The hotel is a bit dated and could use a little sprucing up decor wise. With pandemic some amenities not available but the resort fee is still full price. The room itself was an amazing deal for an ocean view. It was also clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

The manager that took us in last night was very nice he was very professional also did his job very thoroughly.. And was courteous. The beds was very comfortable. He made it very easy for us to have a Room right next To the kids so we could keep an eye on them and hear them at all times.. The balconies were very private very nice ..they Where set up So no wind can blow on you from either side.. They have a nice lounge decent price drinks.

Overall the place is actually pretty nice but noticed a hole in the bathroom wall when I close the door went down and tell the service desk about it and they tell me they want to charge me for it and was very rude. Afternoon staff was great friendly,morning staff not so much. Could be updated and cleaned too. Here are some pics enjoy .

We came for truck week. The hotel itself was excellent location. We didnt leave but one time , we were warned not to beacuse you will lose your spot. They werent lying! I dont know of because of a busy weekend but that place was swamped and they didnt care where the hell they parked. A lot of young kids screaming, drinking and dancing until late hours. Not the hotels fault. The room was outdated , the toilet and shower ran , the balcony had a little mold from.the air conditioner dripping. Its a gorgeous view to the beach and to people watch. The staff were extremely friendly . The wait for the elevators was absolutely ridiculous! Then one elevator broke so that big hotelwas hanging on one of them! The hotel bar was probably the best! Louie the bartender is extremely friendly, struck up conversation & we met some very nice people there. The pool was good. Im not sure if we would come back to this one again, next time we were down. It did its purpose for the crazy weekend.

Love the huge rooms, however only 2 towels, no hand towels or washcloths was a disappointment, probably available apon request (maybe covid cleanliness related change)

I’m not one for doing reviews. Although I’ve been bothered about my stay. Let’s state the best things first, the view of the ocean 10/10, 10/10 on what was on tv..most of the staff were great, but I did run in to a staff member that seemed more annoyed with me, and mistreated other employees..The hotel offered nothing other then a pool, and a room.About my room.. great view of ocean.. could not get my shower to work, my kitchen light didn’t work, nor did one of my lamps. Couldn’t keep anything plugged in to an outlet cause it would just fall out. Floor by sliding door got soaked because of the rain and the door was shut. I’m curious to why I had to pay a resort fee when there was nothing available.. hated the fact that the restaurant was closed..I’m assuming this hotel is marijuana friendly because that is all I could smell.Overall.. I would have rather just stayed home.

Holes in the walls ,carpet stained, chairs stained ,could not get the water to shut off in the tub.Went down and told front desk about the holes in the walls they told me I was responsible for the holes in the walls that was there when I got there. beware front desk morning crew was very rude . Afternoon check in people was pleasant and nice just beware and look at the room before you take it the place was dated and needed some work but other than that it was okay good location walking distance to main Street.

I needed-a low-key get away, abd I checked in at the ocean breeze club hotel. The first Perron you see if the clerk at the front desk. He was extremely respectful and very polite. When you live in Daytona beach and stay in the hotels here as locals it’s common to not be treated very well. But he made me feel at ease. I asked for the highest floor available abs was was given the 11 floor out of 12. The room was very clean. And the only negative thing to say was that the lamp was broken but I never told anyone so how would they know. I asked fir a late check out and was able to leave at noon instead of 11. I would definitely come back to this place.

Perfect amount of ghetto fabulous!!! For the money you can’t beat it. Awesome size rooms ocean front only $10 upgrade. Water on tub never shut off but it had incredible water pressure! Awesome views from the room. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful except for one lady the night we checked in was rude and short. Ordering omelettes is way better then ihop. Pool is nice. All in all would recommend for affordable vacation in the off-season.

The only, and I mean only good thing about this resort is its location. The rooms are so dirty it is unreal. Dust bunnies on the ceiling and walls, nothing has been wiped down since Florida became a state, and I can keep going on but I think you get the point. Oh, and did I forget to mention that once the very small parking lot fills up you have to park across the street next to the strip club. Corona virus aint got nothing on this place.

Did not like the hotel very much. Not worth the price. Dont think Im coming back until they remodel.Good things: Costumer service and location. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and very accomodating during our whole stay and the location was great. It is right next to the water and really close to the boulevard with restaurants, bars, and stores.Bad things: dirty, outdated, bad smells, very expensive. I checked some Airbnbs afterwards and they were much cheaper, good locatio, and way way better quality.

