We had a great time there even during the Covid-19 time period. I wish they had more wax figures of people I was looking forward to seeing. No matter what though it was an awesome experience, and my family had a great time there. The staff is EXTREMELY nice and helpful as well.

One of the best places in NYC to go for indoor entertainment. It’s really fun to visit Madame Tussaud’s NY , if u are a New York resident ticket is really cheap, non residents have to pay almost double. You can go with family or friends. The mirror part was amazing. In this pandemic they maintain social distances inside . In this winter you can visit Madame Tussaud’s NY.

Its my first time to visit there.Warm welcome in the main gate. Its really cool experience. Inside decoration oh my god its mindblowing. i really love it and enjoy a lott with celebrity its really my dream. Its really big fun place , you need minimum 3hours if you visit it properly.Lots of fun , everything really nice_ gift shop avalable and chocolate store really awesome , Best place for visit .

My experience at the museum was an extremely good one. It may seem odd to post a cleaning company but this is one of the main reasons I had a wonderful experience at Madame Tussauds New York. With the pandemic at an all time high many people are concerned about feeling safe when going out. This cleaning crew was at every exhibit that I went to. Constantly and meticulously cleaning after the visitors. Yes the exhibits were absolutely amazing but being comfortable while enjoying the exhibits is extremely important. I was happy to see how deliberate they were in sanitizing everything and made my tour through the museum a very pleasurable one. Told all my friends and family and they will be there very soon.

They recently reopened, so I decided to check it out. Staff were welcoming, and it was not crowded, so you can social distance and take pics of you and the wax figures without anyone in it. They had a lot of my favorite celebs, and they look so like-like, some of my pics look like I actually met them it was well worth the price, but could use more Instagram spots (like Jimmy Fallon and the Oval Office) throughout the museum. Some areas could use more wax figures, I wished they had some of my favorite superheroes like Black Panther and Deadpool in the Marvel area, but they don’t. Overall, big museum and well worth the price.

My wife and I enjoyed this place from beginning to end with limited activities to do due to this covid19 stuff but really fun

One of the New York Times Square tourist attractions that you can’t miss.it is especially a good place to visit with your family and friends with a lot of fun activities.Very nice experience.Highly recommended.

I visited it 5 years ago, Im not sure if all characters are still there, but it was a really nice and interesting experience . How perfect some work could be.

My family and I loved every thing about the museum. The staff was very nice and polite. This was our first time in NY and it was a great experience. Im hoping we can visit again once the virus record goes very low.

The wax figures are just incredible!! The Zombie game was so fun!! You will definitely wish it was longer. And the 4d movie was great!! Its definitely worth the money, you will have fun and enjoy yourself.

Been there like 5 times. always had a very good experience. But I live in the Bronx (New York City) & work in Manhattan. If its your first time. I recommend checking it out. I am sure you will have a good time. A little on the experience side. Especially if you go in a large group. Expect to spend around $35 to $40 per person minimum. They do have discounts...

NYC fun place to see if is open. A lot of movie stars and famous people statues in there.I was funny when a lady stood side of wax statue, couldnt see she is real or waxwork, till she smiled.

Sure. Its been a few weeks now, but for starters it was very expensive for 4 of us. The figures were nice and you could tell who they were, but it was not realistic, and I have been to Mme. Tussauds before in DC some years ago and it was amazing! I expected to see more current celebrities and the layout didnt quite flow. A big disappointment was that some areas were closed and that wasnt explained prior to purchasing the tickets, and that really should have been explained beforehand. We could have just come back another time. We also purchased a good amount of stuff from the candy/gift shop area and they didnt have any bags for the items we purchased to fit into. Lastly, we thought we could catch an area that we missed but when we got in the elevator down, it actually was the exit out from the museum. By then, we just took it as a sign and decided to leave.

One of the best locations Ive been to thus far, even the drunk homeless couple out front were hilarious.

It is a magical place. unforgettable experience!

First time and it’s worth the money and experience. I loved it! I wished it wasn’t over crowded though It was a weekend. I’m sad that I missed a floor and a few sections because it was big. Saw many of my favourites actors and actresses. Definitely worth the wait in the line which is about 10 minutes not even.

This place is awesome as usual. Parts of collection get changed every six months. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a bar incorporated into the exhibition so you can sip your cocktails and mingle with celebrities. What is great now they let you touch the exhibits so you can take tons of cool photos.

I absolutely love this place! I used to come here all the time as a kid!! Its pretty cool to be able to take pictures with your favorite celebs as wax figures.

Very nice experience. Lots of fun. You can take pictures with wax figures (leaders, singers, movie stars) and these will be a beautiful memory. Some of the performances are perfect, others a little smaller. Good markings and great information regarding figures. Find out something new. Very interesting. Visiting somewhere between two and three hours.

Our experience here was a good one although I would HIGHLY recommend looking at Groupon USA before going in, our tickets cost us $38 for 2 tickets instead of nearly $50 each!If you have been to Madame Tussauds London then you have been here, there very similar BUT different all the same!A good experience with a great range of young hosts and employees to help you with all your needs for a great experience.

