I was surprised to see an American Elm as the centerpiece
Multiple military service and Gold Star family monuments...all in one location. Have names of locals who gave their all for our country. If you dont mind wiping a tear...a good place to stop and see.....
It is a small memorial tribute park located near Munson. It is a hangout for the homeless whom drink.
Its a beautiful place. No bathroom which sucks if having a picnic. But as the evening closes in the homeless seem to gather here. There have been so many times where there are police just crawling all over the place. It seems dangerous. The homeless will hound you for your phone or ciggerettes.
Very well maintained!
Its dirty with trash everywhere
The park down by the river is beautiful. The Boardman river has never looked better. The monument up on the corner is invariably holding something, a Horizon Books bag, a rubber duckie, wearing a Santa hat
Honored as Gold Star family, very honored!!!
Fairly nice park, needs a little more tending to and care.
Nice peaceful park reasonably quiet setting for being in town a lot of seating. Picnic tables and a pavilion area in case of rain a nice tribute to the veterans in the area
10:00 a.m today is the Memorial Day tribute to our fallen heros who paid for the freedom we enjoy today.... [With Coast Guard Air Station TC, the 182nd Reserve Unit, the National Guard and members of the Kingsley High School Choir]
It was very emotional and heartwarming
Amazing tribute to fallen soldiers.
Very nicely laid out memorial. Peaceful setting and a great place to reflect on those that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
R.I.P.
No bathroom
Nice Veterans memorials!
Beautiful memorial.