Hotel is definitely not a resort. Run down and out dated. Bath tub leaked had to put a towel in it to keep from hearing the water run. Tub needs to be redone. Bed was very uncomfortable. Only thing nice about this place was the view. Would NOT recommend and will NOT be back.

Negative: Everything! This was a terrible experience from the get go so we quickly turned in our keys and left. Had to scramble to find a place to stay.

Location was great. Staff at front desk was very friendly. However, On our 2nd day our keys to our room quit working. And room service never came to our room. We had to go get what we needed from the front desk, because they didnt answer the phone when i called.

We have and okay experience at this Hotel the view was amazing the private beach entrance though the pool was nice. But the actual room was horrible. Looks like a bad movie scene the bathrooms were also in bad shape the hotel needs to be upgraded and rooms need to be renovated. But I can’t complain you pay for what you get I think I had paid $100 for two nights so in that aspect I chad a place to sleep and plenty beach access near by the pool wasn’t terrible. Did not like that there were hardly anything restaurants near by or in walking distances. We only found a run down chicken spot and a small pizza shack across the street everything else was in driving range.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Dont go here rooms are disgusting and run down the whole place is. Do more research for your hotel before you book it. You can get a much nicer, cleaner room for the same price.Lesson learned! Stay away from this filthy place. You have been warned.

This was the best option in Daytona Beach. Very affordable perfect location and wonderful staff. The only thing it needs is a good renovation over the whole building. Big shout out to Malcom at the front desk. He is super hard working. He helps everyone while completing multiple tasks. He was here night and day. He deserves a raise or something. This man is the glue holding the hotel together from a guest service point of view.

We arrived at night and couldnt see the exact condition of the hotels disrepair. I honestly dont know how this hotel is allowed to operate in this condition. It is dirty, mold clearly grows within the ceiling cavities (evident by wet and broken ceiling tiles), the room was ill equipped with basic items (like bedding and a mattress), many balconies have missing chunks of concrete and exposed rebar, barely working elevators, dirty rooms with un-wiped, un-vacuumed, un-sanitized surfaces, bathroom that can only be described as working and staff that is rude, doesnt follow direction and has the demeanor of being fresh out of jail.On the second floor, ceiling tiles are broken, giving a clear view of the black mold growing throughout. (Photos uploaded). Leaks are present throughout the entire hotel. If you dont see rust, you see mold and stains from active leaks. If you are sensitive to microorganisms, like mold and bacteria, do not stay in this hotel.Cleaning staff clearly doesnt care about basic hygiene... The floors were not vacuumed or wiped down. There was a used panty liner from a bathing suit stuck to the hair dryer, a used condom on the floor, vaccum not run, bathrooms very dirty and even when do not disturb sign placed on door, they still knocked early in the AM. (Photos attached)Front desk staff was quite courteous. So that was nice.Try to obtain a room close to the ground floor, so you dont wait an hour for the elevators. This was a common joke you would hear from all patrons while waiting for the elevator. The doors would close hard whether they were clear of suitcases or body parts. It would struggle between floors.The crumbling structure was the most disturbing point. Every balcony was leaking from the neighboring AC unit, Leaks, rust, missing concrete, exposed rebar (some was even painted over to hide the glaring imperfections) in the structure. On the back side of the building, it was clearly noticeable that at some storm in the past, the wind had caught the eave drip and fascia metal, ripping it back and exposing the interior of the roof cavity to the elements.The room we reserved was sold out when we arrived, due to a maintenance issue...meaning they sold it. This didnt upset us, as this was a quick weekend getaway, without the kids. But if this were planned vacation, the experience wouldve been highly upsetting, on many levels. This hotel was so bad, on so many levels, it has become a joke in our memories. A National Lampoon type experience.

It was a hot mess in all honesty. First we were booked in a room that already had guests in it. Then we were switched to a room that turned out to be out of order. The final room was better but the whole place smelled like marijuana. The restaurant was only open Friday and part of Saturday which was not advertised any where. Was not impressed and will not be back.

There were three holes in the walls. All of the metal in the restroom area was rusted. The tub needed to be refinished. There were no wash cloths in the room. When I asked for some, I had to go down and get them. The only good thing about the room was that it was on the beach with a great view.

