room we had a city view not at all the room we wanted also told me there was going to be breakfast there was not the guy at the front desk said he never told me that which that would been a lie and when i booked the room noone told me to bring my own shampoo and soap cause when i went up to our room there was none (by the way the evening guy did fix our room)

Shower In our room was dirty when we checked in and the room smelled musty. The only good thing was the view and the tiki bar. Would not recommend.

Good price great location but not the best in luxary

We did actually stay here but we rented a golf cart for the beach and it was awesome.

Wish our room #629 would not have been so close to the main strip (road) it got VERY loud at times with trucks and cars racing up and down.

Went here for spring break with my friends and it was perfect, especially for such low prices. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Great location right on the beach and the pool and tiki bar are convenient. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Been here many times. The staff is very helpful. The south side of the building gives you a beautiful view of the water and the city.

Enjoyed that they have buggy rentals, view was great, food & drinks at the bar was good. Front desk workers was cool. Cute building & decor. Looking forward to them getting fully renovated. Price was ok. Rooms are spacious BUT definitely needs new beds.

The location was great. It was by the boardwalk and the pool was right next to the beach. It was awesome. The rooms were okay. Nothing fancy but has everything needed and was clean. I would recommend staying there and would stay again.

My wife and i booked a one bedroom suite for 2 nights. When we checked in the blond lady at the desk took a copy of my ID and took our payment. On our 2nd night there, we received a phone call to our room at 8:30 at night from Christopher stating that they need a copy of my ID. I stated that the young lady took a picture of my ID when we checked in, what happened to that copy? He told me that I was lieing and didnt get a copy. I asked him to look at the cameras and he will see that a copy was made, but told me he didnt care if a copy was made he doesnt have it. I told him when I get a chance I would stop by so he could make another copy. Then at 11:00 p.m. we have Christopher knocking on our door screaming front desk. We are sleeping at 11:00. He woke us up. But didnt care about that! Then he proceeds to tell me he needs it now or hes kicking us out. Really? So after taking a copy, loosing it, he now wants me to hand my ID over to him to take down stairs to make a copy? I told him no that I didnt trust that, I already feel uneasy about the fact that someone has a copy of my ID with all my personal information. I cant trust you to keep a copy of an ID behind the desk, Im definitely not giving you my ID to run off with and do what ever. So he then said fine, Im refunding your money for tonight and kicking you out! Really, over an ID. He said yes you have 30 minutes to leave! So now at 11:30 from out of town, we have to try to find a room because they lost a copy of my ID. There mess up and we get thrown out! Not to mention they called the cops to have us escorted of the premises. No apology for waking us up, no apology for loosing the copy, but because I didnt jump to him when he wanted and do what he wanted he throws us out! And Christopher is a manger? Not good management at all! Worst experience ever! Save your money. This place is a joke! We will be contacting further and higher management and will definitely take it as far as needed. And also why does the guy that keep answering everyone next to his name says (OWNER) he definitely is not the owner and is the marketing manager, fountain beach resort is run by a board which they are being contacted to try and resolve our issues. If you want nice updated rooms then please go elsewhere because the update in these rooms are just throw the brightest yellow on the walls and call it good, NOT!.... i really cant tell you all enough to just do your homework before staying here please!

We stay at the Fountain Brach Resort every year for Turkey Rod. We love it so much we book our room for the next year as we are checking out!!! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rob and Bill have been fantastic! Rooms are clean. Housekeeping is great and we have never had a problem in the 4 years we have stayed there. Our rooms are booked for next year as well

Rented street legal cart from these guys and we had a blast crusing up and down the beach for 5 hours and at a fair price

Friendly front desk staff, reasonably priced, on the beach and has a Tiki Bar! Ask for unit 514.. we recently updated the dresser, mirror, headboards, nightstand and added a table with 4 chairs to play cards at and eat:) We also added 2 new chairs and a little table for the patio as well as a larger fridge to make your own ice cubes and have storage for drinks and food. They also have a new restuarant located in the building:) Check us out, unit 514!

Room was spacious and clean. The whole hotel is dated with paint peeling on balcony ceilings and where inside walls meet baseboards. Location is exceptional and only reason why they can charge excessive. Another plus is the Oasis bar and restaurant in hotel. However, I didnt use, so cant rate. I enjoyed the stay for Bike Week purpose.

