Pros: Great views of the Gulf. Beautiful beach area. Suite was mostly in good condition. Staff was very friendly.Cons: No washer/dryer in unit even though advertisement said every unit has one. No warning about extremely noisy construction in nearby unit and air conditioning unit was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep.Wed come back, but wed ask more questions about the specific unit wed be staying in before booking.

Superb Oceanfront...Everything you need and a great deal!Liked: The 11th floor was just right. Perfect view of the sunrise and sunset from the corner unit. Easy access to the beach. The rooms were clean and we appreciated the well-stocked dishware/kitchen utensils in all the cabinets. We were also pleased with the unlimited complimentary dvd rentals. The staff were always smiling as we walked in the lobby. Overall, SunDestin was super pleasant! Thank you for the wonderful stay.Disliked: The outdoor pool was being serviced during our stay, which was a bummer, but the jacuzzi just steps away from the beach was a winner...we used it every night. Wish housekeeping was provided, but not a huge deal. The beds werent the most comfortable...they were okay. The only other flaw was pretty minor: the screen doors were a bit ripped and the living room one was tough to slide/kept getting stuck. We were notified that the stove/oven was not working a couple days ahead of time, but we received a partial refund for that...thank you for your great customer service, Stevi & Dustin.Stayed in: Room 1112 (2 br 2 ba Non Smoking)

A lot of money with few amenities. No room service, no fresh towels. You have to wash them yourself. No beach chairs, you have to rent them. No hot tub, it was empty. The pools were down for a day or 2, the restaurant and bar look nothing like they picture.

Entrance and rooms are very nice. Love that our room was fills with mirrors on every wall. Felt like a sexy 70s vibe. Only downfall was the inside pool is under construction and that was the main reason we chose this hotel because the weather wasnt the greatest due to a hurricane just hitting Florida the day prior to our arrival. On the website it didnt say anything about the pool being out of order.

The hotel is pretty good, but their beach policy is something else. If you dont rent chairs and umbrella for $40 per day they will ask you to go away from the beach, because you cant use umbrella here. That is called extortion. So, be ready to add $20-$40 per day to your budget.I would give them 4 stars, but it doesnt look like they are going to pay any attention to that issue

Stayed here on vacation right when Hurricane Sally was making landfall, so obviously cant speak to everything the place has to offer because a lot of amenities were shut down because of the storm. The room I stayed in had some minor issues but overall was nice and was well-kept. The indoor pool was our only option while the storm was coming in and was clean and accommodating even though it wasnt heated. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the staff was very friendly; even extended my stay an extra night so I could have at least one day on the beach and didnt have any issues with the booking. The in-house bar and grill was closed during my entire stay unfortunately but Im sure this was only due to the hurricane.

A bit of an older condo, but still a great place to stay. Some rooms have been remodeled and are exquisite while others are pretty drab. Overall has everything you could want in a condo.

Its nice but the big pool is closed for construction and other construction going on in the building and its noisy, it would of been nice if they told us they had construction before booking our vacation with them other than that its cool walking distance to beach and restaurants

We took our 4 and 2 year olds on a family vacation and stayed at Sundestin. Our kids were so excited to play- we sat near the water where our kids could play in the sand. The manager of the resort asked us to move because we were sitting between EMPTY chairs and said paying customers for the chairs/umbrellas get priority (which covered the entire stretch of the beach that Sundestin owner and went back 20 ft from the beach) We could either sit in the water or behind all of the chairs and was not willing to work with us, despite the beach and chairs being empty. He ended up giving us our money back and we left the resort, best decision ever! Plenty of other places on the beach to stay that have tons of rooms for families to sit and play in front of the rented chairs & umbrellas!

Very comfortable, wonderful location, unfortunately the pool closed for a small repair the day we got there and wasnt opening back up til the day we left, but the compensated me for it! was very pleased with the way the management handled it! I would definitely rent from here again !!

I booked our stay for October while here in July when the bar,restaurant and splash pad were open. My family has been coming to this Resort for almost 30 years in that time The building has changed lot they have taken away things like the arcade room and the pool table which was very disappointing. The splash pad was not running. The bar and restaurant are closed. You cant close the bar and the splash pad at the same time.smhWe were just here for a week in July everything was up and running and while here we decided to book another stay for October. This place was once really Amazing but it seems like its going down hill. We were coming back again in June but I think we are gonna look elsewhere.