Out dated. However customer service is good. Hotel is old looking inside. A few druggies out front. And the rooms are spacious. They are pet friendly. And you are right on the beach.

Came to this hotel due to a incident at another , and due to the quick but helpful service from the male clerk my stay was secured. Definitely was expecting for the rooms to be in better shape due to the price but I felt comfortable with my younger brothers and that was my concern. Definitely would book again with a deal.

Very dirty!! The floor was soaking wet in the first room, and smelled terrible. I changed rooms, the room they gave me the the water would not stop running all nite, my boyfriend had to physically turn off the water to the toilet. But the shower still leaked all nite. The ceiling was falling apart. It was all around terrible. Don’t waste your money!!

Always a solid experience. Have stayed here 5 times.. The 1st thing I will tell you is: location, location, location. This hotel is perfectly located to be within walking distance of almost everything. Yes, it does have the slowest elevators in America but for the price and location it is a minor inconvenience. Because after all were not in Daytona to hangout in the hotel. Its all about the sunshine and the ocean and this hotel makes it easy to enjoy bothThe front desk has always treated us well and the bartenders always make it a welcome experience. We arent very demanding when it comes to housekeeping but when we need service or items they are always right on it. Looking forward to stay #6 here in July

Little bit older but was really reasonable and clean. And for once the pillows were better than any other hotel I have stayed in and that includes the holiday inn.

This place is fairly clean for rooms. Cost is cheap. Parking is strange. Got to go to overflow parking across street. Elevators have broken button for level 3. The stairwell smells like marijuana. Front desk is ok. Bar is nice inside. Beach side view is amazing. Beach is amazing.

Broken beds, water dripping in shower, roaches, bed bugs, broken handle on sliding doors, outdated, urine smell in room, hallway smell of Marijuana, cracks in walls, broken remote to tv... the only thing going for them is nice lobby and customer service. They shouldnt be charging a resort fee... there isnt anything resort about it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Rooms are NOT as advertised on any site, including their own. Manager that i dealt with was not willing to accept responsibility for the reservation screw up and blamed anyone but the hotel for the room not being what I paid for 3 weeks in advance. To make matters worse, when confronted with the hotel confirmation email regarding the payment being posted for the king room with ocean view, she went on to blame me for using a booking site. Remind you, there is a clear NO REFUND policy, which states regardless if i stay or not, they will not refund my money. The double bed room that was forced on us, is old and outdated and smelled. Found pubic hair on the towels so we used our own that we had with us. Even though I complained about the door being very hard to open, I was thankful for it on our last day there, due to the maid deciding to enter our room even though the do not disturb sign was hang on door. Nothing about this hotel is like the pictures they have posted. Will never stay here or recommend.

Its my first time coming to Florida and this was the first i figured would be amazing. No. Lobby smelt like urine and the room had sticky carpet. The bed was yellow and wet. The nightstand was missing knobs and burgers wiped on the wall. I immediately went to the lobby and customer service was very nice about me wanting my refund.

My room was changed three(3) times, bathrooms are in deplorable condition, view was more street and building instead of beach view as requested. The furniture is dirty and ragged. The lock and doors on all 3 rooms either jamed or was difficult to unlock. Parking is insufficient. Every TV was messed up in some sort of way. The hallway smelled of marihuana. Guests and staff was arguing. This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.

The hotel was dirty and many services were not provided as advertised. The bathroom was filthy with the tub constantly leaking water and rust stains everywhere. Breakfast was not provided although it was listed at booking. The only thing good about this hotel is that it is on the beach. It was in need of a full renovation and some TLC.

The staff was unbelievably nice. They went out of their way to help in any capacity that is needed. That is where the good part about this hotel ends. The hotel itself is so nasty. The water in our bathroom kept running and it looked so dirty. The pool has black spots on the bottom at the deep end. Whe you look up at the balconies while in the pool you can see the plaster falling off and missing. The black mold or dirt (whichever) is on the balconies and other areas. Upkeep is certainly not a priority for this hotel. I dont know if it was me but the place reeked of Marijuana.

Please do not waste your money by booking this hotel. We walked into our room and it had moldy ceilings, a VERY dirty, rusty bath tub, and the smell throughout the hotel was unpleasant.