Spectacular. An individual copy of the people. Sometimes you are really confused with the people next to you. Its a very large area, taking 2-3 hours. At the end, it was a 5D cinematic show, and it was beautiful. We traveled with the children and we all had a lot of fun. This was very neat to see, the work is amazing. I am glad we went and recommend you go! The staff was goodYou are at Time Square, you can also visit that area on exit.

The Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum was a very cool and fun experience. We got to know how some of the superstars look like in real life. We took so many pictures. There’s a very nice environment. This is one of the places that you can’t miss when visiting the city of New York. One of its many wonders!

I’ve been to this location twice and it’s crowded every time. The wax statues are very realistic and well made through, but it can be a bit of a wait to take photos with your favorite personality if there are many people around. Overall it’s a great way to pass time with friends around times square. They also have discounts on Groupon.

Have not been here in about 15 years. The place was so much fun and the have a wide range of wax people for every walk of life. My daughter and I had a blast. I totally recommend this place for everyone.

Located near Times Square, thought it is an iconic attraction place in the centre of the city but feel a bit disappointed comparing to all the Madame Tussauds I had visited in other countries. Price entrance by walk-in is more expensive than buy online. Actually, no point to pay so much , just take pictures with wax dolls because whatever pictures you taken, still fake and unrealistic.

I had so much fun. I knew most of the wax figures but my favorite part was making my wax hand and the ghost busters. If you don’t do anything else do the Ghost busters. I can’t wait go back to New York because I’m definitely coming back. Disappointed that the 4D marvel movie wasn’t working and I didn’t receive a refund for it

Ive been to a few Madam Tussauda and this was by far the biggest and best one Ive ever been to.There was also chances to buy access to a 10 minute 4D Marvel Avengers film for $6 and $8 to play an interactive 7D game which was a zombie type game.The staff were lovely and theres a bar in there with offers on drinks and cocktails in a night club with wax celebs scattered around which was a mint touch.Its located in time square, easy to find and free to enter with the New York Pass with no reservation required you just turn up.Enjoy!

Good, but I feel its not worth 36 dollar. Some wax sculptures were little damaged but on overall it was very well made and preserved. The 4d marvel was boring and it wasnt actually clear what was that. The mirror room and some other attractions were quite nice, but since it was super full (apparently there was a school trip there) a lot of statues were inaccessible.

The place had less wax statues since the last time i was here..Looks like they are doing work to the facility.The place was also to warm. You sure did not want to hang around long.$19 a person.

The wax figures were very life-like. Figures are switched out every three to four months so you can always revisit yet have a different experience each time. Employees were very nice. I will be back.

Loved this place. There is so much to see. Great experience. The figures are spot on. I enjoyed the drink selections. Each floor is decorated awesomely. The store has so many items to choose from very cost-effective. I loved the extra care the staff took for everyone.

We had a lot of fun here. I picked up the Platinum Tickets from the internet store and for $51 and some change it was well worth it. All attractions, complimentary wax hand, and overall great fun. It’s well organized and I went early so it wasn’t too crowded. Truly a great place to spend some time and just enjoy. The realism of these pieces is just outstanding. Down to the smallest of detail. Highly recommend to anyone.

Ive been to the museum in Las Vegas, Orlando and now NY. As always, a fun place where you can take pictures with the figures. I love that the displays are not roped off as in other museums. My only complaint was that the attendants ran the elevators and we could not just push a button and call it when we needed it. My 90 year old mother couldnt take the stairs and at one point, after waiting 10 minutes, i had to go find someone to call an attendant to come for us. Other than that - great place.

Have been to few of these around the world, London and Amsterdam to name a few and I guess this one was the coolest of all. Staff are friendly and the statues are lined up well that you can take photos with. There is a really cool 3D movie included at the end which can be fun. Plenty to see. The lifts on the way down are very very slow.

The four stars are because I thought there would be even more celebrities than there actually were. I always wanted to visit this museum as I heard so much about it. I enjoyed it a lot, but was expecting even more.

It was a fun experience. Not sure if I missed some of the wax but it didnt seem to be a lot. Also there were some people I was unsure of and couldnt find a name anywhere. The Madame Tussauds in Orlando was much better in that regard.

This was the first ever Madame Tussauds I visited and totally enjoyed the experience. Not 100% sure but I think this is one of the biggest Madame Tussauds... Got a free entry with the hop on hop off 3 days bus pass... will recommend visiting it.

I would say the emission is a little overpriced. IMHO the figures of the celebrities looks like dolls, most of them have only light similarities with actual characters. Looks like they made from plastic. I think they should be very cool 50 years ago but in the modern times any 3D printer will do a better job. A a a big plus an atmosphere they tried to create around. Overall good for one time experience.

Madame Tussauds is great where ever you are in the world .It is such good fun to be able to get up close to all the characters great photo opportunities.

As part of a NYC tourism card, I can understand going here. But if you are paying full price, I personally wouldnt come here. The wax figures are immaculate and interesting to look at for sure. In my opinion, save your money and go to a Broadway show where youll see famous people (or future famous people).

It was a great experience, I went in New Years I really enjoyed every moment it was very crowded because of the peak season but entry was smooth, so many celebrities statues has been placed and very neat and clean.

