Cute little beach bungalow. Bedroom had King bed and twin bunk bed in the hall, shared bathroom and sleeper sofa in the living area. Small kitchen table and kitchenette area. Room was comfortable and clean. No washer and dryer in the unit but our unit was directly across from us. Most units overlook the pool and there are grills available for use. Very cozy atmosphere. Staff was kind and courteous. The only downside is the push to attend a presentation

The cottages are so charming and very nicely decorated. The carpeting is the only thing I would change. The kitchen had everything we needed to fully prepare meals. The pool is nice and heated, but a little small. Would be great if there was a hot tub! It was nice to have the laundry facility as well. The staff at the cottages were extremely nice and helpful as well. The beach access is just across the street. I was initially a little put off by having to cross the street but once there I saw it as no issue at all. There are hundreds of other resorts in the second row so there are crosswalks everywhere and traffic is used to people crossing all hours of the day. I was very happy with my accommodations and hope to be able to visit again!

If your an owner the staff is pushy about doing a meeting. Once past that, the units could be cleaner. Dust on the walls of the unit and mold and mildew in the grout in the bathroom. All that and its still better to have this unit than the nicest hotel room.The kitchenette is functional and the fridge is accommodating. The bed is super plush. Flat screen tvs and Cox cable is a nice ending to a sun filled day at the private beach just a few steps away across the street.

This location is fantastic. It doesnt feel like staying at a hotel and the location is beautiful. A short walk across the street gives you beach access. Restaurant is bountiful and all within walking distance. I would rather stay at this location again with my family then the fancier hotels nearby.

Very thin walls. Unit was clean and very comfortable. However it does have thin walls. A couple leaving at 4am in the unit above me were very loud when getting ready to leave. This was not Wyndham fault. Just that the walls were thin. The pool was very nice and the back door to my cottage let me out right at the pool. Requesting a first floor cottage when reserving helps with this.

Absolutely beautiful place,peaceful, across the street from beach. On the Gulf Coast, blue water, white sand. Kinda out a few miles from down town Destin Fl. I’m wanting to go back asap, lol. The cottages are very nice with a master bedroom with king bed, decent size bathroom, bunk beds, living room, kitchen, dining area, small patio/porch, balcony upstairs, 2 units, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, separate entrance to each, perfect for 2 families vacationing together with separate doors and separate keycard entrance to each. Fully furnished with everything you need except for food and clothing. Check it out and I promise y’all will be impressed. Nice private community type resort, kidney shaped heated pool, free laundry room for guests if you don’t want one that has a w/d inside of unit. Bar on same property but isn’t part of Wyndham Resort with awesome people, Kenny D’s beach bar. Awesome place I have been to a few different Wyndham resorts and this one is my favorite so far. Check it out.

This is a great place to go for a family beach getaway. The property is smaller, which makes it easier for families to get around without having to worry about crowds and elevators; but, make sure to ask for a first floor if traveling with little ones. It is right across the street from the beach which is convenient to walk back and forth to the rooms as needed. The service is great too!

Very nice and quiet place to vacation. The Wyndham staff were courteous and caring. A resort we felt like we could stay for long periods if it were possible. Only reason for the 4 star would be due to unloading accessibility to the unit.

When we first bought in with Wyndham, on our way back from signing papers, we passed these cottages and immediately said we wanted to stay there some time!!! Finally we were able to book here, since they are so popular, theyre hard to get sometimes!! We were in an upstairs unit, had a great poolside view off of our balcony. Nicely appointed unit as usual with Wyndham, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc all included along with the starters of dish soap, coffee, etc. Very conveniently located with some great restaurant/bars right beside/across the street/nearby...as well as very easy access to the beach directly across the street. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Spacious, clean and amazing. If you own Wyndham timeshare this is a must every year. If you are renting, its worth the affordable cash price. There are at least 3 popular restaurants within short walking distance also like captain Daves (across the street) which is great seafood, and the Crab Trap down the road which as it happens is also a tourist trap. Ha! All in all we love the beachstreet cottages because we get more privacy and space for the same price as a hotel or big resort. Full kitchen amenities a big huge plus! Home away from home!!!

Excellent stay in a perfect location. Its literally steps accross the road from the beach. It has hotel amenities (housekeeping, pool, concierge) in a condo style living multiple beds (full kitchen in each unit). We stayed in 12B and it was perfect and away from the pool for kids to sleeping without hearing people out there. Would definately stay again.

One of my favorite Wyndham properties. I could easily retire and live here. I really could.