Room is nice, view is nice. But for this much money I shouldnt have to be told I cant get fresh towels, I have to wash mine. Im paying for a full week, its not my fault I dont have a personal washer and dryer in my room and they want me to use the same 2 towels for 6 days or go spend MORE MONEY to wash towels. I dont mind paying for my personal laundry but not their towels. Also, I understand covid but the gym isnt open, still (fl is in the phase where everything is open) but yet I still have to pay full price.

Our family of 7 had a GREAT time we definitely enjoyed our vacation!!! We loved our rental it was nice and clean as well as updated furniture! The only issue was checking out it would be nice if they had multiple check out times! The jacuzzi was not working for some reason and it would have been nice if the umbrella rental would have late hours 4:30PM is a bit early other than that it was great but my family will be staying elsewhere next time

This isnt a hotel like they say. They make you buy the dish washing detergent paper towels and stuff to wash their towels. The only thing they provide is trash bags. Very rude service at front desk and the sea store. The umbrellas and beach chairs are not worth it considering a whole family can set up their chairs right in front of you and they wont do anything about it. . Also they dont do any room service until you leave. Will not stay here again and Ive been here twice. Please consider other options as there are cheaper and nicer actual hotels with hospitality unlike this one

Had a fantastic time! Fun & Sun with my family...would have given more stars but they drained the pool due to maintenance the day we arrived and filled it the day we left! I understand, but when we said something to the employees the pretty much all said you have a whole huge pool out there...referring to the ocean. Im from Florida...I know the difference between the beach and a pool!! I will give credit to the mgr...she was very apologetic and discounted our room. Ty for that!! Other than this...we loved it!!

So far...so good. Very friendly staff. They have free movie rentals each night and very nice rooms. The restaurant/ bar is not operating on normal hours I guess, because they are barley open. So I suggest bringing your own drinks if your prefer to drink.

Had great vacation with family. White stand, clean beach, great views of beach from living room and balcony. Well equipped kitchen, Pizza hut just across road, walmart a mie away for groceries, would visit again

Great view of the ocean but definitely could use some freshing in the room. Maybe a cover coat of paint and steam clean the tile. I would stay again though to be fair.

This was our first time in Destin, FL and Sundestin Beach Resort did not disappoint. We would definitely stay here again. The staff could not have been more accommodating and nice. Condo 1212 has an amazing gulf front view with a side corner view as well. VERY clean and nicely decorated. The only thing missing, is a washer/dryer in the condo.

Pros: Nice location on the beach. Cons: Only one guest size shampoo bottle for a 3 stay. Have to ask desk for a hair dryer. Umbrella and 2 chairs $40 a day, cant bring your own umbrella.

Everything was clean, and smelled great. Every single unit has a view of the Gulf. Staff was very friendly. Chair and umbrella rentals are a bit pricey.

Upon entering the condo, it had a terrible musty odor. It was tiny with extremely outdated furniture. Nearly every mirror/picture on the walls was either crooked or looked like it was about to fall off the wall. Towels had stains on them. Many of the outlets didn’t work. Those were all minimal issues compared to these last two. 1. The AC never got below 77-had three different people come to “check on it” and all ultimately chalked it up to the unit “being old” .. after a full 24 hours and little to no help, we were finally offered two box fans full of dust that blew softer than a 5 year old scared to blow out a birthday candle. 2. Gnat/flea infestation. We were told we could get a refund for the remaining two nights (we didn’t even call about them the first night because we had already dealt with enough) but only if we checked out immediately. They also offered us another smaller condo that would not accommodate our party, several miles down the road at a different property but we would not get a refund if we took that. We decided to stay instead of driving 5 hours home after being there for less than 24 hours at this point. After spending entirely too much of our vacation on the phone with customer service about all of the issues, we are getting two of our three nights refunded. Outside of the condo, the beach was nice and the chair guys were super friendly. Can’t say the same for security or the beach/bar bartenders. The hot tub was also drained the entire time we were there. Maintenance chose to try to vacuum and clean the elevators at the highest volume times like during check in and check out which made for crazy wait times. All in all, I would never stay here again and would certainly deter anyone else from ever staying. Even after finally getting some type of refund, basically everyone we talked to could have cared less about the awful experience we had.

Both units Ive stayed in have been great. The location is perfect, views are incredible and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the only place Ill stay in Destin.

