My husband booked an executive king room here for my 25th birthday. He paid $230 for the room. The price of the room seemed pretty high for what we got. On top of that when you check in you have to pay a $28 resort fee, which is basically to have free water in your room. The room they put us, although it had a nice balcony, was right over top of the casino and all you can hear when you go out there is a really loud air conditioner. Shower was pretty nice though. However, when we finally went to go to bed, we realized we only had 4 standard sized pillows on a king bed. They were also really flat.. f it wasnt 12 in the morning I would have called for more pillows. Needless to say it really was just so so. For that price, I honestly would not stay here again. Its a little upsetting because I was so looking forward to it.

It was a great place to gamble...especially during the pandemic. They require masks, take temp before entry and all games have plastic shields to separate from each other. Plus they have a great variety of table games, video games and slots. I was hoping for a Vegas-like experience with free drinks while playing but I did have to pay for the drink I ordered...no big deal, I had a great time anyway.

The resort and casino were very nice..still great food options even in the midst of covid-19..saw staff always cleaning plenty of sanitizer stations.and temp checks..loved loved the room..had the executive king room..the shower was amazing and the balcony was awesome..staff was very prompt with all requests..we stayed for our 15 year anniversary. Will definitely have to return again..came out ahead at the casino and the desserts at black fig were delicious

Prior to Coronavirus this was the premier resort in the valley of the sun! ️. I have been coming here for 10 years+Taking stick was a high-end modern Las Vegas style resort with pools, dining, spa, plus golf, a casino & live entertainmentOcean Trail, Wandering Horse Buffet, and Blue Coyote Cantina are CLOSED which is extremely disappointing. Many other valley restaurants are open!!!Those restaurants have been closed since May 2020 and have NO definitive date to reopen.The resort feels “strange” and lacks energy with all the plexiglass everywhere.When you enter the resort, there is a check point. They take your temperature and require a face MASK face shields are NOT allowed If you are looking to gamble, order Ocean Trails for take out, golf or stay at the hotel this place this place is for you! Everything else is Shut down!Pro Tip: they have a winter ️ display setup in the lobby. Perfect for selfies and photo for your Christmas card.

I feel comfortable here. Good music, nice pool! I think the vending machines are broken though. I put a $20 in there and it just blinked at me for 5 minutes... so I put another one in just to be sure. It was a good time.

Rooms are very nice.. staff is friendly. Food is mediocre at best.. the casino is 2020 ..1984 .. masks.. not much fun.. feels like your money disappears as quickly as you insert into slots.. long walks outside if you smoke..

Talking Stick Resort gives you everything you may want in a casino. I have visited the casino many times, and stayed in the adjoining hotel on two occasions. The casino floor is every bit a player for all the players, and although I would be considered a tightwad when it comes to gaming, I do find enjoyment in the slot machines and a few hands of blackjack. I have never won, but I do witness folks that seem to take a few bucks home. The games and dealers are all professional and fair. And, security does its job seamlessly without ever a notice.If I had any criticism of Talking Stick Resort, I cannot think of one thing. Maybe the alcoholic drinks are priced too high, but $8.50 for a vodka and cola is not so far out that I would lodge a complaint. The prices are high as expected, but the atmosphere is well worth it. The floor is always teeming with suntanned Arizona girls and the horde of men that follow. Most leave with smiles, yet there are a few that leave with a look that makes me worry. But, all in all, I prefer Talking Stick Resort to nearly every other casino located in the valley, and I highly recommend it. However, I have personally witnessed a small percentage of patrons who habitually overspend, and to those folks and their families I urge intervention and understanding.

We absolutely love staying here by far the best hotel and casino always so friendly so attentive make you feel right at home and welcome the slots are outstanding we hit jackpots like its going out of style haha. The best rooms, in room dining always meets if not exceeds our expectations EVERYTIME. They sanitize often and enforce mandatory mask wear which is huge for us seeing as i have serve asthma. So thank you to all the staff and everyone at talking stick for making our stay @ Talking Stick Resort and Casino memorable during this pandemic.

Resort is beautiful but parking is a long walk with no valet available due to covid restrictions. Prices for rooms seem high and room service is ridic. 38 dollars for bagel and two egg breakfast. Lots of machines and tables. Huge poker room. Nothing for kids at all so dont plan a family vacation here. Great for gamblers but I wouldnt stay here again.