If you want a quaint little place with beach access, this is a great place. It can never get crowded with only twenty something units. You dont have to walk very far to get to the pool like at the bigger resorts due to most of the buildings surrounding the pool. If you stay in one of the lower units, you can hear people walking above you so I would recommend an upper unit. The TV in unit 6A in the bedroom was really small (less than 32) so it definitely needs an upgrade. We watched TV in the living room on the couch bed until we went to bed. Kenny Ds is a Cajun Restaurant next door with great Gumbo. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely bring our kids back with us.

Well maintained and clean facility. Laundry centrally located in courtyard with 5 washer/dryers. Definitely recommend. Easy access to beach across the street. Beach access does require you to use stairs to get down to the beach.

Has everything you need for a stay at the beach!! Nice layout, clean and well cared for. The cottage we were in had two units. Bottom floor is one unit, top floor is another. We were in the bottom unit. Would be 5 stars had it not been for the noise. You can hear EVERYTHING from the unit above, every step, hear the toilet flush, the shower running, broom sweeping across the floor, entire conversations!! Sounds as if someone is in the unit with you. I had read this in a previous review, thinking, it cant be that bad...IT IS!! Had to turn on the television to drown it out. The outside surroundings are quite with a relaxing atmosphere, to bad its cold, cant stay out there. (December) If I came back I would ask for the second floor!!

Wonderful stay, and Kenny Ds next door!

If you are wanting easy access to the beach, you cant beat this location. We could walk across the street and be in the sand within a minute. There isnt much else around to do, but the section of beach was clean and we went there everyday. There are also nice sidewalks and boardwalks to walk nearby. If you want access to a lot of restaurants, shopping or entertainment, you have to drive into Destin, but if you want a quiet location near the beach, this location is perfect. The cottages are nicely equipped. We found everything we needed to cook our meals on hand in the kitchen. There is free laundry and they also provided beach towels.The main negative was the cleanliness of our unit. There was a significant amount of what appeared to be mold on the ceiling above the shower and the outside of the toilet was covered in disgusting brown streaks. The carpet needs a good shampoo, as our feet quickly became very dirty walking around barefoot. We were disappointed with the professionalism of one employee who stood by the pool while we were in it with our kids and had an extremely loud, profanity-filled argument on his cellphone for about 10 minutes. Several employees walked by and no one addressed this with him. Hopefully, this was a one-time occurrence, but it made us very uncomfortable. Overall, we would give this location another chance because the main objective of our vacation was to spend time on the beach and this provided great access to a lovely beach.

The stay was great and the staff was attentive but not annoying. The amenities and everything offered were great, but we were guests of a wyndham member (my uncle) who gifted us the stay and we were very impressed with the place so we scheduled a meeting to inquire about becoming members ourselves to use them again. The price for their timeshare deals is ridiculous. $2k a month is ridiculous!

Inside cottage is comfortable, bed is nice, has great ceiling fans and air-conditioning works great. However, the cottages are so stuffed in together that you hear everything. When there are people and children at the pool screaming, it comes right thru into the cottage as if you were at the pool yourself. (Im not complaining about kids screaming cause thats what they do when excited in the pools, it a normal reaction, Im only saying the cottages arent sound proof and too close together.Its a very convenient place to walk across the street right to the beach. All and all the stay was nice.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. It as beautiful and relaxing. The beach was right there and it was so easy to access. I slept on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed and it was more comfortable than my own bed!

The staff was the nicest staff ive ever seen at a hotel, they also didnt mess anything up with our booking & such. They gave us a little gist of great places to eat and awesome things to go do. We had mentioned to them we like to go dolphin touring, and gave us places we could go and showed us a place for it where we could get a discount at for staying at the Beach Street Cottages! A little conviency would be that there is a place beside the cottages and they have good dessert if you ever want some. Great experiance and would definately want to go back again! :)

Check in was easy and we rented both suites in the cottage. We were in walking distance of the beach and a few restaurants. After receiving the key cards we were told to come back in about an hour to get our parking passes from the activity guide. We decided to change and get ready for dinner and this would be a quick stop to get the passes and we will be on our way to dinner in no time....oh how WRONG we were. This woman took an hour and a half explaining the area and were to go to eat, what there was to do in the area, and we even told her we were on our way to dinner after we got the passes. She continued to talk and talk and TALKKKKK. It got to the point that stopped her and told her we were told to come back for a parking pass not a LECTURE. She did not acknowledge my anger at all and decided to ignore me and continue talking to the rest of my family. why dont you wait outside honey . No...stop talking...give us our parking passes...AND LET US EAT.There should have been a disclaimer informing us that this quick stop for a parking pass was a trap to basically ruin your evening.Other than this horrifically frustrating start to the vacation, the remainder of the stay was delightful and we had a lot of fun on the beach. The resort area was fairly quiet and there werent any crazy parties going on. I would recommend this area for families with small children.