I stayed in unit 1210, which was on the 12th floor, and had the most perfect view of the beach. The balcony had 2 very comfortable chairs and a table along with 2 stools and an awesome towel rack connected to the wall which became very helpful when needing to air dry beach towels.The condo was very clean and truly was a home away from home. They provided plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. They had a small bar of hand soap for each bathroom and one hotel sized shampoo and conditioner. They provided 2 extra rolls of toilet paper on top of the full rolls in each bathroom.The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans you need to cook. They provided a sponge, dish soap, 2 packages of dish detergent, and a package of laundry detergent, as well as one roll of paper towels. The freezer had an ice maker. Also, the washer and dryer were located right across the hall and cost $2.00 to use.I was impressed with the cleaning and sanitizing in the building inside and outside. They even sanitized the beach chairs after they were set up every morning. They provide umbrellas and chairs for $45.00 a day but had the option to rent just an umbrella for $20.00 a day, which were packed up at 5:00pm daily. You can bring your own chairs and canopy/tent, but they will not allow you to use your own umbrella.The only negative to this building, and no fault to the owner of the condo, are the very thin walls. I heard everything from beside me, above me, and in the hallway. But it never really disturbed my sleep because I was so tired from being out in the sun all day that I slept just fine. All in all this unit was awesome and I would most definitely stay there again.

Our stay was awesome. We had a room with a coastal view. Make sure you get a room with a view because it’s really gorgeous! The rooms definitely have a luxury feel to them. At least room 1715! I’d recommend booking last minute to get a good deal. It is very close to chickfila and Waffle House. Alvins island is within walking distance. The elevators move very fast and you can literally go from your room to the shore of the gulf in 60 seconds no matter where you are in the building. The on site bar and restaurant are pricy, really wouldn’t recommend eating there towards their closing hours as much of the menu is unavailable, and pretty pricey for the quality (we had cheeseburgers and one drink and it was $42, but that included tip) we decided to tip the bartender Faith extra because she was the bomb. She’s super funny and can recommend good restaurants. Also my drink she made me was dope. She was so sarcastic in the best way possible, I get The feeling she has a great sense for people because she interacted with everyone so well! But the craft beer selection and cocktails are awesome! Literally they have a server come to the beach to take your order. $10 including tax and 20% tip to have a drink brought to me right to my beach chair, what a steal! The pools are nice, I’d recommend avoiding them during the day as that’s where families With lots of small children seem to congregate. I’d say save on the beach chairs they sell on site and go get the $10 ones from Alvins Island! But overall awesome stay!

Been here one day. The water is off and no one informed us ahead of time. The bar and restaurant is closed. No seats by the pool. You have to rent a chair to sit by the ocean. Terrible . Was told I would have an ocean view. Got a view of parking lot.

No place is perfect but overall a great place to get away and peace of mind the staff was very friendly it’s just a whole VIBE money well spent and I will be back

They charge 10 dollars for each room key not returned. Fyi...they ask if you will start some of the room cleaning . The beach chairs are expensive. Wouldnt stay again

The worst hotel ever! We booked the room via third party and we got something else. When we complained about it they said u need to get the confirmation from third party for that! We spent 4hours to fix that and when finally they agreed to give the confirmation, Sundestin disagreed! Such big scammers they should have the guts to say that on face rather playing such kiddish games! Shame u guys! The worst experience ever during such pandemic times...worst customer service!

This place is awesome. They lost a star because the bed is super hard and they charge for towels or you can pay to wash them yourself. Those two things bring down the score. Otherwise, they have Netflix and Hulu plus Samsung TV for winding down after a day on the beach. I love the apartment like set up where they even give you most, if not all of all the tools needed for cooking in the kitchen. (Pots, pans, cutting board, can opener etc and utensils)

Fantastic...right on the sand, no crossing streets, Cafe/bar, 5 gas grills, 2 pools, 1heated, splash pad...it doesnt get any better

Good location corner unit. Tile was broken was coming off the floor and had tape keeping it together was covered with a rug. There were good restaurants around. The unit was nice but the property is old..pool small not much to do there. Beach was nice. Right on the water

Nice hotel with no public beach access so others cant sneak into your beach area and crowd it like at other places. Pools and bars and mostly friendly staff. Our shower head made a God-awful humming sound and the woman working the front desk was very rude when we asked about extra towels. All in all, not a terrible place.