The vibes are very different since COVID. Did enjoy our stay as usual clean neat room. Kind and polite staff. Gambling & golfing our favorites !!!

Went with my momma and we kept winning.. You either win or lose but its all in fun! Everything is sanitized and clean and its still fun even if you lose haha! Go have a good time!

The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. We were able to keep the room nice and cold, the way we like it. The shower was amazing. They had a tiny Keurig for coffee and tea. There wasnt enough cream and sugar for me. There was a tiny fridge. We ordered room service several times. The food was ok. Not great. The nice restaurant (Orange Sky) was closed and the Spa was also closed due to Covid (we were planning on getting a couples massage). We spent a whole day by the pool. It was the best part of our visit. We were served lots of yummy drinks and the staff was super friendly. I dont blame the hotel for the closures but I definitely shouldve called ahead to make sure everything was open. Overall we had a very relaxing stay here.

Great clean rooms and classy casino. Stayed a couple of nights on a business trip. The rooms are very quiet and have good internet speed for those looking to get work done.The casino is very nice. Its not overcrowded. The drink priced seemed a bit excessive. My Captain n cokes were $9.95 for a plastic 14oz cup.Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.

We just moved to Arizona and wanted a day out for fun. My sister and I had a blast. We had great food and Loved the tatertots. Also we couldnt lose if we tried. We Won so much our first day out and we will definitely be returning.

The servers in the Blue Coyote Cafe, are the best, super polite and friendly. The food is great as well. The 2 bald bartenders I n the main casino floor are rude but other than those 2 knuckleheads, the place is awesome

Our room was very nice. The pool area is super nice to lounge at with outdoor games and activities to do, music playing and places to lay out. Casino was great as well. Room service was quick — I recommend this place!

Having to carry your suitcase through the casino to get to your room sucks, other than that, it is a nice place. Rooms are comfortable and very nice. The cafe is really good too.

A modern, spacious casino with separate enclosed poker and high limit rooms. A nice variety of gaming tables and slot machines provides a wide variety of gaming choices. A well ventilated location with no smoking allowed makes it an enjoyable place to stay and play. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. I hope non smoking becomes the new normal because this a cool place to hang out with friends and family!

Cool place. Left them a sizeable tip if you want to call losing money tipping. The atmosphere was very vanilla. Apparently they didnt like my mask which is one of the few approved so I had to wear one they gave me. Uncomfortable & quite honestly the reason I left early.

Talking stick is as nice as the commercial say except the golf course. Dead as a door nail. I understand that if they close you youre not making money to spend on the golf course. Just a nice nice place.

We took a party bus to take us to casino first time here! Loved the blackjack tables! Drinks were excellent. We also got food to go! Great and fun place.

I received an offer in the mail for 2 free nights at the hotel and tried to redeem them twice and was rejected. The first time was a Tuesday at 6 pm when I tried to get a room, the hotel staff refused to help me at all and told me to call the number on my offer. After about 30 minutes trying to talk to someone, I was told that the hotel would have to make reservations for me due to availability but showed there were 20 rooms available, but when I went to hotel, I was told they were sold out. The second time was just last week when I tried to redeem my free nights, I called on a Wednesday around 730 pm and when the phone answered I asked if any rooms was available, the man said yes we have tons of rooms tonight, but when I told him I wanted to redeem my free nights, I was told no and that I wouldnt be able to redeem it at all bc they only allow a limited amount to be redeemed each month. Why are they send more offers out than they will honor....

Liked it. The place was clean and the rooms are very nice.Drinks are expensive and the security very tight. Dont forget your room key.Games were tight during prime time ,best bet play early morning.

Pretty nice casino, but sorry Im not a gambler, like my mother, she was a high roller.Her with her friends, the pistol packing gambling grannies. My very first time there last night. I was playing the slots for approximately an hour and winning here and there. I was approached by the staff and told I had to leave because my thick scarf mask was not acceptable. Are you kidding me??! Like the others work. Ridiculous...I will never go here again!!!

