Great place to have a picnic or get-together!

This is a great place for families. Has barbecue, picnic, playground areas, bathrooms and a swingset that is so slightly over the water! The sand is clean, the area is very safe and I think its one of the best beaches this year in Traverse City.

It’s a bit silly why a park doesn’t even allow dogs on leashes. Understandable not on the beach. But they will tell you to leave even if you are sitting peacefully with your quiet dog on the grass watching your kids play at the playground.

Beautiful place to play on the Grand Traverse Bay!! Usually less crowded than the Traverse City Beaches. Has a lot of historic information about the Greilickville area on the walkway. Public restrooms, nice sandy beach, and a fun playground for children makes this a great place to come spend the day!

Very nice little beach clean beach area with a cool playground. Also has multiple covered tables and areas for larger groups. Only issue is that there isnt much beach room and it can get busy during tourist season.

Hidden gem!!! Perfect for young kids. Awesome playground, nice beach, and even some walking area. Can see some boats as well! Great for a small family (2yr old and 2 mos old)

Excellent beach and play area out of the way of most of the crowds. My family loves this place, so glad we found it! Clean beach on the Grand Traverse Bay, fun play area for the kiddos, volleyball for the older ones, and well kept bathroom areas. Along the trail from the parking lot also is a lot of information about the history of Greilickville which is fascinating to see and learn about. Love coming here in the summer!

Amazing park right on the water. There was even a swimming area. The water was so clear and refreshing, located right by q beautiful beach like town. Such a neat spot to chill at for the day.

One of our favorite.

My experiences go way back because I used to take my children to this beach. It has since been beautifully upgraded to a small but easily accessible park. It has a picnic pavilion,tables, trees for shade and a state-of-the-art bathroom building.

Great new clean park and facilities. Beach is nice. Nice place to bring and watch the kids play . And see the tall ships come in and out of the bay.

Very nice park!! Very clean and I love the fact that its on the beach and they provide beach toys for the kids to play with. My son loves going there.

Nice park. Good play structures, 2 shelter areas with tables, flushing toilets, and plenty of beach.

Play structure is close to the beach which makes monitoring multiple kids with different agendas a little easier. BBQ pits for grilling out and covered picnic area.

This is a very nice park that is just outside of Traverse City, Michigan. There is a beautiful public access sandy beach, a paved walkway that takes you along the water and a beautiful view of the harbor.The park also has restrooms that are clean and private.My wife and I are planning on bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy the afternoon here on our next visit to the Traverse City, Michigan area!

Nice park with 2 pavilions and grilling areas. Also bathrooms and a foot wash area. Nice clean beach area. Nice volleyball court and playground area as well. Good for families.

The company I work for rents the main area yearly for a picnic. Never had any issues and people are respectful. Great view!

There are so many roots in the beach

Great park & beach. We love coming to this park & beach. From birthday partys on the lawn to having a wedding on the beach and even graduation partys at the pavilion its a great place to gather. They have public bathrooms and free parking, wheel chair accessible and is conveniently located on beautiful west grand traverse bay.

Really cute park, we came here for a Scuba Dive “Treasure Hunt” and would go back just to enjoy it sometime.