My sisters and I went down for 5 days. 5 of us. The condo was perfect. Great space and extremely nice. We stayed in 3B. It was beautiful and only a VERY short walk to beach.

The location was great and the rooms were clean. The thermostat was stuck at 90 upon our check in however the friendly maintenance staff fixed it immediately. The ladies at the front desk were not the friendliest and pushed back on my request for room supplies. I was a bit disappointed considering all of the maintenance fees I pay Wyndham as a owner. Also, with the temps being lower in the winter I think beach street residents should be able to use the majestic sun indoors pools.

Literally a two minute walk to the beach, quiet closely-bundled two storey cottages. About 5 minutes from everything else to do in Destin and next to two great seafood restaurants. The staff was great and the property is well maintained.

I was very impressed by the cottages themselves - very clean, spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The walls are a little thin so if you have loud neighbors you can hear them, but overall, a very wonderful experience and I will book again!

Best vacation of my life. Destin is beautiful. Cant beat staying within walking distance to the beach.

We had an upper unit and the man below us said he could hear everything we did and we don’t think we’re loud. He could hear our sink running at 6:00 A.M. We could also hear his snoring and tv.Cute cottage feel. Laundry is not in the unit. Laundromat next to pool was free to use. Heated pool got daily use. BBQ got used, too. Great beach access. Wide sidewalks set back from the road for walking. Nice older population at this time of year (end of December). Lots of visiting young families.There is very good shopping to be had at two large districts nearby. Eglin AFB had a nice older BX and commissary. The base Starbucks in the BX food court was newer and good.The fog in Destin, which didn’t show on radar, limited vision to 100 feet and continued for days. Most attractions were closed.

Easy to find using Google.Kim was a nice check in hostess.Consignere Bunny was nice and informative about area and restaurants.When using a time share as the guest /family of an owner, I dont know why they push to sell you on upgrading the membership. My adult kids arent going to buy more points when their Grandparents are already Platinum VIP members??? Especially when it is past dinner time and youve made it clear that youve traveled for 2 days... The time share check-in ate our beach time. The time share salesmen are a real turn -off when checking in.The kitchen is small. Not sure that we can do any real cooking, but will work for sandwiches and breakfast food.We will re judge after this week stay .

The cottage is located within a short distance of the beach. The cottage is one bedroom with sleeper sofa. Great for a group of four. There is a stove and refrigerator that are great for cooking an occasional meal. There are laundry facilities a short walk from the cottage. There are plenty of places to eat and shop just a short drive from the cottage.

Resort was great. But we only got to stay 1 night because of hurricane Michael. We were evacuated within 12 hours of being there.

Thanksgiving week was kinda cold and rainy but these places were cozy and convenient.

Ten+ years as Wyndham owners and have always wanted to stay here. Finally got the chance, but only for two nights. Loved the place. It will be on our itinerary next spring. Typical Wyndham high quality.

The cottages are just steps away from the beach. The property and the units are not large but they are well organized. The staff are very attentive and give great customer service.

Unit 24B is right in the front with beach views. Its the largest room on the property. Separate bunk room for children. 2 full baths and washer dryer in the unit. Very quiet and peaceful. Will recommend for friends.

Okay for starters I just want to say Ive stayed at this Wydham MANY times, this was just our experience this year.PROS: just across the street from the beach, close to restaurants and shopping, great rooms and balconies. One of my favorite places Wyndham has!CONS: our check in time was at 4 p.m., we didnt get our keys until 5 because house keeping wasnt done cleaning the room. So we were left outside burning up and sweating waiting on them to finish. We have had a service dog for many years and have always taken her with us. She is for my mother who needs her at night to alert us if something is wrong while she is sleeping. Suddenly (after being there for 3-4 days) the Guest Service Supervisor, Karen, said we could not keep her in our room even though she wasnt barking at all. It was over 95 degrees and we had reservations to go on a night boat cruise. Again as stated at the very beginning, we have stayed at this Wyndham many times and they have never told us about this supposed policy. This was just a disappointment in Wyndham because weve stayed at this Wyndham and many others in different states and this has NEVER been an issue at any of them. The company may want to retrain their staff on federal regulations on service dogs and customer service skills.
