There are baseball diamonds and tennis courts here which is great. They have a little park for the kids and Id give 5 stars if the city of Chesapeake would take care of the wasp problem on the play structure. One time 3 years ago, my daughter was bitten/stung due to walking under the structure where there was a large wasps nest, then just recently there was another in another location on the structure. Its not safe for kiddos. I get they can always come back, but these nests have been large and would have taken a while to build, if it were well kept, it would be a different story.

Nice little playgrounds for the kids. Saw an osprey building a nest and shrieking at us. Tennis courts and baseball fields in the same area. Located right under trees so itll always be in the shade. Located right next to the YMCA.

This park has a variety of kid.play areas. Lots of land, basketball courts, picnic areas, stages, and the list goes on. We had a family reunion and many festivities here.

Had a great time out here playing some softball even though we got smacked and I definitely reminded myself but it is not my sport. But very well it felt safe with the kids out there close to the baseball field.

Fields are in pretty good shape. Dont know what shape they are in during or after a rain shower. Need more space in the dugouts.

Great place for softball and tennis with some Kid friendly jungle Jims. Downside is bathrooms are portable.