What a joke, the pictures online are deceiving! The hotel & rooms are run down. Our room smelled like urine, the bed & shower still had hair strands in them. Let’s not forget how unprofessional the front staff was...what’s the point in enforcing guests to wear masks when NONE of them were wearing them! Along with not enforcing their own rule in only allowing up to four guests in the elevator. Big disappointment!

The rudest front desk staff Ive ever dealt with. I called to cancel my reservations due to a death in my family and as I was talking to the man on the phone he cut me off mid sentence and said Whats the name! No sympathy or Im sorry for your loss. Just said Ill refund it and hung up. Absolutely no professionalism. This is the second time Ive had to call the front office about my reservation and each time was awful. I would never spend money with these rude people. Book somewhere else that has better customer service skills.

This hotel is run down and falling apart, it smells musty and urine. The first room had roaches, the second room had dirty comforter and linens. I could not get any rest because they allow dogs of all sizes and breeds in the rooms so of course the howling and barking kept waking me and my husband up! The night people on duty wouldnt help anyone. Asked Travis for towels and a pillow for two days. Wasnt until shamara came on duty we got some. Nights are rough around hotel.

Our room was nice. It was great having a private balcony except when the guy next to us was smoking. Bathtub needs to be replaced. The pool is really nice and beautiful views of ocean from pool area. The hotel needs a good update and painting. The restaurant/bar was convenient and the breakfast was decent with cold options included. The staff were very helpful and nice.

Hotel is old and disgusting. Outside area is just as bad. Pics are a lie if looking on Orbitz. Do not waste your money.

We got free drink coupons for the hotel bar but were unfortunately not able to use them. There was free breakfast that was fairly basic but good and ala cart breakfast items available to purchase at a pretty reasonable price. I had biscuits and gravy and wasnt disappointed

Worst experience ever! I am a single mom to 3 small kids. I work very hard to provide for them and after saving for a long time i was able to take them on a mini-vacation. The environment was absolutely not family-friendly. Mildew on the walls. Front desk personnel were the worst I have ever experienced. I had asked them for towels twice because there were none in my room and NEVER received them. Pool was disgusting and surrounding area of hotel falling apart. Parking was almost non-existent. I had to park at a different area which was across the road from the hotel and had to cross an extremely dangerous intersection. I had to do this at night while carrying my small child with questionable individuals around and crossing the dangerous intersection. The elevator took atleast 5 minutes to arrive every time. The lights in the room did not work. The fridge was dripping water in the carpet. There was mildew in the bathroom and a hole on the door frame. The phone did not work and when I went to ask them about it the next day I was informed all rooms ending in 19 had no phone service (and they never informed me about it before). On the following evening my middle child became sick and was vomiting. I was driving back to the hotel in order to care for him and was informed there was no parking available. I went to the front desk and was informed I had to pay a fee in order to park elsewhere and my car would not have guarantee safety in this horrid place!! I could not stay another night. I packed up and took my children home, while my little one was vomiting in the backseat and this momma cried all the way home. The front desk personnel informed me all they could do was reimburse the resort fee of about $35!!!! How dare they do this to me and my little ones?!!

The staff was very rude, customer service was poor. Sheets were dirty on the bed. When we arrived the housekeeping staff accused me and my family of making fun of them when we were simply laughing having a great time as we were exiting the elevator. The 2 ladies asked were we laughing at them and they continued to talk about us being very rude. We entered out rooms and the linen on the bed had stains so we politely asked for them to be changed and that was an issue with the staff and we were told those were just spots as if it should have been ok. The lock to our room did not work properly we had to attempt multiple times to open the door with the key before it actually worked. Later on in our stay we were downstairs asking for an actual comforter for the bed and we were told they didn’t have any but the worker was very rude and several occasions. We then asked to get a corporate number and we were told that there wasn’t one and the GM was off and we would not be able to speak with him. I am a very understanding individual and I can overlook a lot of things but this was by far the worst experience stay that I’ve ever had in my life.

Its run down and dirty. 11 floors and only 3 ice machines working they are on floor 3, 5 and 9. Vending machines do not work. Dirty tub with paint peeling off, flickering bathroom light. Door to room was hard to open and close. I could go in and on. No free breakfast bar and restaurant closed.

Positive: It was on the beach. Negative: The entire hotel was in disrepair and very dirty. The 5th floor smelled like cat urine it over-powered you the minute you got off the dirty elevator.Every piece of furniture in the room was broken. The couch was stained and ragged. We left, did not stay.

