First they have the audacity to raise my premium from $376 to $470 at a time when COVID has placed us all in such a financial bind. Then they insult my credibility by constantly sending daily texts as if I had ever been late or not made my payments!!! The nerve!! Shame on you GEICO!!! SHAME this is GEICO not a park!!!
A great place to watch people play street basketball. Played here with friends a couple of times, had so much fun. This is definitely one of the most famous basketball court in the world.Although sometimes, the place is kinda dirty. But I love the court!
Our first time here and they welcomed us to play basketball
Rucker Park is home to some of Harlems great Basketball Legends. Its always going to be a special place to us who call New York home or any basketball who goes after the AND1 THRONE.
The talent in New York is outstanding, you can see some unbelievable games here. “Ain’t no place like home New York New York”.
ITS BEAUTIFUL... TRANSIT WISE VERY CONVENIENT, FOOD PLACES A LOT OF THEM EVERY WHERE.
Classic park with an awesome new look..
Broke some Harlem local’s ankles here. From Toronto. Walked away undefeated here. 1-0
As a kid I would go here every summer to watch all the basketball tournaments, but due to the pro and hip hop influence it was so overcrowded that many times I didn’t even make it into the park. During the NBA off season (summertime) I definitely recommend checking it out. The surrounding area doesn’t have much going on so just be aware if your not from NY you’ll probably stick out.
You HAVE to visit this place if you love basketball.Tiny Archibald, Dr. J, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson--these men have all graced this court and dominated. If you go with anyone who doesnt understand, the spectacle may be dimmed, but for those who love the sport of basketball, this is Mecca: a necessary pilgrimage!
Love this place, beautiful basketball courts.
We love the fact that theres a huge baseball park all the way in the back of the park, which is completely fenced in therefore our German Shepherd can get in all the playtime and laps she can handle, and theres no need for a leash, because its completely gated. Its especially fun when the other pet owners bring their dogs too, and coincidentally, theres 3 more Shepherd owners in this neighborhood. Theres something for everyone here, tennis, basketball (not to mention that Rutgers basketball tournaments are Poppin all summer long. Whats not to love
Its popular during the summer during the basketball tournaments. Its like every other place where you could enjoy a family moment, relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Kids can play here an have fun.
A bit dated and people leave a huge mess all the time. Parks do a good job trying to keep it
Basketball Legends have played in this park. Need I say more?
Not safe but it is known for the basketball tournament so if your looking for game this is the place.
Clean park great for parties love Harlem
The Greatest Ball Court in the Country!
Legendary Playground.
Only@GreatRuckerPark️
Legendary playground that graced the shoes of Dr j, Kobe, KD, and countless others! (And a bucket list place for me happily fulfilled)...regulars couldnt have been nicer...won a few games...lost a few others.. ran into a few guys from Chicago(like me)who ventured here to fulfill a dream.... could have let the magic of this place keep me here all day (yet the fatigue let me succumb after 4hours)...to play...or just to watch...any true hoops fan should see one of the few remaining playground meccas left...
Legendary basketball court is Oakland to New York
Kept beautiful regardless of the mens shelter next to it. Due in large to the basketball tournament thats been run their the past half century. Great basketball players now in and out of the league play in this tournament, famously called Holcombe Rucker.
My youth dream come true, great to be in the place where streeball legends have born.
A dream come true
Very nice park right around the polo ground area a lot of sport activities Manley basketball and tournaments I think you will like it if your best a basketball fan thats it
Good park Basketball
Its legendary .
It is the proving ground.
Im from Queens but we always go to the Ruckers to watch the games if you want to see the baddest basketball players one day you should visit down in Harlem on 155th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard these are some of the guys who should be in the NBA but never made it
The park was very nice especially for your toddler. Is very clean and Is near everything. Theres a convenience store, McDonalds, and dinners just walking distance. I recommend this place for children, family and friends. If you just want to enjoy a beautiful day or bbq.
