I recently sold a condo in this community and the staff, security, hoa personnel were all delightful. They were very concerned with guest & owner safety and well being in light of COVID. The property features a restaurant, coffee shop, lobby working space, fitness room, tennis court, basketball court, beautiful zero entry pool. This really does impact one having a great experience whether youre thinking about owning or vacationing, I highly recommend this place. Oh, if youre thinking about owning, I highly recommend myself as your Realtor of choice. :)

Diffitnly coming back again! We had a such a great time. There pool is amazing... it has pool side service all day. We plan on bringing the whole family next time. This place is super kid friendly and has lots to do for everyone.I was really impressed with there customer service in there downstairs bistro bar. Fernando gave us 5 star service and served us amazing hand crafted delicious drinks. All his food recommendations were on point! Fernando absolutely understands customer service!Thank you Fernando for making our experience one of a kind!

Stayed at the resort in August 2020 as a couples trip and thoroughly enjoyed the resort. The location is perfect!!! Within close distance to everything Destin has to offer. There is plenty to do in this area for people traveling with and without kids. The resort style pool and hot tub area was a big hit for us, the grounds were beautiful and well kept and the music at the Good Vibes bar was great for late night dancing. The room was nice and clean and the balcony facing the pool area was a plus. The unit was a little out dated and the dishwasher did not work but other than that everything exceeded our needs. I highly recommend the Palms of Destin Resort and look forward to returning.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed Kat who was kind enough to serve us some awesome drinks by the pool! She also became our go to girl for the remainder of our stay! We discovered a ton of fun; thanks Kat!!!!The kitchen had everything but food and seasoning! They had the most awesome cervical pillow in our bed! Tons of extras and a fan! Great shower pressure but the dryer took several times but doesn’t matter, it was just nice to have that option!

We had to wait about 2 hours because the locks on our doors would not work.Maintenance finally fixed them the next day.

It was a nice resort. The pools were awesome! They seemed short on help at times. The Parking Garage NEEDS BETTER directions, like arrows and signs to tell which direction to go.... because everyone was going ALL directions there were no noticable signs at all...

Nice resort with good amenities. The pool is really fun, and a great place to hang out and relax. The unit we rented had an amazing view. We really enjoyed the central location of this resort and its very close to the beach. They have a little coffee shop, and a nice restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating

Our first visit, not as guests but to the restaurant. The food was a bit above average, but we will give it another shot as we were at a large event and its likely they are more set up for traditional dining. There was nothing that tasted poorly, just the service was very slow and some orders not taken accurately. The setup was nice, acoustics worked and we think it is a fun spot. We are looking forward to trying it again.

The place is beautiful, but carpet all over the entrance of front desk, hall ways and room sure can take a good cleaning; lots of spots everywhere. Other than that; I loved the place and sure will return again!

It was our 1st time starting at this facility.Check-in went smooth with the exception of not being familiar with the “eLock” concept.We were given a “key card”, but there was no “swiping” mechanism on the door !?!Besides that... everything seemed fine.I appreciated the COVID-19 concerns that were demonstrated (of course, you can’t police everyone!).Unit 2804 was just like the advertisement. However, on a minor detail...I was expecting a coffee “pod” to be provided for the coffee maker !??(no biggie though).THERE POOL WAS WORTH IT ALL !!!We didn’t stay long enough to explore the rest of the amenities (fitness room, tennis courts, b-ball...).Current prices for ANY facility seems pricey to me, but hey... to each his own !?!

Experience was enjoyable First thing that should be stated is to be in contact with the original renters if purchased from these sites if having any problems with your room because the front desk help is completely unhelpfulI was told my room had wifi and there was no wifi and lisa told me she put in a work order and no one ever came the tv only has the weather channel but we weren’t there to watch tv luckily other than that the visit was very good and I would visit Destin again soon

This place was more than the pictures could reveal when visualizing with the naked eye. I loved the large balcony and the service was excellent. My blender in the unit was broke and they replaced it immediately with a new one. Loved the pools and hot tub.

Wonderful 2 bedroom suite... wonderful amenities including pool, workout facility and on-premises restaurant and coffee shop. Walking distance to the beach or shuttle there. Great place to relax!

We booked this under an Air B&B reservation..quite honestly expecting a bit more. When I arrived, there was hair all over the shower, which I needed to disinfect upon arrival. That being said, the staff was friendly, though I feel like this hotel is definitely feeling the hit of COVID because the rugs down the hallway were tattered and stained, something Im not used to in a place such as The Palms.My teenagers didnt seem too mind any of it at all, they especially enjoyed the pool the entire time we were here.All in all, our stay was lovely and I am very thankful they have managed to stay open during these challenging times...

