The condo was spacious enough for two kids and 2 adults. However if you are coming for a beach vacation, this is not the place to stay as you have to drive to the beach and to the village. Once we got in the condo, there were flies and ants in the kitchen and in the bedroom and the air conditioner vents leaked water. Our balcony faced the bay but also had views of the dumpsters. Will not be staying here again.

Our stay was short but we definitely enjoyed it. The beds were so comfortable! We wished that we had a balcony to sit on and the trees in the back werent blocking the beach view but everything else was good.

I have to admit that its close to everything and they have great amenities. Front desk and other staff members are helpful and professional.My issue is that I locked my key in the room and there was No one available to let me in. I called security who stated that they called maintenance. I sat waiting for 1/2 hr and called security again. They stated that it was all they could do.What kind of a resort leaves clients trapped outside their units?Very irresponsible and unprofessional.It was hot in the lobby while w airing.I am so disappointed with them.Did I mention that my unit was neat and clean? Everything except being there for the cust9.Im still waiting, an HR later.

This place is is comfortable, convenient, and beautiful. The staff at the front desk was so warm and kind. The rooms were comfortable and the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. Being here made me dream about owning here one day.

This company doesn’t care about its customers. I told them husband tested positive positive for COVID and our reservation is for 10/16-10/18 they would not give me a refund. ThereforI will have to come there and possibly expose other. They don’t care about other customers. I’ve emailed the health department and the news is next. I’m trying to keep everyone safe so please give me a full refund. Expedia contacted them as well since it was placed through them. They would not allow them to speak to her. Expedia did all they could to prevent a potential lawsuit from a customers who may find out. I’m sorry will find out.

The property was great! The views were amazing! The only thing is we brought our service dog and the other guest seemed to have a problem with it. So just don’t bring your dogs and everything will be great!

I just wanted to say I am absolutely AMAZED that I had a reservation booked for a room on September 17th-20th. *yes it was a noncancellation* booking!!!!!!However we drove 4 hours and 30 minutes before we were to arrive the whole coast was shut down due to *HURRICANE IVAN.I called and cancelled because the beach was closed and the pools at the hotel were also closed everyone was leaving due to the storm!! The hotel said they would keep one night and refund the rest!!!!because no one could have planned for a natural disaster right!!! Now I get an Email staying there keeping the 600$ and not refunding anything!!! Not a care in the world about can we make another reservation or how it affected us also not being able to go on vacation. I am out of work due to COVID and I saved enough money to take my family to this resort and was shown this kind of indecency!!!!! I hope that everyone reads this and can see how unfair life can be and how I greatful people can be to be treated as a number rather than a human!!!!!So please reconsider taking your $$$$ and time to this location for family fun.... I pray that this will help you make a better decision on where you want to stay and pay!!! God bless those who have no compassion!!!!️

Great location and good amenities to pools and beaches. Great shopping and food nearby in the Wharf.

I always have a relaxing time here.

We have stayed at numerous Wyndham owned or affiliate resorts and this one has been our least favorite experience. Each room here is supposed to have a balcony. Pictures added of our balcony and view. The room we have sleeps six but has a single restroom. The dishwasher was loud enough to wake the dead. I will not stay here again. It is not run down but in our experiences with Wyndham it is seriously lacking. The property around it is nice and well kept however. There are fresh water ponds to fish in all around the property.

I had to turn the jucizzi tub on and off with the breaker box. There is no hot tub at the pool and you have to walk a block away to get to the pool.

10am checkout is too early, imo. The lady at front desk (3-15 8:25am) needs an attitude adjustment. Everything else was great. The price & amenities were A+. Thank you.

Very nice place. Very comfortable. All the amenities of home. The only downside is the darn construction that starts at 7 in the morning making very loud noises when you are trying to relax on vacation. It is the loudest place I have ever stayed at. Came back year later, still have construction at 730 in the morning! But rooms are very clean. Staff was very cordial. Dishwasher in room. Dishes like you were staying at home. The cutest salt and pepper shakers ever! Wonderful channel selection on TV. TV in both bedrooms plus den area. Pool is very nice. Just overall a good place.

Nice place to stay

The front desk was not helpful with a dispute we had with the resort and waited until 1hour and a half later after I and my wife was stressed out they finally mentioned they fixed the problem. The rooms are nice but customer service was HORRIBLE.