DONT waste your money coming here. The hall smells like stale beer and marijuana. The beds are lumpy. The bathrooms are old and outdated and dirty. The elevator feels like it is going to fall apart at any moment. Stay away . Don’t waste your money here. Not to mention the hidden “resort fee”

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, the janitorial staff were prompt and courteous, the food in the hotel bar was really good, (we even were able to order something that was not on the menu) and the bartenders and wait staff were really helpful. The view from our room was amazing, open the curtains and watch the sunrise over the ocean from the bed.Biggest complaint would be smokers on the balconies.Small issues, room refrigerator didnt keep very cold, and the shower was a bit violent, like a firehose.Sure, the lobby smelled a bit weird and the elevators are janky, but it is obviously an older hotel that could use some updates but for the service and the view I would definitely stay there again.

The parking situation is HORRIBLE. This place is not family friendly in that respect unless you like running your kids across 5 lanes of speeding traffic every time you leave or come back.The whole hotel needs a renovation. Elevators stop at every floor whether someone is there or not which makes for long lines being there are 11 floors.Twice while sitting on my extremely hot balcony (neighboring room AC exhaust blows out on 5’x5’ balcony) the person above me has poured out a cup of beer which splashed all over me.I give 2 stars only because the staff are very polite even with so many people complaining about the above mentioned issues plus more.My suggestion is spend the extra $25 per night & go elsewhere

Customer service is horrible. Stayed 3 nights. They never once changed the sheets, or cleaned the room. We had one towel for the bathroom when we arrived that also never got replaced. Door would not lock, and room across the door wouldn’t even close. Very run down and very poor workers. Called for extra blankets to which they said they didn’t have any. Will not stay again. Especially not with children.

The first room we got was a disaster. No blankets on the bed, no mattress on the sleeper sofa, so no bedding for that. Only one lamp worked, the phone barely worked, etc. What I will say, however, is the staff was very considerate and gave us a new room. Much better! The hotel needs repairs and a remodel. There is also black mold, so be cautious. Sadly, everything else was already booked.

Positive: Close to the beach and the pool is opened. Negative: Room 312. First thing we came in, we noticed the problem on the plumbing. It kept making a noise every 5 minute. Second, the water at faucet kept running and wont shut off. Third, there was a cockroache behind the bed, the carpet stank like wet dog.

Positive: Price Negative: Its an older hotel that needs renovation. Toilet running. Faucet fell off. Water pressure hard.

Great place to enjoy a weekend getaway without spending your last dollar. Free breakfast and a free drink in the afternoon when the live music starts out by the school day. Its a great place to get a weekend getaway with your friends and bring the kids or leave them home.

This hotel was in a great location the staff was awesome we stayed on the seventh floor it was quite not much wait for the elevator the pool area was clean the beach out the back door the boardwalk a short walk awayCant say enough about the staff most friendly people we really enjoyed our stay and have already have another weekend getaway planned

Excellent area. Very big hotel. We had to switch our first room for another one. Overall not clean hotel. Ok for overnight

Positive: Close to beach Negative: Rooms are very dirty, staff rude and not very helpful at all. Had 2 days without sheets kept calling and asking and they said housekeeping would drop them off and they never did, I asked reception and they said they didnâ€t have any to give me. DUM

Positive: Location. Price. Negative: Bad odor in lobby. Slow elevators. Breakfast a bit disappointing.

Was pretty good rooms.. but the sliding glass doors were hard as hell to open and close.. and Ive never seen this in any other hotel before, but there were no comforters on the beds.. and we had 2 rooms, same thing.. incl the hard to open sliding glass doors to the porch. The porch was nice to see and feel the ocean and wind.. but its hot out there due to having to stand in front of the big A.C. vents kicking hot air out and not much space outside of that hot air kicking esp when theres a few people standing out there together. Also, the only other thing that sucked, our next door neighbors were arguing for hours and you cant help but hear it bc theres a door inbetween the rooms so you can hear them, even if you dont want to. I was in the bathroom (which is at that connecting door) getting ready for going out that night and had to listen to all of that even louder until I was done with getting dressed and putting makeup on and such. The hotel cant help whos arguing.. but we should have more solid walls and such not to have to hear all that. I imagine if they werent arguing, and were instead getting it on we wouldve had to hear that too! Lol.. but not really all that funny either when you have any kids with you staying. But it was super nice being right on the ocean side!