AC in room needed maintenance. It was so uncomfortably hot. I tried not to use the elevator much and took the stairs. Awful mildew smell throughout. Access Key did not work consistently. Had to keep swiping several times in all areas of the resort. A little on the run down side. First time staying at this resort and was not impressed at all. Needs maintenance.

This Hotel was very disappointing. We stayed 3 nights and for the entire stay, none of the televisions worked. We complained about it THREE times. They finally came and “fixed it”... They made the picture work but no sound... It stayed like that throughout the entire stay. The hallways and rooms smell like pot, the carpet and chairs are dirty. You do not get daily cleaning services unless you pay 300 dollars. Don’t get me wrong, the pool was amazing and the bar was nice, but the rooms their selves needs a lot of work and could really use an update. Definitely not worth the cost of this place and very much a letdown to my family.

The complex itself is nice and the pool is huge . The front desk has really weird hours that arent really convenient to travelers.Another downside is the lack of luggage carts . The one we found had a flat tire . Really really terrible . Manage a resort and have too few luggage carts and the ones they have are in terrible shape.There are no grills on property either . Yet another disappointing aspect of this complex. It would nice to cook dinner for your family one or two nights .The parking is really far away as well . See lack of luggage carts as another deterrent as too why this is another bad aspect .Our room was advertised as pool view . It would of been if the crape myrtles werent overgrown to 40 feet .The restaurant on property seems to run the place. Youre not allowed to bring drinks to the pool . They want you to purchase from the restaurant. Also last night the restaurant had a band play till after 10 pm . My kids couldnt sleep it was so loud .Not sure I would ever stay here again honestly. Biggest plus to it is thats cheap and it is in the center of destin .

TV system needs to be updated! No Netflix.Bathroom doesnt include shampoo & conditioner. Everything else is great!

Resort was clean and in good order. Same for our room. Located close to the beach, just a short shuttle or drive to get there.

Positives: Centrally located to many shopping places, near the beaches, Covered parking, playground, tennis court, pickleball court, zero entry pool (quite large but unheated), hot tub, heated pool (much smaller but nice), gym onsite.Negatives: not beachfront, splash pad is barely working. Many staff members not wearing masks.Kinda both: bar and grill onsite, great food but slow service, overpriced.Wed probably stay again because the air b&b we stayed in was nice.

Nice place, villas were wonderful and near the pool making it convenient. Walk to beach was about 10-15 min depending if you caught light.

What a wonderful place to stay. They really have it all. The pool is super nice and great. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. Its close to the beach and Henderson state park and a lot of things like food and shopping. The fitness center has a lot of equipment and is top quality.

I have been an owner at The Palms for 9 years and I love it!!! We have experienced so many positive changes in the past couple of years and it seems to be getting better and better! Most recently we have been fortunate to have a new restaurant/bar under new ownership and management and it is AWESOME!!! Thom Newcomb has brought this venue to life! Everything from the atmosphere, the FOOD (amazing Hawaiian chef!), the drinks, the staff and the entertainment has been ALL we hoped it would be! I don’t rent my unit but many owners do. So, if you are looking for a quality resort condo to rent or to purchase, this is the place!!!

Amazing resort and a great location! Rooms were clean, employees were helpful and friendly, and the pool/ entertainment areas were beautiful! Live music on certain nights, a bar and grill, couldnt have asked for more!

These folks need some serious training on customer service and hospitality. I guess they have gotten very complacent and believe they really don’t need to perform or provide good service because the place was busy. The first issue was parking. We had to park very far away from the entrance because there wasn’t enough parking available. We use a handicap van and we ended up having to park in a regular spot because there was not enough handicap spaces available. Then that night we decided to take out a meal from their on-site restaurant, The Bistro. We called several times and no one answered so we “Googled” them to order online and the only way to order was through Door Dash. We paid for four people to eat. After the food was late, I walked to the Bistro and was told “Oh, we don’t use Door Dash anymore.” They were very unconcerned about the money we lost through Door Dash (still haven’t gotten a refund) and there was no explanation for not answering their phone in the first place (the restaurant was empty). In our week-long stay, we ordered or went there 4 times and EVERY TIME there was an error in our order or billing that we had to fix... so we just stopped. Next, was the fact that they let folks smoke around the pool. I thought there was a law against this? Yes, they “police” the pool to see if you have your pool armband but NEVER tell smokers to move or stop. At this time in our country we are dealing with the Coronavirus and Palms has a stand of disinfectant wipes to use on the tables by the pool and it NEVER has any wipes. When I asked for wipes (which was every day!) they act very inconvenienced and sometimes never even returned with any. I had to bring my own. There was a nasty spill that stayed in the hallway for hours. Cigarette butts all over the grounds. Staff does not wear masks and do not ask patrons to wear masks. Our individual unit was fine but the property staff were awful. Poor experience for us and we will not be returning.