We had a beach front hotel. 1 Tom long size bed, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, 2 bunk beds built into the wall in the hallway, 2 couches in the living room one of them was a pull out couch. Lots of towels, some soap and shampoo. Fully equipped kitchen. There was no coffee packets or suffer creamer or tea packets. There is no free breakfast in the morning. The resort does have a restaurant, bar and gift shop. Staff is friendly, the beach is wonderful. Clean clear water and white sand. They charge $30+ if you want to use their beach chairs and umbrellas. So I would being your own. There is a few restaurants across from the resort and a tourist gift store with lots of great stuff. Also insta cart will deliver groceries to your room. Its a nice resort.

This resort was amazing. The rooms were definitely impressive, with full kitchens (fully stocked with dishes and cookware). The beachview and balconies were breathtaking. We were literally on the beach-- walk downstairs and onto the beach. They had indoor/outdoor pools and splash pads for my little ones. The rooms were spacious and the bunk beds were an awesome touch. My family and I had an amazing time and we will most certainly be back.

Hotel is nice. The staff have been great so far. The rosada restaurant food was okay but nothing special. Rooms are cold and the kids section could use an improvement.

Very nice resort located right on the beach. Staff was ok, some were more pleasant then others. The bartender was very unkempt and jittery he didnt know any drink recipes and poured out several failed attempts before serving the correct drinks. He also grabbed all garnishments and straws with his bare hands, while taking payments. Our condo was great, oceanfront view. Only complaint is the master bathroom sink had a very slow drain.

We spent Monday thru Friday in Unit 511. The building is good, the room we were in is independently owned and not managed by Sundestin. We had very minor issues with the cleaning of the room before we checked in. Like there was a hair in the shower and someones old hair comb in one of the bunk beds . But really it wasnt a big deal. Every other part of the room was clean and nice. Everyone from the staff to the other guests was very nice and helpful. We would definitely go back and stay here again.

Very good service, beach, pool, lobby and elevators were clean. The Destin beachbeaches are great, the crystal clear water and the white sand that doesnt get hot are perfect for the whole family.

It was a great experience at the Sun Destin beach resort. The only issue is we thought we ordered a full view of the sea and was told it would be a full view. The resort stated the sea view was only a coastline view (partial view) of the sea. The resort advised we should have chosen a gulf view but it was not available at the time of purchase in September and we thought we were receiving the gulf view but was misinformed. We spoke to Hotels.com and they provided us with a 200.00 coupon toward our next stay. Overall, it was still a great resort and would go back again.The resort was close to restaurants, mall and the beach. I would recommend the resort but Hotels.com website should describe the rooms better.

Paid extremely expensive amount of money to not be able to do anything. This is a vacation rental resort where you go to have fun but could not have fun. Smoking is only allowed downstairs and their are personal balconies which are made useless. Security is good if you are looking for someone to ruin your day. I imagine this is not a place for younger people. Might be wonderful for old people who want to sit inside and do nothing. If I wanted to do nothing I would have stayed home.