I had a family emergency and had to leave quickly . I left some expensive earrings in my room. I called the same day that my room was cleaned and I got the run around between the front desk and security! No one knew anything! The housekeeper didnt turn them in . I liked my stay until I found out that the staff ARE DISHONEST....WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

Parking was easy. They have lots of tables as well as lots of slots even in the high roller room! Just dont seem to hear any bells and whistles going off when you win a hand payout at all anymore. Still fun

Talking stick is Arizona’s best casino and resort hands-down second to none they got the best Looking resort you look at that place at night it just lights up the sky with it’s beauty they have a fun party atmosphere with lots of beautiful people out for a good time The bars are jam packed serving up excellent drinks the restaurant’s cannot be beat and the rooms are magnificent and when I go to play talking sticks the place to be during the COVID-19 they take all the precautions that are necessary to keep you safe while enjoying yourself and I appreciate that very much And that’s why Talking-stick is my favorite Hotel casino and resort in Arizona

Love that place just wish that the did not take out the Blake Shelton slot machine I won on that game a couple times. Love the shaking seat.

The room was very nice the bathroom was luxurious with a separate shower and deep tub. Definitely get a cabana if you plan on spending time at the pool.

I hit alot of machines had a good night. Love this place. Top golf is a blast I recommend it also. Pool games are fun with kids

Staff was excellent at every turn. All areas where extreme clean and all social distance and covid rules followed and explained well. Food and drinks where still easy to get. Pool was clean. Room was great, comfortable bed.

This casino is the best around in the state of Arizona. You can actually win money at this casino. Stay the night stay a couple days this place is awesome clean and the rooms are beautiful. Nice balcony non-smoking. Nice upgraded bathroom top of the line of all casinos in this state. Reasonably priced. They have pretty good food here too. Their other casino is casino Arizona Dont go there its awful. I cant believe theyre related. I only went to wildhorse casino but its hard to win there. Talking Stick has little jitneys to pick you up in a parking lot right to the door of the casino. This place is well kept and like I said its clean. The staff is friendly and the crowd is also friendly. Thats why I rated it five stars. Dont take it from me check it out yourself. Im actually Atlantic City from New Jersey Gambler. Who needs Vegas when you got talking stick. The end.

The room was beautiful, impressively clean, cool and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was fantastic. We ordered room service twice and both times the service was prompt and the food was delicious. Our only complaints were that we couldnt adjust the refrigerator to make it colder and we missed having a microwave. Would definitely staycation here again.

They have a large clean and updated rooms! The interior is really phenomenal! I love the place and the staffs are very nice and always smiling. The rates is really worth it! Plan to spend my Christmas here next year

Well 1st reason is I left with more money than I had arrived with and that is always a good thing. But I really enjoyed the fact that it was a NO Smoking Casino that was a 1st for me and you would think that would be a down fall for myself because I am a smoker but I really dislike the actual smoke the cigarette puts off so being around someone at the casino and smoke going in to my face I Hate it also being in a Smoking Casino for more than a couple of hours i start getting a Headache and not feeling well and I know it has to do with the smoke in the air. So going to Talking Stick and not have to Deal with smoke in my face and getting a headache and the feeling of losing my cookies is Fantastic. My Husband and my self really had a great time and plan on returning very soon!

Nice looking casino but it sure doesnt seem like they are paying out very much and dont expect them to comp a drink for the money you are spending.

Theyre food is real good especially the gumbo. A guy won 10k while I was there. I love seeing that.

No start up credit but good clean place. Wed stay overnight even though we live 35 minutes away. It is a lively place with no lack of chances to lose money.

Beautiful place. Sushi at the downstairs restaurant is probably the best we have ever have! So great.I met a woman outside smoking a cigarette. Beautiful woman. She had claimed she just had her car and wallet stolen and said she would pay if could just have a place to stay for the night because she had no ID. Her story was very legit and decided to let her stay just for the night. She looked and sounded so out of sorts and so tired.She came to my room and only slept 2 or 3 hours and was just walking around the room in the dark. She left soon after. The next day I walk downstairs and she is with multiple men and pretty drunk. Long story short multiple team members at the resort said she was a con artist and tries to get money and stay with different people every night. This is after we had to deal with her for three nights afterwards, Trying to avoid her.She eventually got the cops called on her and some random guy for ordering drinks and food and claiming they were me or my fiancé. They were escorted out and hours later the resort let them in again!!!I just don’t understand how they can let that go. So crazy.It was the worst experience. I wish they would have told us beforehand!!