Great place to have lunch in the open air. Food and service were good. Only thing is the music was a little loud for conversation. We liked the mix of music just loud.

Very nice place. We got the two bedroom very spacious. The pool view was amazing the only complaint and reason why i didnt give a 5 star rating was because the parking arrangement is hectic. And the room we got never really got cold at all.

Our second year staying here. Consistently friendly staff and our rooms have been clean both years too. This is great place for kids, lots to do & a minute drive to the beach.

There was mold in bathroom which they claimed not to be responsible for. Rude staff. Went from car straight to hot tub with my wife and a cooler and had someone tell us to remove the cooler for it was too big as we are trying to relax on vacation. Tried going to piano bar with two friends and my wife but would not accept my ID even though me my wife and two friends are all 29. Didnt bring my passport for I was not leaving the country and recieved my passport via my ID. One bed had no blankets so I went to front desk and no one was there so then went to adjacent restaurant and spoke to manager which offered me a blanket from the lost and found.. Spent good money for econo lodge quality.

Absolutely disgusting my first night i found multiple cockroaches and a bed bug. My family was lost and confused we were asking the workers for help and they did absolutely nothing they were slow. 100% do not recommend.

The palms is beautiful! Our first time staying here.Its like an all inclusive resort minus the inclusive! Lol The pool is great! Its huge, even when packed it still wasnt too crowded. We did not walk to the beach. It is across a busy road, so we drove. The beach directly across from the hotel was very crowded and trashy. People left trash everywhere, nothing like Ive ever seen.We drove down the road to Henderson state park and it was great and worth the $6! We were also there over labor day weekend, so that’s probably why it was so crowded. The balconies in our room were excellent as well. Our unit was comfortable for the 6 of us. The band each night was also a plus! There are plenty of good food choices around too, we had merlins pizza delievered and it was excellent! I would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay to enjoy your time in Destin. The pool is absolutely incredible and is never crowded because its so large. Pool side service from the restaurant and bars is a plus. The unit we stayed in was 1207 and was very modern and well kept. The thing you have to remember is you are renting from owners of the individual condos,for the most part, not from the resort itself. In other words, treat the condo as you would your own home. The front desk is not staffed at night like it would be at a hotel, which is fine. They have security and codes outside doors and swipe cards for the rooms. If there is an emergency that you need fixed there are numbers to call for maintenance. Also, its conveniently located within a 5 minute drive to Henderson state beach. Thats a beautiful beach, BTW. There is a restaurant on site and also a Joes Crab Shack and a Bubba Gump next door to the complex. It is about a 15 minute drive to the HarborWalk boardwalk. If we come back to Destin, this is definitely going to be the place we stay.

I don’t even know where to begin. Highly aggravated. Booked 8 days for my family here, wasn’t told there was a bar below us that blared music til midnight. Beach access was listed in description, but the access is to private beaches you can’t be on. Not a good place for family with young children that need sleep, but if you’re looking to party all night it’s the perfect place.

Nice pool and bar area, close enough to the beach and they offer shuttles to get you there if you dont want to drive. Room was nice but didnt care much for the beds, werent bad just not super comfortable either.

We rented through Airbnb and it was a great location. We were able to walk to the beach across the street and to a couple nearby restaurants. The pool was very nice as well

I really like this resort in Destin. Its clean, close to the beach, the pool is a real winner. There is a well equipped gym at the Palms if you cant skip your workout even on vacay as me.Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo resort, just a stroll away from the gorgeous Destin beach (I recommend Henderson Beach State Park nearby), and several good restaurants. One less star for allowing employees and guests, especially at the bistro restaurant, but basically everywhere in the resort not to wear face masks and to completely ignore social distancing. We understand that the resort has limited enforcement capabilities, especially with 90% of the guests pretending that Covid-19 does not exist. With 100+ new cases per day just in Okaloosa County, we felt uncomfortable around others at times and in the elevator rides. We have even been lectured by someone on how face mask harm our health. Well, we gladly took that 5 minutes risk to protect selfish people like them from us, in case we were positive without knowing.