I will give my honest opinion while trying not to slam them too bad.When you go on vacation and pay good money to go on vacation, theres a level of expectation that you have. Well Sundestin Resort honestly did not come close to my expectation of a beach resort. The facility itself is old and looks that way. Its in definite need of updating.We stayed the week of September 13th, 2020. During that week, Hurricane Sally decided to make an appearance. Fully knowing the storm was on its way, we still decided to go being as we could not get a refund. We were determined to make the best of what was to come.No mask policy at all. Most guests did not wear a mask in the public areas.Starting with check-in, the building had a unique smell. Musty and old. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and pleasant. He was very helpful and courteous. He told us the staff had a mask policy but not the guest. *Note: he did wear a mask all week. Checked in and went up to our floor on the the 18th floor. Unit 1812 to be exact. A corner unit with a great view. Immediately upon packing our bags, we noticed a nice sized hole in the wall that shouldve been noticed by the cleaning crew or whoever conducts regular inspections of the unit. The chair that was in front of the hole was positioned as if it was concealing the hole. Speaking of the chair, it also had a hole/burn on it. See pictures that Ive attached! I went to the front desk and made them aware so that I would accrue any damage fee on my credit card. The lady at the front desk (who was not wearing a mask nor did she at anytime during the week) proceeds to tell me that it was ok and I will not be charged. I requested it in writing which seemed to anger her. I was not relying on her word alone. It took about an hour but eventually, I got an email from Sundestin saying I was not responsible for the damage. Our first night we also found out just how hard the bed was in the main bedroom. I wouldnt call it firm at all. It was more like sleeping on plywood and you could feel the springs in the mattress. The owner should definitely consider upgrading the bed in the main bedroom. The 2 twin sized mattresses in the second bedroom were nice though but what adult sleeps on a twin sized bed?Day 2 and the Hurricane moves in. Although its completely no fault of Sundestin, we lost electricity briefly. Id say for about 30 minutes or so. When the power came back on, the A/C unit decided to quit. I called the front desk and they had someone come take a look at it immediately. Although the maintenance staff couldnt fix it, they did respond very quickly to address it. We were without A/C for a day and half before they could properly get it to work. You can imagine how hot it got in our room being on the very top floor without A/C. 81 degrees to be exact but we opened the doors which provided some relief.The storm passed after about 2 days and we were finally able to hit the beach. It was nice and relaxing. A bit over crowded due to the 2 other resorts on both sides being private so everyone from the Sundestin was squeezed into a small area. You can imagine that after being cooped up for 2-3 during the storm, everyone was ready for some sun!Heres a list of other things that I documented. Some may be minor to you but this is what I noted:-1 cooking skillet in the kitchen (multiple pots though) Have you ever cooked scrambled eggs in a pot? I did!-The main entry door sticks and was hard to open and close-Main bedroom could use a ceiling fan as it got hot even when the A/C was working-Dead batteries in the TV remote. I had to go to Walmart to buy my own. I was nice enough to leave them for the next person.-Ceiling fan in the main living area only had 1 speed. Low! Probably needs to be replaced-water leaked inside during the storm. This is when I discovered the moldy curtains (see pics)Based on my stay at Sundestin, I would NOT recommend this place.

Staff was rude, check-in was late which was very upsetting after driving 11 hours and supposed to be in a room by 4pm. Shower was broke in the room which flooded the floor and had to wait until the following day to get it fixed. Also, no where did it say that you could not use your own beach umbrella. Had I known this would not have stayed here at all. Our room 303 did not have its own internet and had to try and share from another room which didnt work half the time. Worst place Ive stayed for Vacation. Will definitely never be back.

I have seen better but good cheap choice

We can all find the negatives but I wanted to remain positive and well it was a place to get some sleep and For the life of me dont understand why the mattress bed and pillows were just uncomfortable and the bottom of bed was hanging torn. The towels were stained, its just sad. I guess I expected more for the money and condos but unfortunately we will not be staying there ever again. Just fyi bring own towels, coffee filters, coffee and although it states Keurig it was a Mr Coffee regular coffee maker. I came prepared with k cups called down to front desk and told I could go to the store. Not very nice. I took before and after pics just in case because this particular condo was not up to date at all. Wish I could say anything positive but...only positive was the area, adventures, and restaurants. Needless to say we did not spend much time in the condo.

Hotel is outdated and not once did housekeeping offer to clean the room the entire 6 days! Booked through Expedia and I’m sure we got the worst room they had and they refused to trade it even though they had plenty of rooms available! The best part was the proximity of the beautiful clean beach. Would choose a different hotel next time.

Absolutely worse place I have ever stayed in for a vacation. Upon arrival, we were put into a condo with a terrible old bleach smell, and soon enough, we realized our condo was infested with gnats. We were swatting flies out of our faces all throughout the first night, while also dealing with the fact that our AC would not go below 77 degrees. When maintenance tried to “assess” the situation 3 times throughout the day, they came to the conclusion that it is just an old unit, and stuck us with stand up fans to get us through the next three nights. When we tried to get a refund for our stay, VACASA was not even the least bit accommodating. They didn’t even seem to care to hear about our issues and said the best they can do is refund the next two UNUSED nights of our vacation. After driving 6 hours, the last thing we wanted to do was leave after one night. All in all, NEVER book through Vacasa, and do not stay here because the place is super outdated and your AC unit is probably 20 years old. Vacasa will also screw you over, and they will not accommodate you.

Good balcony view. However, the place was super outdated, felt musty, and had mold in various places. The dishwasher was broken and had a pool of water sitting at the bottom that eventually spilled out all over the kitchen floor. The bed sheets and pillows were super uncomfortable. Would not stay again.

