Wine was absolutely wonderful! My significant other and I enjoy wines on different ends of the spectrum and both loved what we would normally go for but also very much enjoyed types that would normally not go for. Atmosphere was wonderful. Great views. Staff were very attentive and made the wine tasting experience even more fun! Shout out to our host Chris!

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Evan was absolutely AMAZING. Out of all the wineries we went to this weekend this place was the only one that offered cute food plates. They only do tastings if you make reservations before hand but they do flights. $17 for a flight of mixed or $18 for whatever you want to try. You get 4. It’s about $8 for a glass. What a BEAUTIFUL property with indoor and outdoor seating. Walk ups are welcomed and the employees are very knowledgeable and nice. Some of the best customer service so far.I really enjoyed the cider, the Riesling, and the Grigio.I loved the rustic feel here. Very laid back.

Wine is good, view is amazing, love the outdoor patio. There was live music which is always too loud. Would be nice to have it lower so we could talk at a normal level without yelling to the person right next to you. Service was great. Nice people. Great way to end the day in Traverse City.

Great views and patio!Great spot to get a glass of wine and enjoy the scenic views near traverse city, especially later on the day when most are closing down. White wines here are better then the reds in my opinion but I am a bit picky.

A small group of us toured several wineries in the area. Rove was way above the rest because of the staff. The staff was so knowledgeable about the winery and the wines it produced. They created a great experience and the wines were exceptional. The venue was modern and made for a great time!

Great location. Close to Traverse City on M72. Up on a hill overlooking the vineyards and expanse of trees in the area. Would be a good place for events like a wedding reception or bridal shower. Looked the wines, but none blew us away. Thats the reason for four stars. The pinot grigio was excellent. Of the reds, the merlot and pinot noir were our faves. The service was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly. Prices are on the high end for flights. If you know what you like, youre better off buying a bottle.

My husband and I LOVE Rove Estates! There are always our first stop when when make the trip from Grand Rapids to Traverse City, no matter the time of the year, Jan or July. The wine and cider types are expansive (something for the sweet white lovers or those new to the fun of wine tasting and several optioms for those who love a complex red), the staff are personable and knowledgeable and there are several perks to being members. (Membership is free and comes with several benefits) The view of the vinyards from the patio and from inside the tasting room is beautiful. We have never felt rushed at Rove, they fully embrace allowing customers time too enjoy their laid back, yet classy environment.

Starting with the drive up to this Vineyard, everything about it is absolutely beautiful. The building itself is rather small with just a spot for the wine bar and a few shelves with souvenirs and products. The wine is incredible. Small snack plates were available. We got the Cherry Salsa with chips & their original plate. Both were excellent. An amazing place to unwind and relax a little.

I really hate to give such a nice winery a lower review but service means a lot which I had some trouble with. I also wish that the indoor section was a larger. It was raining when we went there and felt very snug inside with everyone standing around. I loved the white wines, my girlfriend and I both got flights of different white wines. The 2016 Chardonnay is the best I’ve had so far and we even bought a bottle.Everything else seemed to fall short, after we were served our flights we wanted to order a snack so we tried but some groups came in & it got busy. The server said we will have to wait because the limited staff couldn’t serve drinks and get the food made. We said sure, we didn’t mind waiting but I think he honestly forgot about it.After that we finished our wine and continued waiting, we looked at the drink menu and decided we wanted to try some other wines. Nobody came back to check on us (even after it cleared out significantly) and it was supposed to be a special birthday night. We decided that we’d just get the ‘16 Chardonnay and head out. We really wanted to try more from this place but didn’t get the chance. I probably wouldn’t come back here for that reason but I will definitely consider ordering the Chardonnay online.

The view was great! The service was mediocre at best. Other ppl there had larger menus but we were only given short ones and were were told to choose sweet or dry. Im not much of a white wine drinker but I tried them. Some of the others that we were not offered looked like they might have been good. No description, or history just the name of the wine and a very small pour.

The wine was great. The person serving us was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were there when they first opened. We we introduced to one of the owners. The views! Went there on the Hunt for the Reds of October & what a view! The heaters were on outside & they have blankets available to cozy up outside with a glass of wine. We visited 18 wineries & this view was the best. Its like a portrait, a gift from the Lord above. I cant even imagine how breathtaking it would be when the fall colors pop. Gorgeous template. The backstory is riveting as wrll. This place, like fine wine, will only get better with age.
