This is beautiful on the inside. Even the elevator was gorgeous. Now it is $14 per person to go up to the bar on the 35th floor, but you get great views of the city and really good drinks.

While visiting town I visited the Smith Tower. I waited 30 mins for the next table to be available. Security guys were polite and helpful. I paid $14 to go up to the 35th floor where the restaurant and the observatory deck are. Food is good, Drinks are fancy, tasty and very pricey. I ended up paying $60 for their “Chinese Room Soba Noodle” Salad and Two drinks, I guess you’re paying for the view and the Fancy drinks. The 360° view of Seattle is beautiful at Sunset!! You can stay up as long as you want, I did felt that I was being rushed to leave by my server, I was planning on having more drinks but she brought me my check as soon as I finished my noodles lol. It’s definitely of cool place to check out if you’re visiting Seattle, or just for a romantic date.

Great date night! This was a fun place to go for city views and a drink. While exploring a historic landmark in our city. There is a short exhibit to walk through that provides some history on the building before taking the elevator up. It was busy at 8 pm on a Saturday, but we still didn’t have a problem finding a window seat. We spent just about an hour here, however you could easily double that by enjoying a meal. Recommend buying the Groupon. It’s about $20 for two people and that will save you about $10. Highly recommend doing this if you’re a local or tourist!

Better views than the Columbia tower. I absolutely loved the views of the Puget Sound from the bar and the balcony at the top. What I didnt expect was the self guided tour through the history of the building - mostly focused on the 20s. The bar has a great selection of drinks. Service was more on the casual side when we went, so make sure you have time to truly sit down and enjoy a drink if you plan on partaking in libations.

Cool spot with some great views, especially at sunset. Grab a drink at the speakeasy up top and enjoy the view. The history and decor take you back to the 1920s and let you learn a bit more about the history of Seattle. No views of the space Needle from here but you still can see Mt Rainier.

The view up at the observatory is awesome. Its not too high up like the columbia observatory but high enough to enjoy the view. The building has so much character. The food at the bar is great too. Its a good place to chill with friends and family. If you are a Washington local, you will get great discount. Remember to bring your Washington id.

Beautiful historic building offers a self guided tour on the way up to the observation deck on the 35th floor. You can walk all the way around the building for a panoramic view of downtown at the end opposite of the Space Needle. The tour is good for kids: lots of old-time office equipment like switchboards they can get their hands on. The bar at the top has tasty craft cocktails and food.

Ive always loved Smith Tower, and the fact that they have a phenomenal observation deck experience complete with comprehensive museum exhibit is amazing. The experience is streamlined, historically informative and even worth it to get a membership as a local in WA state. The service is top tier, and the food is excellent. While the portions arent phenomenally generous, they have excellent food and a myriad of unique and high class cocktails to choose from. The venue caters to dressing up for a fancy evening, or having a more casual but classy meet up with friends and associates. I personally will always take my business friends from out of town out to the Smith Tower.Their precautions with COVID have been solid, and I have no doubt their staff has been operating in the upmost professional manner regarding taking the pandemic seriously.

This place was filled with amazing history stories, historical artifacts from the roaring 20s, a cool old fashion elevator and an awesome rooftop experience. You get to walk around the whole tower outside - literally 360 views , protected of course with birdcage like bars. They also has a decent happy hour and fancy hot teas. We personally really liked the free photobooth that we then got to email the photos to ourselves to then post on social!

I have visited this place once a decade, its the best its ever been. I would pay an extra $20 to tour the living area upstairs, and an extra $10 to go in the bubble. This is a super adventure after you take the underground tour.

Tour is reasonably priced and provides an outstanding view to the south, east and west for some distance. Looking north directly into downtown. Before entering the elevator there is a short self guided tour of the towers history. At the observation level there is a restaurant bar along with the observation deck. The restaurant is decorated in an turn of the century Chinese style. The interior of the building entry area on the first floor is beautifully decorated in brass, onyx and granite

Paid a nice chunk of change to access the observatory when we just wanted to go eat at the restaurant. 3 locals paid $44 when on the website it says $14 per person but I never realized it until it was too late The restaurant and the observatory are on the same level. And it seemed like you have to go through the restaurant to get to the observation deck. So paying to get access to restaurant is BS. The observation deck is caged with white bars that makes taking pictures and even viewing just terrible. The menu is limited with food tasting average. Service was excellent, fast and friendly. Its a nice place to check out but why would I come again with my out of town guests when the alternative is more reasonable and still attractive.

Smith Tower is a pretty neat little historical spot in downtown Seattle. It has some interesting history behind it and you can find out all about it through the tour they have (which also allows you to go to the top). The elevators are super old which is cool, but the view from the top is great, and it has a little bar up there which is nice (you can also order food depending on the time of day). If you havent been up there, its worth the few bucks to go see the view.

Smith tower was a fantastic experience even for a local. The views out of the tower are breathtaking and the food and drink service was top notch. The history at the bottom of the tower was really interesting and provided lots of opportunities to interact and learn about Seattles early history and the Smith Towers influence on the west coast. The Asian themed bar and restaurant offered a plethora of options for food and drinks that were not specific to Asian cuisine so dont worry if that isnt your cup of tea. The only downside is the caging on the outside walkway doesnt cover you from any rain so be prepared if you venture outdoors.