Rooms were nice and the staff was friendly (except for the bartenders at the restaurant downstairs).Laughed at you if you were confused about something.

The condo was pretty basic. We had a few maintenance issues. The sliding doors to the balcony wouldnt open. They fixed those on day 2. The washing machine didnt drain and it was never fixed during our stay. The ice maker didnt work and it was never fixed during our stay. The shower door didnt close from I side the shower and it was never fixed during our stay. The cafe was very nice. Prices were good, service was good and food was delicious. The pool area was very nice. Staff was great.

We LOVED The Palms. We will definitely come back. Its super close to beach access, tennis and basketball court, playground, and an AMAZING pool area with a play area for kids. We had a family of two in one a 1 room condo and fit easily.

Good location, everything (beach, shopping, and food) is within bike riding distance. Room wise its ok.

This is by far one if the best condominium resorts I have visited in Destin. The pool here is so great. Its right across the street from the beach and the amazing restaurants. If youre thinking of purchasing a condo here, you will not be disappointed.

Its very pretty and in a good central location, I loved the pools and pool side bar but the beds were not very comfortable and the parking garage was pretty far from the building where the rooms were

Fun place on the beach, great food and great service!

Nice resort with great amenities. The condos are spacious and clean. We did have trouble getting in because the gate code they gave me was an old one. And then when they gave us the new code we could only get in at one entrance. And there was no way to get to the garage so we had to park in the parking lot and we received a violation notice on the car. So we had to go explain that the code we had only worked at the entrance that doesnt give us access to the garage. Finally, we received a code that worked at all entrances. The pools are heated so that was a great plus for us because the month of December is a little cooler.

Really nice resort. I rented on vrbo so i believe that my problems were mostly with that. The pool was great and they had some awesome live music at the outdoor bar/restaurant. But on of the elevators in the west building was broken for the duration of my stay. For vrbo problems it was mostly that there werent good chairs in the apartment to hang put in other than that the staff was super nice, and everything was clean. It isnt on the beach but the pool ks wonderful

The swimming pool has black mold growing in it. Our room was rented through Vacasa. I called at 6pm on the day we arrived to let them know the dirty condition of the place. Did not hear from anyone until I called again on that tuesday. Chris that called me back was absolutely rude as if it was our fault and was in no way apologetic. The carpet was nasty with black all throughout the dishwasher did not work for 3 days and the place has roaches. I had to actually hook the living room tv up to get it yo work. The other 2 did not get working for 4 days and every time we left the room we had to reconnect to the network. The place had not been cleaned thoroughly as we found the check in envelopes from the 2 previous renters laying about the living room. We all were very dissapointed. I will never rent from Vacasa again and discourage you from renting from them.

Favorite place to stay at every time we visit Destin. Really nice condos with everything I need to make it a relaxing vacay. The only thing I need is to go grocery shopping and I am set for the week.

Great place! Enjoyed every minute in the condo and the location! Great condo - clean and had everything we wanted and more! Pool - luggage carts to help out - Mandatory parking garage and an extra parking pass was given at no charge. Young man was a great help and we had a good conversation about Illinois. No attitudes no issues and would definitely stay here again. Thank you

When we arrived the room hadn’t been cleaned throughly. There were Cheetos on the floor from the previous occupants. The tv wasn’t working we had to program one of the remotes ourselves. The master bathroom tub had hair in it. The bathroom towel rack fell. The kitchen sink was stopped up our entire visit. Dishwasher had water sitting in it as well. The ironing board was broken. Now I will say the manager bre did a great job trying to take care of these issues for us. Housekeeping and maintenance was sent in right away after the first night. However we still had a stopped up sink the entire stay. The bar was great! Kennedi and hailey were awesome along with some others. I think it was the bar owner himself who actually sat down and talked with us for a while. The atmosphere and amenities were amazing. Everyone made us feel at home! I just wish the unit was in better condition. That’s all! But I enjoyed it! Everyone was super friendly

We loved every second of our time here. My Wife and I got married on the beach but we really spent more time at the pool and the bar at night. You really dont have to leave the Resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

