Located on Capitol Hill on the corner of Broadway and Pine, listening to Hendrix on vinyl is electric, the sculpture recaptures that energy. Props to the artist and props to Seattles art scene.

Loved the statue and what/who it represents. Definitely a music icon, on our was through Washington we will check out his grave site as I imagine that would be better and have less meth heads yelling to my kids for spare change. The crossing area on the roads by the lights were cool with the rainbow designs. Even spots on the sidewalks that have various dance steps numbered out for you lol

I concur with some of the other reviews. Odd spot and a little smaller for such an icon and legend. I wish it was huge! That is the only reason I knocked it down a star. Odd location but still so random that it makes it cool. It fits the Seattle personality.

The Jimi Hendrix Statue is pretty sweet . Its on Broadway and its easy to find . Bring your camera to get some cool pictures while your there . This place where the statue is very close to the road so you can see it when you drive by in your car . Its a cool place to visit with your family and friends there lots of things to see and do on Broadway there lots of food places to eat at very close by this statue. #love

This wasnt worth the trouble. The neighborhood is sketchy, and the statue is hardly worth seeing in person. If youre a die-hard Jimi fan, maybe youd like it. But I personally didnt see what all the fuss was about.Go see Volunteer Park if youre headed in this direction. That has real attractions that are worth your time.

This statue is a must for all diehard Jimi Hendrix fans! It is a beautiful ode to the greatest guitar player to ever grace the earth. Since he passed away decades before I was born, I will never have the honour to watch him perform live! I am envious of all those who got to attend his shows, especially Woodstock. Thanks for this statue, it is absolutely amazing! Jimi HendrIx forever!

It deserves a better location than a street corner. Perhaps the park nearby? Or on the college campus across the street? Jimi Hendrix was more than a phenomenal guitar player. He was an extremely creative artist and musical visionary. I had the good fortune to see him play live many, many years ago. Truly an experience.

This statue could be alot bigger better lit and cleaner. We have more prominent statues of obscure garbage thats supposedly called art all over Seattle. Really a disgrace to a rock icon the shape its in.. Miss you Jimmy! We rocked with you at Woodstock.. You dared to step out of the norm and shape rock n roll with your uncanny guitar licks and inimitable style. You opened up our minds and found another home. We know youre not alone

A Seattle music scene touchstone to a widely beloved era of music that dared to break new ground and challenge their audiences, questioning even the government. I hope they add an animatronic one eventually because as much as id like to make a dance video here, i feel that for once in his storied career, Jimmys performance would be rather lackluster, static, and unenthusiastic.
