This was one of the best tours I have been on. Matt was an excellent and informative guide. He was so kind and energetic. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was Tony - very friendly, warm, made us feel comfortable. Was very well researched, very good story teller - we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Tony for making this an awesome experience on the coldest night in the city.

Shannon was a great guide! She was friendly, had the stories down pat, and was good with the kids on the tour! Shannon also handled a man interrupting the tour asking for money professionally but also empathically without the tour going off the rails. There was someone on the tour who complained about everything and Shannon was very accommodating and pleasant dealing with this. One thing I would change which has nothing to do with Shannon is the number of people allowed on the tour during COVID. There were too many people to be able to safely social distance and still be able to hear the stories. Once the main tour ended and it was only the people who paid for the extended tour it was much better. There were only about 9 of us on the extended tour as opposed to about 25.

We toured September 8th, and it was great! We loved having Matt as our guide. It honestly felt like we were walking around with a very knowledgeable friend, with many laughs and spooky stories. Definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this tour and I’m saddened that I have to write this review.The guide was super knowledgeable and we did learn a ton of stuff about NYC. But, that’s where the good stuff stops. The guide, I believe it was Matt, was rushed and walking so fast that we had to jog a couple of times to catch up. At one point, he went so far ahead that we didn’t know where he went, so we just headed back to West Village.I get it that it’s NYC and we all walk fast here, but this was insane. It was all super rushed and took all of the fun out of it.

Shannon was a great storyteller, and the stops were full of spooks and history. Shannon also handled overly-negative guests very professionally.

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. The guide really knew their stuff and kept us entertained throughout the walk and even spent a couple minutes answering everyones questions! It was a lot of fun!

If you want to learn true historical significance haunts in one of the biggest cities in the USA, i do highly recommend this tour. You will be truly amazed and stunned and surprised with various locations that are supposed to be haunted. I enjoy the historical aspect of each building with its own aspect of American history. So lets go find some spooks and enjoy the memories too.

One of the best tours out there. They really have it all. The stories are spooky as well as historical. Our whole group was having fun and our guide really made the whole experience enjoyable!

A let downThe idea of walking the streets of lower Manhattan and hearing times of old was interesting and inviting. On arrival at Washington square to meet our group and guide we found that our intimate ghost tour was a large hoard, 30 people +. Our guide made the most of the situation, his stories were laid out well but became of our group size it became an issue to compete with conversations that popped up within the group itself.A stroll through this area with a few people is work itself shuffling this hoard through small street and trying to hear detailed stories from our guide over local traffic made this ghost adventure not so ghoulish.

Educational and fun to do. As a local, I learned facts about the neighborhood that Ive never learned . Tour is walkable within a few block radius. Tour guide is highly knowledgeable and friendly. Recommend for sure

Very interesting experience! It was more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be. When my wife came up with the idea I was skeptical, but I really enjoyed myself and so did the entire group!

Very disappointed the tour company cancelled our tour without calling or notifying us of the cancellation. We received a last minute email of the refund only a couple hours before the tour was set to start without an explanation of the refund. The weather was in the 40s and rainy but with the website saying rain or shine, we were confused of the refund email. We had already left to go to Greenwich Village for dinner/tour so it made it even more irritating. If the company wants to cancel the tour but please contact the customers and do so as soon as possible.

I really enjoyed myself on this tour! There was a bit of walking but not so much that it was uncomfortable, it was a very neat experience that I am looking forward to doing again in the future :)

L aways wanted to do a tour like this and this certainly did not disappoint. We were travelling from Ireland and like most others doing this tour, we have a fascination with the afterlife and such. Tony did not disappoint, this tour was very fulfilling indeed. He was joined by another lady who lives in Greenwich village and they were a great duo for the night. This tour was one of my favourite things about my holiday in NY and so glad I got it in.

Super fun tour. Our tour guide really understood how to put on a show for us. Me and my girlfriend have been on a few ghost tours but this one was a lot more interesting and less cheesy than the others. Would recommend especially for a date.

My family and I were in town visiting some friends and we decided to do the NY Ghost Tour to kill some time. My friends had taken the tour before and enjoyed it, so we went and I’m glad we did. The guide took us to many different locations and kept us entertained the whole way with haunted history about the area. Some things I had never even heard before about NY. I would go again!

The thing that I love the most about ghost tours is that you get so much history about the city you are visiting. This tour was no different. It was such a cold night and I commend the guide for even being there, because brrrrrr. The guide walked fast, but then again, I think it was a combination of being a New York guide and it being cold. Great information, the guide took time to ask if we had questions and was friendly the entire time.

We had Tony as our guide and he was absolutely wonderful. Not only did he share awesome facts but he kept things interesting and totally spooky. Would love to do it again!

Entertaining, interesting, spooky, and historicalI had a great time on this tour. The guide Becky was great and our tour group was small, under ten people. The tour was about 90 minutes long, and we covered a lot of interesting facts about the city Ive never heard before that fed right into the eerie stories of hauntings that happen at each of the places we visited. I think its a hidden gem worth checking out.

Went out with a few girlfriends on this little spooky tour and we had a blast! The tour guide knew what they were doing and made it fun for all of us. Would do this again!

I really enjoyed my experience with this tour company, their guides are exceptional and really care about the history of the area and all of the locations you get to visit on the tour. We were recommended to try the EVP detector and we weren’t disappointed! The whole experience is a must for people who like ghosts and haunted places.

I toured with Tony back in March with a family reunion group, and he was fantastic. Scary stories and history, we learned so much and left feeling eerie. I take ghost walks everywhere I go and this one is pretty good!

I had a great time on the tour. Becky led us around a 4 square block area around lower manhattan. She was a great story teller and kept the kids interested. It went by fast even though it last over 2 hour. Would go again in a different part of town.

We didnt expect anything scary to happen but we saw shadows and heard unexplained noises, it was soo creepy and fun!

Our group was packed but our guide was super patient with the enormous amounts of questions that came his way, I couldn’t do his job lol. The guide really knew how to get everyone in the “creepy” mood as we walked and saw the sights.The creepiest place is the church and the marketplace square...the overall feeling of the heebiejeebies hits you there! So much fun!!!!!

We toured with Glenn, visiting from Las Vegas. Our first time in new york and loved it! This ghost tour was a quaint and unique experience we didn’t expect to find here. Great combination of history and scary stories and hauntings.

I took the tour of lower manhattan this weekend and it was a great time. My group had about 15-20 people in it. Our guide was a young lady that knew every piece of history at the locations we visited. Old Churches, a speakeasy from the 1920s, old hospitals, one was even the countries first insane asylum. The tour last a little over 2 hours and everyone in my group seemed like that had a good time. I will come back for one of their other tours of another section of the city.

We went on a Tuesday night and our tour guide, Brittany, was excellent! It was just the two of us, and it was so fun! We learned so much about the different ghost places and had a great time. Loved it, 10/10 recommend.

This tour was is pleasant surprise in NYC!It was nice to get away from the usual tourist activities and learn some things about the city beyond Times Square and Fifth Ave.
