Excellent township park on a beautiful lake. Sandy beach area with shallow to deep swim area. Gets very busy on weekends around noon in the summer but starts clearing out by 4:30. Sign says swimmers itch, but we have never gotten it.

Very nice family atmosphere. Was not crowded at the time we were there. Very, very nice to have parking on the same side of the road eliminating crossing of a busy roadway.

Ive been coming to this area since I was a little kid. Nice to have a good parking lot, nice little dock, nice place!!

Excellent family friendly beach and park. There is a dock available for boats to pull up and walk across Long Lake Rd to grab snacks and pizza at Long Lake Grocery. Swimming area is slightly rocky at the start, but sandy throughout. Grills, bathrooms, and shade or sun available for relaxation.

Peaceful spot with very clear water. Great swimming and small beach for kids. Able to grill a picnic lunch. Toilets available but take hand wipes as no sinks.

Its a nice little place, no big crowds here. Nice little beach, great for families with youngsters.

Nice calm little beach on long lake with direct access to long lake grocery for any bbq or drink needs across the street. Usually pretty relaxed during the weekdays and decently busy weekends definitely a nice change of scenery opposed to the beaches along the bay. Usually enough places to park rather easily depending on the day or time. Bathrooms onsite and 2 permanently fixed grills for bbq type food. Along with perfect areas for tree hammocks.

Nice place to swim

Parking was a bit cramped, but the beach/park area, bathrooms, and store across the street made for a great day. Will definitely be back!

Love this beach for the family, great beach and a gas station/grocery store with great pizza. Been taking my kids there for years. Good place for family grilling too

Nice park with sandy beach and dock. The beach is regularly tested for water quality and there are warning signs about swimmers itch...so I didnt let my children swim.

Very quaint little park. Handicap parking and ramp were a bonus! Bathrooms, life ring, and pump to rinse feet off.

Nice place to swim and grill. Long lake is always much warmer than the big lake.

Small public beach. Just enough to get in the water, albeit very cold water!

Beautiful area. However, there was a sign I only saw after I went into the water, that says Swimmers itch may be present towel dry often. After a little bit of research, I found out that Swimmers itch are parasites born by infected fresh water snails that cause skin irritation. So there is that to look forward too.

Nicely kept park with clean bathrooms. Swimmers itch once in a while and even with numerous signs saying no dogs people keep bringing their dogs with them

Clean, well maintained little park on the most beautiful lake west of Traverse City.

It was a good spot for the kids to learn to paddle board. Not too many people and nice sandy beach.

Theres a sign saying there may be E coli but its not very specific as to whether it is a problem right now or not.

Way too many ppl, way too busy