Great place for the price. Not a 5 star resort but neither a cockroach motel. Tyler was our front desk clerk. We stopped at 5 different places looking for a place to stay at 3AM and Tylers attention and chivalry was enough for us to take the desicion to stay. Beach access and beach car entrance are right there. Other than the beach, a great place to just walk around in the street since there are many things to see.

Tub full of sand, must not have been cleaned. Faucet fell off when we turned it on. Floor dirty and wet from humidity. Trash by television, must not have been cleaned. Bathroom smaller than a closet. The closet had a dirty broom in it with nowhere to store it away from the toddler. Ceiling falling down..

I like this place! And they have a dj or band almost everyday at their tiki bar in back! Nice place!

Was great for the price and clean. Not the most fancy but offers small breakfast, directly on the beach about a mile or so from the pier. Doesnt really have beach view rooms as all the rooms are on the sides of the building and none are really facing the beach. If u get a room towards the back u will get a partial view which is nice.

Great location, friendly staff. The room we had was a little dated but larger than a normal hotel room. Great 10 foot deep pool, very large. Steps to the beach. They have a live DJ that will take requests and they also have a full bar and restaurant. This was my first trip and has become the go to spot for my family. The food is a bit pricey but their onion rings and chicken strips are delicious. They also have a hot tub and a sauna in the fitness room. My new favorite spot, right at the corner of 92 and A1A, and u can rent street legal golf carts in the lobby, I highly recommend!! Very fun!!!

Walking through the front door you are greeted by a large welcoming lobby, with comfortable couches. Every staff menber is friendly & helpful - even at the busiest times. Great rooms & suites with plenty of space for everyone and beautiful kitchens. Location is perfect for walking to all the Daytona Beach resturants & shops. Love relaxing by the pool or in the hot tub and enjoying the ocean view & breeze. Plus pool side Tiki Bar. Of course easy access to the beach! Plenty of parking too. Fair rates.

We stayed at the Fountain Beach Resort for one night while in Daytona visiting the Magic of Lights at the Daytona International Speedway. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our room. First and foremost, the room was spotless. It is an older property, but you can tell that they have worked hard to make it a nice place to stay. The room was decorated in a welcoming beachy theme. The linens were crisp and spotlessly white. There were four pillows on each queen bed, although two were meant to be more decorative than slept upon. The bathroom linens were the same, clean and plentiful. There was a tiny area that housed a sink, minifridge, microwave and a coffeemaker. Although there was a high-top table and chairs, there was no regular chair or small sofa. This would have been a nice option, especially when you need to sit to put shoes on, etc. The lobby and hallways were exceptionally clean, and they were tastefully decorated for Christmas. A small balcony provided sitting room for two people who would be able to enjoy a partial view of the beach. Since there was construction going on while we were there, there was construction equipment blocking the view somewhat. The construction crews did start rather early, but the work needs to be done sometime. We did not visit the restaurant, so we are unable to comment about it. Other than the lack of a chair as mentioned above, the only other tiny issues were with the door to the toilet shower area. It has been damaged in the past, and it has just been painted over instead of replaced. Also, the faucet at the bathroom sink came off in my hands, but it did work. A replacement would be an easy thing to do. Finally, this room must have at one time been a smoking room as there were burn marks on the vanity top from cigarettes. Fortunately, there was no other signs or odors from cigarettes. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much, and would highly recommend the Fountain Beach Resort.

Fabulous hotel in a great area, If you like thrift stores check out Catholic Charities thrift shop a few blocks down the street. Its a super cute store with awesome finds. Hotel room is equipped with a mini fridge and a coffee maker.

Im staying there again for my bday i love this hotel this is going to be my only hotel in daytona that im staying at rooms are clean staff is amazing each room has its own personality they look different i love it cant wait

ONLY TRUST REVIEWS BY REAL PEOPLE AS EVERY ROOM IN HOTEL ARE INDIVIDUALLY OWNED. We are now in room 210 and its nicer. The first room 314 stunk like mildew all from the beds headboard made of wicker. The pool heater was broken from hurricane Matthew and today is November 6th. Im getting charged a resort fee??? No hot breakfast. Its not a bad place if youre lucky to get a nicer room. Each room is owed by individual so its hard to know the best one to be in. LOOKING BELOW the room with lighter colors and wicker is the stinky room. The red white and blue room was better.