A nice sightseeing stop if you are are basketball fan if you are fortunate you may get a pick-up game with someone famous
We are a basketball family. Wish they had more parking. It worked out and we were so excited to play on the famous court.
Not as spectacular as they make it look
Legendary site that you should see
Legendary Ball Park! NYC at its best
I miss coming here .
Too crowded and too small
Miss the games stop by to see a friend.
There are usually nets and its single rims. Which is the best part. There are great games but you can also play solo sometimes. The earlier, the better.
Great community park for everything from pickup b ball to relaxing walks
What a surprising little gem in the Bronx eye was a little surprised to see such a well-maintained and beautiful Park in this location satin had lunch and it was very peaceful and calm and most of all clean
Best place to go to went there for a family vacation and went to rucker park during the winter and I got to go on the basketball court where KD and many legends played great basketball moment and I will remember this forever and the town wasnt too ghetto
Too many fights happen over here, cops are needed in ths location to keep things uncontrolled. shooting and car breaking are in the surrounding area its unsafe for children who wishes to play in park.P. S. It has improved slightly with police presence.
Loved the movie Uncle Drew, had to see the park for myself. I loved the experience I had. This is a part of basketball culture in New York like the Mecca next to Madison Square garden.
The birth place of street ball
Its a nice park
Hallowed ground, step foot in the place where the likes of MJ, Dr. J, Jabbar, KD, Peewee Kirkland, and Tiny Archibald have played.
Legendary Park where alot of Great B-BALL Players come
It a nice spot to chill an enjoy ur quiet time
Very calming. Great path that leads to the pedestrian bridge that connects the Bronx to Upper Manhattan (Washington Heights)
Was only passing through looked like theres lots to do and lots of people must have been a game playing, visited on once and it was fun
Good place for a quiet afternoon walk.
I grew up in this area

Sweet. Good Street all to watch. Decent playground next door.
Dirty over looked park
Good to spend sometime here.
I love the Rucker park, witness slot of great basketball games
It will always feel like home
Great to visit
I live right next door to Ruckers. Summer time the park is off the hook. Games many days thru the week. Police are im standby at the park. Live DJ and Willies burgers, also a lady that cooks very good people wait in line for her food. Game end around 11 pm at times. I just dont know how much they charge for the games. You check searched before entering. Good basketball leagues.
Best city basketball players play at Rucker park
The park was nice the womens game was on point. Loved it.
Great atmosphere. Easy going people.
Basketball! Music! Plenty of neighborhood entertainment and entertainers. Big fun. Still miss the guy that sold that great Crab Salad.
Child hood park. Great place for events
Grew Up Across The Street From The Rucker POLO GROUNDS
Love it. Feels good to be home
Where the love of b ball begun
Historic basketball game location in the village of Harlem! Many of the great basketball players bounced and scored here!
Although is not my favorite park to visit, I was in the neighborhood to check on someone and stop there for a few minutes. I saw what seems to be several families with kids having a good time.
Historical Park N. Harlem Where Dr.J Made His Name Famous.Use To Be Home To All Basketball Competitions And Holds Alot Of History Mostly For This.
Fun watching locals play each other.
I saw Da Mayor! Wow. Basketball games are awesome!
A New York landmark. Home of basketball legends. Totally lit in the summertime!
I needed to see this park, so much of my culture so much of my history was in that park July 13th being Harlem appreciation day it damn near brought me to tears. Thumbs WAYYY up
This is one of those beautiful places in ny where you can breathe real fresh air
Good place to play b-ball at and i like how uncle drew was film there. great place.
Its always dirty the city needs to power wash that place!
I went for the history which seems to have gotten lost with the locals. 11 am on a Saturday, 65 degrees and sunny and I was the only person at the court.
Cool place to play ball at. Everybody who is known to play there has played, every guys from the NBA.
Amazing! rigth in grong of Yankee Stadium!!!
Everything they said it is. Great experience.