They have one of the best poker rooms Ive been in. The best regulations and more equipped against coronavirus than other casinos. I felt very safe and had a lot of fun.

Had dinner at the buffet a year prior and was definitely one of the best buffets Ive had. This we stayed at the resort. Top notch very nice. Buffet still amazing. This time we also ate at the Orange Sky. Excellent food and an amazing views. Overall experience at the resort...A++

Rooms are nice. Casino is weird to me in that its totally non smoking. Room service is cool in that its 24 hours but portions seem kinda small.

Im not normally lucky but the last time I went out there I was down to about 50 bucks when my partner and I decided to go home. On the way out I decided to wager my last 40 so I put 30 on the table decided to save 10 for food and the dealer opens with an ace king and I got a royal flush to the heart a,k,a.. the progressive was at that time 520 thousand but I settled for 1200 I won and promptly left. Food there is excellent the bar makes a killer Manhatten and service is too notch in my book and I dont even really like to gamble but like the excitement watching others win especially my fiance. Best casino out of all the reservation gaming halls. rooms are nice as well better have some money to spend its a good break to do once in a while.

This was a really nice casino wasnt too far away from everything else go karts and the indoor skydiving which was not far on the other side of the freeway but this was a really nice casino and the food was really good in here as well

Right now because of covid you cant smoke inside. They also took out a lot of the cool 3-D slots they had and a lot of the other ones like the Harley one and Cookies, I didnt see Walkinf Dead either. They also did not have any promotions for the Player Rewards Members. I still like this place though because the staff is so nice and helpful. I had a situation and a manager/security guy named Aaron was more than helpful, understanding, and empathetic. The rooms are amazing and comfortable and the pool was even open.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. Room service was delivered quickly. It was a great experience!

What a joke. Do not waste your money at this glorified arcade. They never payout. 1000$ in less than 2 hrs on slots. Not one win.

I love this place have hit so many payouts. They seem to pay better here compared to nearby casinos. Also a non smoking casino love love love. Recommend this place early evenings till about 2am. Peaks around that time I believe.

My family took a nice little weekend staycation to get a change of scenery during COVID times. We got a slightly upgraded view for a reasonable price. I appreciated the guidelines they had in place for social distancing. Everything seemed sanitized. The room was ok but the bathroom door was broken and always slid open which made things awkward at times. The carpet looked pretty gross but idk how much you can expect from a hotel. The pool area was really nice and I was surprised that its a saltwater pool. For the special price they offered, I would go back if I start feeling stir crazy again.

Wow, they got rid of all the old popular slot machines. Its like going to a video arcade. They check your temperature and you have to wear mask. No smoking. Slots were tight..they must be trying to make up for lost revenue. I miss the buffetThey have the best buffet in Arizona.

The Spa at Talking Stick is excellent! Super clean very friendly staff and a 14th floor view of the valley. There is a much wider range of services offered than most spas.

Was here in town for 3 days for.work decided to give this place a try. Would.come back again, even though the Covid, whole place is masks and tempt checks to enter.

This casino is a good place to go if youre looking just to throw some money in a machine with the chances of possibly getting lucky. I know quite a few people that have one at this casino but it is definitely a no thrills kind of a place. Its clean the staff is friendly but it definitely doesnt offer anything other than the ability to sit in front of machine put money in. Not a place you want to take your kids or go somewhere if you just want to have a theme park kind of experience.

I havent stayed at the hotel yet but I have been preparing for the stay for a couple of months now. My boyfriend and I are going to Talking Stick to celebrate our 1 year and Robb McCreary has been more than helpful and I have no doubt that our stay is going to be amazing thanks to Robb. Fun friendly place. We had lots of fun for a night of gambling and dancing. Smoking stick casino.Really dont understand about people being able to smoke everywhere. They do need to upgrade their air system and or policies. Woke up needing a cigarette and a lung transplant.

Decent slot variety, could use 24-hr valet, nearly ruined by unfriendly and unbelievably rude staff members throughout casino. I couldnt imagine why the various staff we encountered talked to us with either profound irritation or blatant rudeness. Initially our approach was polite and appreciative until the end of our visit, when we were sick of the attitudes. Doesnt anyone who work believe in customer service or kindness? Is that even a value with the Talking Stick corporation? I cant tell, but it sure doesnt seem that way!
