Nice view of the Statue and the city harbor. Great walk around the park. The Battery Green park is a great area for dogs to run loose and be free, lay a blanket and relax under the breeze. Great photo opportunity locations!

When i visited here.it was great weather so I can enjoy time perfectly! And people are not much more than I thought. I had safely at statue of Liberty.Well...and I had a burger for lunch but one staff I met was really rude at the restaurant in ellis Island. Except for one person, there are really good places and staffs i saw and experienced. I wanna visit here again few months later. I wish others people can enjoy seeing it with pleasant as well. And i am not a native English speaker. Plz understand my akward writing skill if someone read it.

It is amazing how French people raised franc by franc to build the Statue and then USA people raised penny by penny to build the pedestal. It is a must visit place in New York. Ive been there twice and every single time Im getting mesmerized.

I really enjoyed that it was not crowded. We did the self audio tour but the statue herself was closed.

It was a beautiful day for a boat ride, the guide keeps you informed on everything you see, great way to spend an hour or so learning about the area.

Great view, just a shame it’s a little far away for a decent photograph. But worth visiting here.

Nothing better than to start your day here, walk through the. Finacial Districr including Stone Street, continue to China Town, and then Little Italy.

Such an iconic place with views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, you cant miss it if visiting New York. For movie buffs, some scenes of Desperately Seeking Susan were shot around there, among many other movies.

The Iconic Structure is still staying as one of the major tourist attractions. When you reach and see the statue you can still feel the sweat, hard work and the effort have in building United States of America. American must be proud that they are staying as one and only iconic country where immigrants are welcomed regardless the race, color, origin and ethnic. Statue of Liberty is lighting the world that nothing is beyond humanity. God Bless America.

U have to get there early because at 4pm u can no longer go to see the statute of liberty, parking is $20 an hr on the street and the parking lot across the street wants $44 an hr so look for another place

If sunlight is bright, photography will be really gr8. From this point the panorama view of manhattan and hoboken nj is really awesome.

A little difficult to see the Statue that well at this distance, but still impressive to be close. No charge from this view and no need to ride a boat or ferry over.

This view point is not really good, the Statue of Liberty is barely seen. And it is not a really organized view point.

Had a little bit of a problem getting here, since I almost fell for a scammer, but after walking away. We paid for this, was nice to see Ellis island and Statue of Liberty. With not having to get off boat, funny Statue of Liberty is a lot smaller then the movies make it out to be, it was sorta of a let down, but nice to see her anyway! Boats are 3 levels so dont limit yourself to staying on first level, make your way to top and see what New York has to offer!!!

You cant actually appreciate the statue of liberty from here. But if you cant afford the ferry trip at least you can say that you saw it.

Super chill spot

The Statue of Liberty View Point is the southernmost point of Manhattan Island or so, and as such this is the best vantage point to check the Statue of Libery in the distance. You can see a beautiful panorama with boats and ferries, the old wooden deck structures, and do some people watching too. Everyone with a phone will want to do a selfie there and I do not blame them, this is a must see location in NYC.

If you dont have the time or cash to make he trip across to the island then this is the best place to get your views of the statue.I would recommend that you make the journey over, though.

You should go there early in the morning.

If you go to Manhattan you have to go to Liberty Island with the ferry from Battery park for seeing the Miss and for listening the audio-guide! The view of Manhattan from the ferry and the view of the Miss when you are on the island is worth considering, they merit attention!

Took the liberty cruise had amazing time with family the cruise operator was very informative about the history and the views you get are amazing see the Brooklyn bridge staten island very worth it.

Awesome experience

The view is still really far away. And there are SO many touts for unauthorised cruises. We were just trying to get to the view point and they told us that the path was blocked, or for ticket holders, etc. They were lying.

It is always fun to see the Statue of Liberty, but this view is no substitute for the ferry ride to get closer, or even the view from New Jersey, where you can see the statute much closer (even though you are mostly seeing the backside of the statue).

There‘s obviously no need to be service oriented if you offer something spectacular like a boat trip to Liberty Island. Long queues, rude staff and stressed out security it offers room for improvement on the customer experience side.That said, the boat trip itself and the splendid view on Liberty Island are nevertheless worth the efforts.

Unprofessional security guards, scammers outside waiting for a tourist to steal from, its better to view the place from afar

Great water views from here, and you can see Statue in the distance. For $18 you can take the boat to Statue and Ellis Island, no matter how much time you have to spare this is more than worth it. Boat leaves every 20 minutes

I will applaud them on the amount of people they screen at such a high rate. It wasnt a terrible wait considering the amount of people.

Buy an express line ticket to the island and life will be beautiful.

Doesnt really make sense if you dont take the ferry for the view. Hardly visible from the view point.

Pretty quick ride. I would suggest getting tickets in advance because I think they do sell out quickly and you must get tickets pretty far in advance if you want to go into the crown of the statue. Also note that the crown of the statue is not handicap friendly.

I mean the boats were ok but it took ages to get through security and it was also very chilly. Alougth, i did stand behind one of the tours and heard half of it without even payuing. Oi-oi

It is nice place to see statue, no doubt. If you dont want to go out on the water, then this is your place. Otherwise spend the money and go on the ferrys and get an up close look.

Nice to see Statue of Liberty from a distance. Watch out for rude people who try to sell you fake ferry tickets (they even wear fake badges...) around this area. You could take a free ferry from Staten Island Ferry instead or do some research online prior going.
