We rented out roughly 25 rooms for a company retreat, including the Presidential Loft Suite so we could have a gathering area. The hotel is a great location, the rooms are all very nicely appointed. The problem was the level of absurd sound control demanded by security.We gathered each night in the Presidential Suite for some games and fun, nothing over the top, no wild party, just some socializing and card games. We had music on but it was background music, nothing loud at all. We did have people coming in a out for a few hours each night so we left the door slightly open, I guess this set off one of the neighbors. What they dont advertise is that the Presidential Suite is situated next to condos or suites owned by full-time tenants (in the same building & shared hallway). One (or many) of which were complaining about noise both nights despite the fact it was a very tame gathering. It was pretty lame, especially considering it was a suite built for entertaining. If they are going to charge so much for it, at least sound proof the dang thing a little better or add another hall door to block sound from the neighbors.Security came up and read us the riot act without even trying to give a first warning or ask politely. There was no attempt to be cordial at all, just a few roided up security guards threatening to kick us out.Great location for sleep or the pool but do not plan to go here if youre doing any sort of gathering with others.

We came here for our COVID honeymoon! We had a lovely room with a patio and were easily able to walk to either of the 2 pools! The resort style pool had plenty of chairs and amazing service. The valet costs the same as self parking so we used the valet! They were so welcoming and helpful every time we came and went and were quick with suggestions of places to go. The bar and restaurant was delicious and made us feel safe and taken care of. This mid century modern property is at the end of a major street in Old Town Scottsdale, in easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

We love this hotel! Friendly staff and love the retro decor. Also love that our dog can stay for free. Close to stores, restaurants, etc.

A very cool hotel with an old Vegas vibe. Showing some wear and tear. Tiles missing in bathroom, some lights did not work in the room, and a large water bug in the bath, and no top sheet on the bed. Hopefully they are changing the comforter between guests... Could use a little tlc. The employees super nice...

This hotel is outstanding. Right from valet, checking-in, service and wifi. I stay in many hotels / motels for my work but I think this has to be my favourite. Cool decor and good array of soaps etc. Pool looks good although never have been in even though stayed at least 6-8 times over past 2 years.

I enjoyed the retro 60s look of the place, that had updated the important things while keeping the original look. Very attentive and helpful staff. Conocierge and Engineering staff worked hard on my issue of trying to find a certain tv channel on the hotel tv. They were FAST and didnt give up until they found the root of the problem. Good place and people!

It’s a good enough spa but the front desk staff seems high strung and stressy; they need to use their own services and calm down!

All is clean and everyone friendly but given the current corona virus situation the restaurant has a very limited menu which we were very disappointed by. We were hoping to try the massive Bloody Mary they offered a few months ago but we’re told it wouldn’t be available until after we’re gone. The state was on curfew due to protests so we didn’t get to explore the area much and most stores in old town were closed, unfortunate timing. Overall the hotel was nice and I would recommend it. I would mention request a pool facing balcony otherwise ur looking at a road which is not aesthetically pleasing.

Property was nice and the overall stay was fairly pleasant! The food was eh, granted I did order room service quite late and I understand the Overnight Chef must cook off a select menu. Overall 7/10

The hotel was in a great part of town, easy to walk wherever we wanted to go. The staff were super friendly and very accomodating. The room was perfect! While the hotel looks vintage from the outside, its very modern on the inside. I loved how to room had double sliding doors that opened to the outside to let the warm breeze in. The pool was fun and the drinks were great! We only ate at the hotel once, but the food was really good. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Positive: Two pools instead of one allowed for some adult quiet time, Negative: Pools were not heated. There is a shortage of outlets in the rooms for charging phones, tablets, etc. Valet parking is rather expensive.

The rooms were truly amazing. I loved the whole feel of my king studio. The pools however were over crowded.

Everything cost. No free coffee at lobby, nor free water in room. Bottled water at $6/bottle! Even exercise in room cost.

Design, decor, cleanlineaa are all 5 stars. What is not favorable - need somewhere to park car before you go into lobby to check in.

The rooms were unique, I was surprised upon arrival that my room was outdoors and had a motel feel, however the room itself was perfect and I loved the patio in the room.

Hotel Valley Ho (or The Ho, as we came to call it) is the best hotel in the greater Phoenix area. Minutes from the airport, zoo, walking distance to tons of great restaurants, galleries and bars, a few more minutes to Taliesin West. This place has everything -- a cool, party pool area with bars and hot tubs, and a quiet pool area with fountains -- so no matter what your mood is, you can fit right in. The ZuZu restaurant is excellent, the wait staff the best weve ever encountered (recommend the specials, the filet, and the stroganoff). The grounds were clean and beautifully manicured. Ask the concierge about the property tour thats available -- even though you have to pay for it, you get a 20% off certificate for the restaurant or the spa (we more than made up for that cost in one nice dinner).

I stayed here for a last minute staycation with my girlfriend. The pool was excellent and we really enjoyed just lounging around and sipping on their great mixed drinks. The room and building was definitely old but renovated and quite clean. The room was a bit noisy however and I was woken up a few times during the night by either neighbors (thin walls), cars driving by (building was right next to main road), and people going in and out of their cars in the parking lot.We ordered late night room service and were quite pleased with the Chicken Matchsticks. A little pricey but fast delivery and good portion size.The staff was extremely helpful and couterous. Great spot for a staycation or if you want to bar hop around Old Town without driving as it is only about a ten minute walk to most bars and restaurants.