Me and my family have stayed here several times and weve always loved it and never had a problem. Access to rhe beach directly from the place, an outdoor pool, indoor pool and a little splash pad as well as little showers to spray the sand off of you. Also they have a rental place where you can rent an umbrella and chairs. Also free dvd rentals if you have time for that. They also have a restaurant inside which has really good food and a small gift shop as well as a small gym, arcade area and a massage area if you wanted to schedule one of those.

The worst experience I have ever had in Florida. Staying at 1801 at sun Destin and it’s a shame that the best they can do to accommodate people here is fixing the Ac unit multiple times and then doing maintenance in our room at 10:30 at night. There were gnats every where and had to sleep in a unit that was 78 degrees for 3 nights. The best they could help us with was relocating to a unit in a different part of Florida that was significantly smaller and would not refund any money. We had to sit on the phone multiple times for hours. The maintenance team here does a great job but I can’t believe the horrible costumer service given by VACASA. I will never suggest this booking agency again and will never stay at the sun destin again after this experience. Especially being someone who has been to Florida multiple times, it’s a shame to have an experience where they are doing work on the VERY condo you are staying in as you are trying to have a vacation.

The space of the rooms is nice. However it smelled very musty. Seems to need a few updates. The room we got was supposed to be an ocean view instead we faced buildings and had to go to another corner of the room to get somewhat sight of the ocean. The property in general was a bit outdated.

Prime location, beach front resort! I am from here, so when I came back for a visit I knew where I wanted to stay! The views and amenities are amazing! Reasonable rates! Pics are from the balcony.

The view was incredible! The shower was nice, the furniture decent. They had games, which my daughter loved. With that said, the bed squeaked terribly, the bathroom smelled like urine, the place wasnt squeaky clean, doors were old and noisy, construction was going on above us during the day, one day for 3-4 hours they were testing the fire alarms....very inconvenient and scared my daughter, foot wash off not connected by the beach exit the first 2 days of our trip, kitchen amenities were lacking. Hard to relax when listening to a jack hammer every day.

Currently staying. Checked in sunday and leaving Thursday. The staff is very helpful. To be honest theres always room for improvements. For me and my girl, our vacation has been wonderful. Walks on the beach, sitting in the hot tub, the pizza place across the street is amazing, everyone has been so friendly and helpful. Free movies, great views, hot water, two toilets and sinks, two dressers, 3 closets and they even have real dishes....how cool! Love this! Would definitely recommend this condo.

This resort needs a remodel. It smelled for old and musty. The condo its self was very outdated. I would not go back.

In an excellent location, our condo (1 bedroom for three people with a sleeper sofa) was very spacious and clean. We were in room 1003, which had an amazing view of the ocean. The staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint is that the mattresses are rather uncomfortable. Especially the sleeper sofa, which had a bar in the middle and a very thin mattress. Maybe bring an inflatable mattress to use on top. Honestly for the price this place isnt bad at all. I was pretty impressed.

Room 104, the place is full of mold the curtains covering the sliding door is so filthy we wouldn’t touch them and the same with the couch and chair coverings we used towels to sit on, the railing along the top bunk was about to fall off so we had to pull out the bed from the couch that also was disgusting. They wouldn’t put us in another room but sent maintenance to try to cover up some of the mold in the bathroom. The mold is so bad it is under the cabinets in the kitchen where the cookware is. We paid a huge price to be on the bottom floor and to have a room as filthy as this we will not be back.

Great place to spend your vacation! Beautiful beach, great staff, currently renovating certain areas on site, but nothing seriously inconvenient. Great value. Highly recommended.

Booking the right place for a vacation can be pretty daunting but its safe to say I found our go-to place for future visits to Destin, FL.Front desk associates - friendly & informativeThe room - tidy, fully stocked with dishes & cookware, spacious & a very strong AC.Amenities - youd need a solid 4 days to try and use them allThe WiFi was the only shortcoming in my book. I tried limiting my use of connectivity to begin with, however my cell service was faster anyways.The hot spots are all a short drive from the abundance of resorts along the shore so everything is within reach. The walk to the beach is seconds away. The guys working the umbrella/chair rental service were awesome.The only thing to be mindful of with this type of resort is to keep in mind its not a hotel, so there are no housekeepers. I suppose this is what contributed to the deal we got on the room. It certainly isnt a detractor for me.

