The waterfront is always my undoing. I love being on the water and people watching. This time though due to C-19 the place was ghost like. It didnt help that the entire pier was mostly shut down due to repairs and modernization. It still was fun to visit and never miss it when I am there.

Tourists from all over stop here. Lots of shops and plenty of out door seating to enjoy a snack, people watch or just take a break. Remember Seattle is hilly, so lots of exercise if you walk.

One of my favorite places to visit. The pier, the public market, and many wonderful shops and attractions for you to stop, linger, and enjoy. You can spend the whole day here. And on a nice day when the weather permits, do take the bay cruise, you wil enjoy it.

There is a lot to see and take in at Pier 55. Of course there is the giant Ferris Wheel, but there is also tons of places to eat and plenty of places to shop as well. There is a cool automatic organ that you feed a dollar and it plays music really loudly. It is tucked on the side of the Ye Olde Shop. There are binoculars to view the sound from, but even without there are good views to be seen. There is obviously ton of people, so the earlier you get there, the better if youre trying to beat the crowds. I would definitely recommend checking it out of youre in the area. Great place to take the family.

Lots to see and do here. Some is average tourist fare with typical overpriced attractions. The ferris wheel however is definitely worth it with directly views. In the event you are visiting Seattle, Id rate it as a must experience short of it pouring rain which would hamper visibility.

Ra

It should be better place and tourist attraction spot. But it is below my expectation. The shops is too few, the pier is too short and can not accomodate many stores. The significance structure is the ferries wheel. They should renovate and improve the pier to become San Francisco’s fisherman wharf.

We went to Blake Island for the Tillicum experience! We have done this several times. This is a great thing to do with people visiting from out of town. The food is delicious, its a great experience. I love walking around the island. I like taking my own boat to Blake island more than the cruise because we get to explore the island more.

Loved the experience. Although Seattle isnt what it used to be. I lived here about 20 years ago. Its changed a lot. Not for the best Id say but its still cool. Watch your kids through the gum alley and bring your sanitizer lol..Im a mountain guy so Id never live there but for some its home. Even next to the freeways. They need to do something to help get the homeless off the streets. Clean it up and it would be a great place. Still is. Id love to take a Hosty pressure washer to the gum alley lol..Think my kids got contact high walking around the city. Overall it was fun.

We took the trip to Blake Island to learn about our native peoples and it was amazing I highly recommend this trip!!! You leave from Pier 55 to take a boat to Blake Island. At the island you get to eat dinner which is salmon cooked in the native fashion and it was amazing! We took the entire third grade and it was amazing on every level I highly recommend this particular tour which I believe is called the Tilikum run.

I had the BEST time walking around and seeing so many different things! The ferris wheel was so beautiful at night! The alcohol they sell before you get on is expensive ($8 beer and $9 for white...why no red?...wine) but you do get a cute souvenir cup that Im pretty sure would hold up in the dishwasher. The people were friendly and locals give good recommendations for where to get a decent drink. I only have pictures from the ferris wheel. The rest you gotta check out!!

Pier 55 is a great starting point for any Seattle adventure. All within short walking distance (like, two minutes), youre at Pirates Plunder, the Great Wheel, the Crab Pot, and more. Definitely a tourist attraction. But a great experience, hope the new re-constructing of the pier area does not destroy whats there now. I greatly fear that what I saw posted for the area is going to change the character fro and a great iconic tourist attraction to a upscale local destination based on information I just saw posted.

Always a fun place to visit. My sisters went up in the ferris wheel and enjoyed that. We enjoyed shopping for souvenirs at one of the local shops. And we had a delicious lunch at The Crab Pot. Its interesting watch how they serve all those pots by just dumping everything on the table in front of people. Even more interesting is watching how people eat the crabs mussels clams shrimp corn and potatoes or whatever else comes in the pot they ordered. Our cousin from Wales met us here in 2013 and we were excited to go here again. We had a table along the windows on the south side.

The Agrosy harbour tour starts from this pier, The tour is good who is looking for some good sea experience. But there is one more good option which tourists are not aware of. Take ferry(big ship) from Pier 52 and go to Bain bridge Island. This is so good place, you will find shuttle to Casino once you reach there, a very good Vegas style casino. And good thing is last ferry from Bainbridge to Seattle is at 01:00 so you can enjoy a lot at the island in only $8 round trip.
