Very cute park! I brought my takeout food here to eat. There were quite a few picnic tables to sit at, and trash cans to throw away garbage. The play areas looked well taken care of, and there was plenty of space to run around.

Just learned why this place is called F & M park. Super cool, gotta love history. Also this park is just chill. Kids playing on the playground, shooting hoops or just sun bathing. They have a big gazebo, picnic tables & plenty of shade from all the trees. There is also a little hand made house with books to take or leave. We stopped & read a winnie-the-pooh book.

Grew up in this neighborhood. A city block big with a court for hoops, slide & merry go round. Condos across the street are new but still pretty much the same. Nice trees.

Always had good experiences here and many of the summer parades occur here. For Norte bicycling and all the LGBTQ events are hosted and started from this park. Beyond that it is a family friendly environment and old fashioned style where its homey feel to it. Exceptionally good park.

What a great neighborhood park. Nice area, big playground for events, and the boys love the gigantic train playhouse. Just a stones throw from the main drag in the residential area, this is a great place for a picnic or a break from a bike ride along the lovely TART trail. Stop by!

I used to go to this park when I was a kid and I loved it. Its nicer now and the train they have to play on is like a million times safer. However, if youre an old fat guy and you havent jumped off a swing since you were a young skinny guy, be careful. I ended up hurling myself into the ground face first and it hurt my body and pride very much. My wife let me spin her on the marygoround until she was ready to throw up.... So I had a great time

La

Plenty of space to run around and have a good time, swings, mary go-round, basketball court, big train play ground, balance beams, gazebo and slides. Pretty much the whole gambit, from 2 to teenager it has something for everyone.

Old school merry go round, swings, and I watched a falcon kill a small bird here. The train play place is new, my husband used to come here as a child and he said it used to be an old wooden train playground. I dont have kids, but its a pretty romantic spot to hang out when its not busy.

Consists of a open field area, basketball courts and a playground area with swings. Near downtown Traverse City it is conviently located to spend a hour or two at. Partial trees on the outter edges of the park provide for hammocking.

Wonderful for space and accessibility. It does benefit from seasonal port-a-potty access, but they need to get something there permanently. Its one of the few places available in town during school hours.

Its free. Parking is available on the street. Covered Gazebo, grills and an updated playstruture that looks like a railroad train. Space to play catch or let the kids burn off energy. Its close to downtown and walking distance to great BBQ at Sparks BBQ or Bubbas Burgers.
