Very cool park where the equipment are the sculptures. Each piece of equipment being more or less tagged by graffiti in some way, but this has great industrialist vibes that would surely make Ayn Rand blush. With that said, she’d probably cringe at the small homeless encampment inside of the pavilion.Other than that, great views of Seattles skyline and a stunning place to visit on a clear day!

Great view of the skyline of Seattle! I spent a couple of hours at the park with my family last week. My son enjoyed playing on the playground and throwing rocks in the water. I do have to say the park does have a graffiti problem and there is a homeless community that lives there in tents.

Interesting way they took an old 19th century gas refinery and turned it into something not only picturesque but usable. I enjoyed the brightly colored piping. And the interesting architecture that was still up. The View on the top of the hill is spectacular and you can see the entire Seattle skyline. Theres a large amount of geese, so be careful, geese arent always the nicest and they leave a lot of excrement around.

Alcohol consumption is illegal, although Ive seen people drink but discreetly.Tip: dont forget to eat a blanket, the park is filled with dried poop.

Gas Works Park is a beautiful park that is great for running or walking, especially when the Seattle skies are sunny. It has some interesting structures to look at, and honestly I dont know whats going on at this park... but its all about the view. Theres a short, grassy hill you can climb up to get an AMAZING view of Seattle. Its perfect for a jog, hanging out with friends, a romantic picnic date, reading a book, or contemplating life. As it looks over a sliver of Lake Union, you can watch crew (rowing) practicing. Its a very soothing place to be.

Restoration of the Hermitage changed it from a historical Gran Dame to an overdone Hollywood starlet. The bumps and bruises on Gas Works Parks attractions are what gives it character.
