What?! How come this never showed up on my Google Map? If it wasn’t for watching YouTube about yummies in Chinatown, I would have never known about this space with lots of handcrafted artsy fun gifts etc. Thanks for being open on a Tuesday morning!

They typically have really great options here but on our most recent visit most of the vendors were closed - in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Not sure when/if they will be black, so I would recommend checking what is available first before visiting.

Small variety of items here. All the shops themselves taste amazing but this place doesnt quite fit into the general vibes of Chinatown. The food here is more expensive, sometimes double the price of stuff you can get outside. Its also always pretty crowded here so it usually takes me a while to get my food whenever I eat here

A great indoor space on canal street. Spacious seating, clean restrooms, and a nice variety of foods and boutique shopping areas to peruse. The samurice spot was okay-okay... decent portions but the “fried chicken” was just microwaved chicken pieces dipped in a sauce. I’d come back and try another place.

Pretty much its an open marketing spanning several blocks along Canal street in Chinatown NY. If youre been in Saigon, area around Ben Than market - in Manhattan. Fake goods, bargaining, reputable dealers, street food, seafood market - its all here. If youre worry about safety - visit before 5 -6 PM. But I dont think it is a problem - yes, past midnight the market is over, you can see some shady staff, but going to dinning is perfectly ok. Of course, YMMV.

A very busy market in the heart of Chinatown. Half of the space is occupied by an eclectic selection of popular NYC food vendors. The other half is populated by small businesses offering their products in a pop up fashion. It can get a little overwhelming in this market due to the crowds, but it worth experiencing since they do offer good products and services.

One the many reasons I go to Canal Street/China town is to eat great food! From the best dimsum to Chinese noodle soups... etc., you could find it in this very diverse town. The Canal Market food is just one of the places to eat. This place is worth checking out and enjoy food from, Japanese, Mediterranean, bubble teas, and etc!!! In-expensive food in a clean and spacious area. They have ample tables and chairs for dine in. Accessible to subways. This place can be very crowded so be patient. Happy eating️!

FUN, HIP, and LIVELY...I love the idea of the place, with it having local sellers, you can find some really cool stuff, gift ideas. There are spots to chill, sit around and enjoy coffee or bubble tea.Theres a food court/alley with variety of choices. Poke bowls and the ramen booth are good, other booths also offer interesting choices but not all of it are good - the rice plate that I had with the purple rice is somewhat mediocre but can be improved. The shaved ice dessert tho, its surprisingly good! Its light, sweet and dreamy. Its good if youre on a diet.If they would have more booths of different stuff it would be so much nicer, plus maybe a live band and more seats and table.

I accidentally stumbled upon Canal Street Market on recent trip to New York City. There is a wide range of shopping and dining options at all budgets. I ended up ordered some tacos from a Koream-Mexican fusion restaurant. The service was fast, and the tacos were pretty good. I do wish there were spicy options for the taco toppings. Outside of the tacos, there was a wide range of fusion options such as burritos, bowls, and quesadillas.

We stumbled on this gem looking for another place. Think mall food court done with quality food options. If you like to linger to take in all the options then avoid lunch rush hour at noon. Otherwise order quickly in a New York minute. Each vendor was inviting and engaging as we looked at all options. Some offered tasting. Since we are still in the real estate strain of NYC seating options are bleachers or snugly positioned high tables and stools. They scored points for coat hooks under the table. At a quick walk-by glance the shopping options looked unique. Id visit again. Sorry no pics.

Popped into Canal St Market to grab a bite, and damn there is a beautiful selection of food to try. I went with Azumma....where traditional Korean meets fresh Mexican......multiple ways to have their food and choices of 2 rices and 3 proteins plus toppings. I picked the rice bowl with purple rice (hearty wild rice) with soy-garlic chicken as the protein. The 2 toppings were Japchae ( sweet potato noodle w vegetables) & Pico de Gallo all topped with avocado sauce. Everything was fresh, hot and totally delicious.... i believe its my first time having purple rice and I Love It !!!! All the ingredients mixed well and made for a thoroughly enjoyable meal....cant wait to come back and try the pork, supposedly its got some kickyeah baby#meecheatsny #azumma #chinatownfood #canalstreetmarket#canalstreet#timeout