Room 206 is in excellent condition!! We stayed there for a week and were very comfortable. The condos are beachfront so excellent location as far as that goes.I dont have much good to say about the staff or food at Sundestin. We had a very rough first day until we rented a car and went and bought groceries and did our own cooking or drove away from the resort for dinner.If you want a very quiet family vacation in a small town and will be independent and take care of yourself, this is the place to go!

As soon as I walked in our room there was a roach crawling down the wall, could not get the living room TV to work and the door to the fire extinguisher was locked. The front desk made me feel stupid when expressing my concerns. I had to call for a can opener because the ones we had in the room would absolutely not work. They told me house keeping was gone for the day and would be in the morning so I had to go purchase one. They never brought us one. The air conditioning was very poor. I expressed several concerns and the fact that I was really disappointed and they just dismissed me. I spent a lot of money to have thanksgiving on the beach and a mini vacation that turned into a big disappointment.

Wish they practiced more social distancing protocols. Thats why I am given 4 stars!

Good thing:- Location - 5 Stars, and that is allBad things:- It is not a hotel. They do not clean your room in a daily basis. 1 Star.- Maintenance is terrible. See the pictures. Bed board with some nails showing up. Fungus in the ceiling. Bad painting. 1 Star.- Shower is 5 ft tall. So, if you are higher than that you know what you have to do. 1 Star.- Locker is 20 years old. 3 Stars.- Hotel charges you 40 dollars for the umbrella and 2 chairs. And you cannot bring yours because an accident happened 25 years ago there. Looks like a sell up to me. 1 Star.FINAL SCORE: 2 Stars

For the price It was OK. Do not go through a 3rd party, like Expedia, when making reservations. The resort itself treats you like a second class customer. Any requested changes are met with destain by Expedia Customer Service and virtually no assistance is provided by resort staff. TVs were initially unusable as was the phone. Not enough towels are provided. The staff at the bar and grill, Rosadas, were extremely friendly and a pleasure to interact with, refreshingly efficient.

This is a great resort but if you stay check out the rooms first. Each room for the most part is owned separately so the owners standards are all different. We stayed in 2 rooms and pride of ownership varied between rooms. The resort itself is great and the view amazing. The beach with the white sand is a true experience.....You will love it

Great place. There are tons of things to do. This is a great place for familys. Perry at the front desk was a huge help. He made sure every day that everything was going right. The splash pad outside for kids is a great change from the regular pool,which there are two pools one indoors and one out. On the Beach there are chairs and umbrellas to rent which have to be rented once you get there.(can not be prebooked) You can rent them for one or mutiple days to full weeks. The prices are not bad and they reserve them with a tag and your name so they are easy to find. The guys on the beach renting stuff a very helpful too. There is a restaurant / bar in the building it is Mexican food with some American things for the kids. They have a wait staff that comes to the beach (seasonally) to serve you drinks or food. With the property centrally located on the destin shore line it is easy to walk to a lot of places. There are many more things we did not have time to do on our trip. My whole family cant wait to go back and try them.For referance: The room in the picture is 1512 it is a 2 bed room condo. (With an amazing view)

The resort is absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, clean, and has very friendly staff! Having beach access was amazing and my boyfriend and I got to take romantic moonlit walks on the beach at night, which was a huge bonus! I would totally recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quality condo in Destin! We cant wait to go back next time!

Very nice resort on the beach. No need to drive anywhere after parking; eateries and stores are all in walking distance.

3rd time staying here and we love it. Location is great, right on the beach and close to everything. Clean units and friendly staff, parking gets a bit tricky at night but other than that we will be coming back again. This is the view from our deck!

The unit needs a thorough cleaning, especially the bathrooms and bedroom. Carpet in bedroom was dirty as well as the bathroom floors and toilets. Also, updating of bathrooms....very old fashioned. Unit did not look anything that we thought we were renting. Bedroom was so small. No room for night tables....shelves in walls to put night time essentials. Problem with tv last 2 days. However, maintenance did come promptly to fix, although tv didnt work that same night after coming home from dinner.On the plus side, the view from the balcony was beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with all essentials. Kitchen best room in condo. You could tell this unit, 1410, had a lot of use and needs certain TLC.

Fantastic location near the beach. Our unit was beautiful. Nice outdoor and indoor pools and spa, plus beachside service for food and drinks.