Its a beautiful museum and must see. However couple girls / staff where very rude and unwelcoming. People from all over the world come to see this museum, I hope if they did a better job in vetting their employees

(Wasnt real and didnt stain, Silly Willie)Your subconscious doesnt know the difference between reality and illusion, so Id recommend taking all the pics you can with the stars you like and just look at them after you leave here. Anything that makes you feel good is a good thing

It is very nice place you can almost all famous people by category like leaders, singers of movie stars. You will have option too watch short movie and play zombie games 7d. Gold tickets has option for 1 free drinks includes almost all type of non-alcoholic or alcoholic gin vodka .... except beers which I cut one star from there. They should tell that.

Ive visited Madame Tussauds in Vegas & DC... and NYC is the best one. This was my 4th time visiting.

Shorter than expected. Start on 7th floor and work way down. Bit you seem to skip a level and end is at level 4.Some were really great and some were somewhat look-a-like .We spend some time and looked into all corners. You can spend about 2-3 hours here. But not all day.I am curious how other cities hold up against the one in the big apple.

The World famous Madame Tussauds Museum is most popular attraction located on 42 nd street, Close to Time Square in New York city. The museum is spread in five floors with more than 200 wax figures of famous Politicians, Celebrities, Athletes and Musicians. The museum is systematically well organized and the wax models looks exactly like the original stars,. The models are so realistic and worth price to visit. I had so much fun taking pictures of my favourite Politicians and Superstars. Enjoy the Marvel Super heroes 4 D film experience. Overall it is really a good experience. We enjoyed much more than expected.

It wasn’t too crowded and the staff let us roam on our own which was great. There are people on the street which give out coupons and the final price of the ticket was relatively cheap. Overall a nice experience.

An amazing experience, worth enjoying it more than once.

This museum far surpasses all of your expectations. Not only are all the statues incredibly life like, but they are all instantly recognizable and relevant figures. I went into the museum expecting It to be creepy or disturbing, but it wasn’t in the slightest. The level of care taken with these figures is astounding, and Mme Tussauds is a must see attraction.

Thats great, but you should put some free lockers, because on Winter will all coats and bags... difficult.

I was a bit sceptic before my visit. But i must admit after i visited that its fully worth the money.

Below are some images that were taken. Its was 1st time and i had fun seeing how short or tall the celebs are. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that you could have purchased a combo deal for this place and Ripleys next door. They would rather promo gold packages vs experience. ( combo package image below) other than that it was good experience and a bit packed.

We had a lot of fun here. This was a unique visit that was part of our New York pass. There are some very lifelike wax models here! The exhibits are set up in a very immersive way. It’s fun taking pictures with wax statues of celebrities. The realism of these pieces is just outstanding. Down to the smallest of detail. Highly recommend to anyone. They also have cheap New York clothing available at the check in desk.

What trip to NYC is complete without a stop at @nycwax ? We had an amazing experience fighting off ravenous Zombies, watching Ghostbusters at work & hanging out with celebs. Seeing PrincessDiana was a special treat. Having never been to one before, we had no idea what to expect. We enjoyed every minute of the time we spent here and look forward to going back with our girls. I cant recommend this high enough.

Amazing place. Visited one at Amsterdam and this one at NYC. Both are great. Will definitely visit it again when there is a chance. Very detailed wax model. I enjoyed reviewing them. Special thanks for Avengers and 4D cartoon. I liked it.

An absolutely AMAZING experience!! This place was SO cool, they have everyone from actors, presidents, writers, superheros, the list goes on and on. All of the wax figures are SO well done. Some of them are so good that they seem real. I would be lying if I said I didnt mistake a wax figure for a real person during my tour.

One of the best places to visit in new york, you will just love the wax is being used to make celebrities statue. These are so nicely made even sometime you got confused and think that its real but its not. Ticket can booked in advance from madam Tussauds website that will to speed up the process and you can skip the lines. Its walking distance from the times square.

I had a great experience at the New York Madame Tussauds! I was pleasantly surprised by just how realistic the wax models were, it was pretty surreal. Also Taylor Swift was there which made it extra amazing ;)

It has done honor to its name. It exceeds the expectations. The wax mannequins are life like and really compelling. They have movies section wax statues, section for famous personalities like Einstein, jimmy fellon, movie stars. The most exciting section was U.S. presidential was mannequins. The kardesian family has also found their place in the museum. They were also broadcasting a short 4D avengers movie (yes, it was fun!)

Staff is very good. I have never seen a place with so many young employees that understand what respect and common courtesy are. The displays when I went were pretty good but I advise skipping the 4d show unless you have kids. Also, found New York sweatshirts on sale for $10 in souvenir shop. It was a good decision to stop here while on vacation.

This is my first visit to the wax museum. Madame Tussauds New York have excellent quality wax statues of famous personalities. Great experience, my son loved this place. My entry was included with the New York Pass. Value for Money.

A lot better than the U.K version. Various themed attractions. We did not go to the 4D cinema.

Huge place! 9 levels. So much to see! We used an explorer pass and this was one of our options. Wheelchair and stroller friendly.