Retro hotel that offers all the modern amenities. Awesome pool, comfortable rooms, great bar/lounge with tons of different seating options. Lunched on our last day in the restaurant while we listened to live music. Everything was perfect!

This was our first time at the hotel, I have always wanted to stay here, very swanky, modern and visually appealing. The hotel welcoming staff were amazing, and gave us a few drink vouchers for our anniversary as well as a few chocolate covered strawberries. My only issue with the whole trip has nothing to do with the amazing staff but, that the walls are suuuper thin. Its an older hotel so I get it. I didnt think I would hear my neighbors phone vibrating on their nightstand when they received notifications. Additionally, there was an argument that broke out in the hallway and we heard ALL of it loud and clear (though Im not sure if ANY walls would have stopped that one) Over all it was an amazing weekend getaway for us and Im glad I got to experience this hotel.

Really great place to stay, fun pool and good overall service. Two things that this hotel can improve on to make it a 5-star experience. One is the check-in service, I didnt like how they checked me in and didnt offer to carry my luggage to my room. They gave me a map and said here your room. When its 110 degrees outside, no one wants to look for a room hauling luggage around. The second being the room cleaning, I checked into two rooms and found noticeable cleaning issues in the shower and toilet. I still highly recommend because these issues are simple fixes.

We had Terrace suite. It was very cute spacious and modern chic. The pool was clean and the employees wore masks. The employees also were very professional accommodating and made sure everyone stayed 6 feet apart or in their groups apart. Over all this location is highly recommended. I intended on staying here again

Very clean and retro. Great pool area. They charge for parking, however street parking is available for free. They also put money holds on your credit card three were not aware of until we got there. Someone tried to charged $400 To my room. My card company stopped it and when I returned to my room I was locked out. I had to go to the office and prove to them the charge was not mine. They investigated and removed the charge.

Terrace Suite is very pretty, however the the terrace hasnt been cleaned at all, the chairs, table and day-bed are full of dust, we had to wipe and clean everywhere by ourselves; We ordered 2 glasses of non-alcoholic cocktails at the restaurant, and they charged me $28 for each, meanwhile those regular cocktails with alcohol are only cost about $14 each, I was shocked when I recieved the bill, which before I took the order, the server has never mentioned me how much for the non-alcoholic cocktails cost, that was a SCAM!!!!

Most of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy. Love the location; we walked to old town for dinner. The only slight bummer was the pool drinks and service was eh.

Wir haben hier drei Nächte verbracht. Das Doppelzimmer war sehr groß, Kaffeemaschine (Kaffee leider ungenießbar;-(, moderner TV, Wecker-Lautsprecher Kombi vorhanden. Wir hatten ein Poolblick-Zimmer. Den Aufpreis von 18,00 Dollar + Steuer je Nacht fürs Parken kann man sich getrost sparen. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es genügend Straßen mit Parkplätzen. Das Frühstück gibt es hier nur auf das Zimmer und ist sehr teuer. Es ist jedoch ein Kühlschrank vorhanden und man kann sich selbst verpflegen oder aber das Frühstück in einer netten Bäckerei in der Nähe einnehmen. Zudem ist ein sehr großer Balkon vorhanden. Dort findet man eine Liege und zwei Stühle nebst Tisch. Der Pool ist nicht sehr groß und die Liegen stehen eng. In der Nebensaison war es kein Problem. Am Poll befindet sich eine Bar und Getränke/Speisen werden auf Wunsch serviert.

Das 50er Jahre Ambiente im neuen Glanz , die Sauberkeit ,der Service ,es hat alles gepaßt .Das Frühstück bei 50er Jahre - Musik war ein Traum , so lässt es sich leben .Man fühlte sich in das Jahr 1957 zurückversetzt .Hätte nur gefehlt , wenn Frank Sinatra und James Dean um die Ecke gekommen wären.Die Betten waren vorzüglich und wir hatten einen direkten Zugang zur Terrasse und zum Pool.Der einzige Wermutstropfen war die Wassertemperatur beider Schwimmbecken ,die aufgrund der heißen Temperaturen viel zu warm war. Die Tagestemperaturen bewegten sich zwischen 40 und45 Grad ,nachts nicht unter 32 Grad ,Wasser um die 30-35 Grad.Dafür ist in den Sommermonaten der Preis ca.1-2/Drittel günstiger als im Herbst .Fazit :Das beste Hotel in meiner langen Hotelhistorie

Proche du centre de scottsdale, Chambre spacieuse pour 4 et très bon dîner et petit déjeuner au restaurant.

Gute Lage in Scottsdale, viel schöner als in downtown Phoenix. 50er-Jahre Retro Chic, aber mit der modernsten Ausstattung. Alles perfekt designed, sehr originell, angenehm und zum Wohlfühlen. Empfehlenswert: Zimmer zum Pool. Restaurant, Cafe und Bar gut, aber teuer.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in Scottsdale. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist stilvoll, hatte aber in einzelnen Fällen schon etwas gelitten. Das Badzimmer war toll.