What a beautiful place to stay in Destin! A nice condominium-styled place and it has such beautiful views. There was issues before getting into the place:Vrbo (the booking site) had not given us the code to get in to the place till an hour after we arrived; we had received the gate code and such, but not the actual code to get in. This had caused an hour of issues, waiting for a representative, but when we could not reach one, we texted on of the property managers, who promptly given us the code to access the place. That was an unfortunate event.Otherwise than that, walking in to a spacious living room was fantastic. You walk in to a 55-inch Insignia Fire TV 4K HDR television. However, when going into the master and guest bedroom, you wont get the same result, instead you get a 14-inch Zenith TV. Not the quality that was paid for. Unfortunately, we went on a vacation during a time of crisis, which resulted in a lot of commodities being closed, including the fitness room and restaurants nearby. Destin is a nice place to stay, only when places are open. Luckily, the beach was and the view was beautiful!All in all, this place is a great place to stay, but make sure you have everything in hand before going, before you have to wait an hour outside your place.

We left some iteams behind by accident & they held the most of it, & the rest was stolen, Even with communicating back & forth with pictures being sent, the Excuses that work given were totally pathetic about what may have happened to my personal belongings..All in all, people if you stay here always double check back for your iteams because trust & believe if its anything of value left they claim it was donated lol & they only held my iteams as a courtesy..Now staying here was great but the ability to call someone if something goes wrong with the room is slow, And thats to be expected its the Summer time..But even then, we as the customers pay all this money to enjoy ourselves & if communicating back & forth with these folks in the office all the way up till the time you show up it should be a little more helpful when it comes time to retrieving your belongingsBut, theres ishful thinking ..

What I liked about the Palms of Destin was a clean, comfortable room that stayed cool with ceiling fans - didnt need to use the air conditioning once. They were located close to a Walmart so I was able to get groceries for my condo unit. The pool area is amazing- looks like lagoons in a tropical locale. Hot tub was very large and warm without being scalding. What I didnt like was the lack of communication about checking in and using the amenities at the resort. I had to call and ask about everything because there was never anyone at the so-called front desk and who was there wasnt helpful or knowledgable. They have key codes for everything here - into the building, into the room, into e pool area, etc. I didnt know that until I got there and couldnt get into the building where my condo unit was. I was given the key code for my room upfront and that was it. No warning about needing the code for anything else so I thought the room code would work on everything and it does NOT. No one suggested I would need to go to the front desk to get all the codes I needed, including the WIFI access, and told me that it would be in the packet in my room. It was not. My packet consisted of a vague set of instructions on how to check out (I still had to call to get that clarified) and that was it. The phone number they suggest you call when you have issues - the people there simply refer you back to the front desk and since no one is at the front desk or isnt knowledgable its useless

The Palms has undergone a major transformation with lots of improvements in the pool and general appearance. The Bistro at The Palms has great food and a superb atmosphere. The resort looks great.

We liked the location and pool. The check in and check out process was very easy. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. Lots of towels which was great.The condo definitely needs some attention. The carpet was old and stained - which made the whole place feel unclean. The furniture had a very used smell to it. The master bed was so uncomfortable and really needs to be replaced. You could hear lots of traffic noise throughout the night. There was a hole around one of the outlets which seemed unsafe. The tub didn’t drain properly. The sheets were clean but there were enough pillow cases or comforters for the beds. The comforters they did have didn’t seem laundered so we had to wash those. We didn’t have any extra trash bags. The only pan they had was a tiny omelet pan which made cooking tough. They did have a big pot. The patio overlooks a Dollar Tree parking lot with the beach in the distance. The patio really needs a scrub to remove dirt buildup. I sent an email to see how I could leave this feedback to Vacasa but never heard back.

Great resort! Clean, well furnished and equiped condo. Great swimming pool for the entire family. Great Beach Bus shuttle service. Plenty of parking.Location was close to the beaches, boat rental services to Crab Island, Harbor Walk, and many great restaurants...Bubba Gump, Back Porch, Fudpuckers, and Pompano Joes...just to name a few.The Air Force Armament Museum was awesome!Destin is awesome. Well definitely be back!

Great place to stay for vacation! Beds were comfy, the view was nice. It overlooked the pool area from a large outside patio. Lots of natural light and great split bedroom floor plan if you want to rent with another couple or kids. Everything was clean and in working order. If we go back we will definitely stay there again! Only thing I would add though is that we stayed 5 days and did not have enough paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent supplies. We had to go to nearby Walmart for extras.

Great view!!! Parking was kinda far and the suite never really got cold... But overall me and my family had a great time and would visit again!!!