The Bay Club of Sandestin is beautiful. Our condo was clean and comfortable and we had a very nice stay. Baytowne Wharf is just a few minute drive and there is lots of dining and entertainment there as well as beautiful views of the bay and marina. I was a little disappointed in the front desk staff. I thought they could have been better informed and I wish they had listened more than they talked. The biggest disappointment was the sunset Bay Cafe. We were seated promptly but in 10 minutes we were not greeted by our server nor even offered any water. It was like we were invisible. So we left. I caution you to drive under the speed limit. There is a lot of security on property and they are very strict about the speed limits. We we continually saw drivers pulled over getting tickets

For the money, cause it wasnt cheap to stay here... we are not impressed. We paid for a 2 bed 2 bath. They put us (6 people) in a 2 bed 1 bath, what a nightmare. The front desk girls were rude when i spoke to them about it, and wouldnt even look into it. The unit was dirty, dated, run down and tiny. The patios are a joke! Not to mention the stupid trucks running outside our room all hours. We will NEVER be back to Bay Club again. Just disappointed.

The Place was in a great area but the place itself was dated. Also getting around on Uber or lift very hard.

Deceiving appearance, place smelled bad, filthy, laundry not in rooms only on certa9n floors, the gym was a joke, the second gym costed 15bucks per person per day

We had the best time. The condo was on the 4 th fl. Very quiet, comfy and clean. The condo faced the parking lot, but we weren’t there to sit. The Landscaping crew where there early and the grounds were beautiful. The cafe had the best food and friendly staff. The pool was nice, clean and beautiful. Was disappointed that beverages weren’t allowed at the pool as the cafe closed at 2 p.m. Overall a wonderful time!

Everything about this resort is TOP NOTCH! There are over 20 restaurants spread out on 40+ acres of bays, bayous, and beaches. Youll enjoy fireworks shows, miniature golf as well as huge scenic courses, magic shows, pools, and hot tubs. The staff is wonderful too! Youll be happy you stayed here!

Staying here with family. The time share feels a little dated structure wise. Meaning they have done a good job keeping bathrooms up to date, but the hallways feel like secret caves under the White House. Area is nice and the views are good.

This is our second year in a row visiting, and weve really enjoyed it! The little ponds along the main drive are gorgeous and its so relaxing to stroll in the evenings. There are bikes to rent as well as jet skis, paddle boards, etc. The other side of the resort does have a beach access, however we prefer to drive to a public access as its less crowded and isnt just a sea of the rental chairs and umbrellas set out. Great vacation spot for relaxing!

Although the resort owns property up to the beach, the actual rooms are a half mile away across a busy road so you have to drive there. They have a shutttle that runs every 35 minutes, which isn’t convenient. Also, they don’t have the usual free breakfast or daily room cleaning of an ordinary hotel. They’re more of a long term stay lodge. The full kitchens were nice and you can do laundry if you bring detergent. The rooms are quite spacious. Everything is very old and waiting for renovation.

Beautiful resort with outside balconys. Its a golf resort and the ground are beatiful. They have mini busses that take you everywhere to shopping malls and restraint everything was amazing.

Great time at Bay Club... Great to be able to crossover US98 and go to Oceanside and get right to the beach.. Food and drinks at the Beach House were delicious especially the burger and Nick our server was super friendly... I definitely look forward to staying again...it would be nice if Bay Club had more family activities onsite but overall worth the stay... especially if you can get a two bedroom suite.

This place is beautiful for Christmas. One bedroom deluxe so small, I couldnt believe it. Everyone of the staff friendly and ready to go out of their way for you.

The resort is part of a larger gated community called Sandestin which has tons of amenities (pools, shopping areas, marina, beach, golf, walking trails, etc.). If you are going to get there later than 5pm or so I recommend giving them a call so they can walk you through the after hours check-in process.

What a fun place for a family vacation! Beaches, pools, bike, jet ski, canoe and scooter rentals and planned entertainment for every day of the week. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Awesome place to vacation

The room and all the amenities were very clean. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help out. We stayed in unit 300. The resort was conveniently located to local restaurants and outlet shopping.Our view was the rooftop of the kitchen area. We heard EVERY delivery truck from midnight until 7 in the morning. We could not sit on the balcony due to the smell of the dumpsters behind the kitchen. We notified the staff about our concern and they said they have heard that before, but there was nothing they could do about it. We were very disappointed, we will not stay here again.

Loved this place but you need a car

It was a nice place. We woke up to the carpet being wet and when we tried to alert maintenance, they would not open the door and told me “We’re busy.” We ended up leaving for the day and left a vm. They had replaced the dishwasher with the wrong part and had to run the carpet blowers all day to dry. Hubby has allergies and is still struggling with the side effects two days later.

One of my favorite spots for vacation. The Tram service is a great plus that can get you most anywhere on the resort (as well as the beach). The golf course is beautiful and while I dont golf, it makes for scenic views for morning or afternoon walks or runs.

Rooms are a bit small. Nice bathroom. Very close to the beach. Provides shuttle service. Restaurants close by.

The place itself is nice. But, very misleading. It says that its a beachfront property which it isnt. The beach is located approximately two miles across the highway. I was told that my condo was bayview which it wasnt. My balcony is in an alleyway and if you look hard enough to the left you could see a piece of the bay. The worst is Sarah. Shes at the front desk claiming to be the manager. When I say HORRIBLE! I MEAN HORRIBLE! Her customer service is the worst Ive ever experienced traveling! Mercy forbid you ask a question. She gets even worst. To the point where I had to stop talking to her and wait for the other front desk personnel to finish with her guest before I found myself in trouble. Thats who should be the manager. Kimber the Tram driver was AWESOME! I also heard great things about Joe the driver. Get rid of Sarah and be more specific about the location and this place would be PHENOMENAL!

There is nothing new about this place! We always exchange our Hyatt points for the Embark on the same grounds, but couldnt get a reservation. So we took a chance on this place, and it was worse than expected. This is definitely a flashback to the 90s with no updates.The kitchen was OLD. The bathroom was OLD-with vanity bottom base peeling apart! The front desk manager was rude and condescending. She must hate her job. There is no housekeeping for the week, except for towel exchange. How do you have 5 people, in a 2B/1B condo and not have housekeeping? We will never book at Bay Club.

This place is not the ritz, but it is very nice and has many amenities. Its location is right in the middle of one of the nicest golf / beach resorts in Destin. If you are looking to stay in a 5 star resort at a 4 star price this is your ticket.

Scenery and service were good. Breakfast was terrible. The worst tasting gluten free pancakes, old bacon and mediocre eggs. I read a lot of praising reviews and was completely disappointed.

Terrible cannot say enough... We upgraded to a condo instead of a resort. Thought we would get a better experiance. Nothing could be further from the truth. First thing the gateman was very rude and not helpful on directing us which way to check in. Check in was a 45min process. When we arrived at our condo it was extremely out dated with goodwill furniture. My wife could not sleep on our bed because the mattess felt like a boxspring. Next there was no wifi for our unit. As a father to 3 teenage girls that was a nightmare. Then we didnt have a key to the pool. After 2 hrs on hold trying to get help from the front desk, i walked a half mile to the check in desk. They apparently didnt have a key and didnt know where one was. A manager named Bree finally found a key and had it delivered to our unit. Finally on our last day the a/c went out on our unit. After 3 hrs of no air the front desk finally found us another unit. They didnt apologize for any inconveniance or offer us any reimbirsement for our troubles. All we got was rude service. I would never recomend this resort. We have stayed at many places in Florida but this one has been the worst.

I’ve been here about 5 hrs and so far things aren’t good! The room was dirty (someone left their nasty sock in the 2nd bedeoom), there is no remote in the main bedroom and there is a party going on above me!! Both their music and conversion is loud enough that I can clearly hear every word...it’s currenrly 12:40 am. It’s gong to be a LONG week and if it’s like this all week I will NEVER be back!!!

Came to visit family for Christmas, they don’t allow motorcycles through the gate. Don’t really even want to be here anymore because of it.

It was okay a very pretty place but everything was extremely spread out the only way to get to different areas and attractions was the shuttle and there was no way to get in touch with the shuttle directly arches understand where different bus stops were are what time the shuttle would appear or not appear

I love the Sandestin resort area. With the bike paths, all of the water, and the Baytowne Wharf, this is an awesomely relaxing place.

Nice Beach style condos situated inside Baytown Village of Sandestin, complete with Golf Courses and lots of nearby shopping and food options. Theres even a movie theater within walking distance.
