I took my husband here for his birthday and it was perfect! We love this spot and couldn’t say enough good things about it! The owner came over and chatted with us and bought us a round of drinks for his birthday, he was so appreciative of us coming in during this crazy time. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cute date night spot, or just a cozy place for an amazing cocktail!!
Really a review for Mischief on the Canal food & bar. Ate there tonight and it was spectacular. The food was out of this world. We tried five different things and all were spectacular. The distillery is a lovely facility, a private world away from the busy city. It was a chilly night but a spectacular evening.
Our new FAVORITE American whiskey! It was such a great random decision to swing by and sample some of their offerings, but so glad we did! Delicious and different, love the story, the owner was gracious and her stories really helped drove home our love for their whiskey! We even had to check a bag so we could take home a few bottles!!They have gin & vodka too...stop in and give a try...support the local community and a company truly backing American farming!!
Excellent local place. Great spirits in a nice location. Friendly and Fremont
What an absolutely delightful experience! We stopped in on a whim yesterday and were blown away by the tasting, the ambiance, and most of all the kindness of Patti. The Whiskeys and Brandies we tried were no joke - and we went home with our new favorite, the Purple Tibetan (seriously if you have a chance to get your hands on a bottle of this complex goodness - do!) and a couple bottles of the friendly and smooth sipping Skagit Gold. We are so excited to check out their new restaurant when it opens - already the entrance toward the tasting room and distillery area transport you to a different time - and I have no doubt the restaurant will be worth a look as well. Thank you Patti for a lovely afternoon!
Seriously dee-lish. And the staff are top notch!
Was there for a gathering today, they open tomorrow for business. Patty and Mike are great hosts, their staff is awesome. Thanks all! Good job!
Alex indroduced us to this amazing rye whiskey at the Olive 8 Hotel. What a lovely bartender who pushes the good stuff! Guy deserves a raise!
Great Cocktails! Surprisingly good food
Amazing place with the best rye whiskey you’ll ever have
Very nice and attentive staff. Very clean. Great tasting of their goods, of course I had to purchase a bottle afterwords. They make quite a selection, I enjoyed their straight rye. They also have a nice little shop. Prices were very reasonable. I will gladly go back for more and recommend you that direction if this is your thing...or even if its not your thing but you want it to be your thing. :)
Great service and fun atmosphere. Our whole family had a great time!
Adorable small distillery in Fremont down town. The tour is $15 and comes with 4 different tastings. Side note the Gin was surprisingly good! Large assortment of cute tasting glasses. They offer small bottles of most of their stuff for around $27 so its not hard to come home with a little and make sure it mixes with your favorite drink.
Skip the chocolate factory and come here! Great value experience to taste the flights and be in good company. Tess is a wonderful spirit just like the spirits here!
Great atmosphere - suiting the Mischief theme. Whimsical and trouble-making at the same time. LOVED the Gin. Very unusual with aromatics and spices that really distinguish it from other Gins.Great outdoor venue - fun summertime concerts and events. The glass windows in the storefront allow you to see the distillery in action.A perfect fit for Fremont. Mike & Patti, owners, are wonderful people too!
Such and amazing destination spot if your doing tours, do miss this location. Not only is the Gin amazing, my personal favorite, the remaining spirits, the gift shop and the art is simply outstanding. Mike and Patti are amazing hosts and if your in your next local lounge or bar, make sure you ask for Mischief Spirits.Thank you for such a great experience.
They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The John Jacobs rye is really good and smooth considering the age.The storm tossed rye is very interesting and demonstrates how climate ages whiskey.
Best Location. Lots to look at. Canadian whiskey, bottled in house. There is a bit of a smoke and mirrors thing going on here.... Put on your blinders and have a good time!
Great whiskeys and home of the best gin Ive ever tasted. Their house still is amazingly ornate. Very good distillery!
For the location alone, pretty cool. We were there during a special event and enjoyed the space, although the cocktail was watered down and overpriced. Will have to go back and try it on a normal day.
Awesome tastings
After going to such nice tastings at other distilleries in Seattle, this was a bit of disappointment. Tasting whiskey etc in cough syrup plastic cups just doesnt do it for me. The staff was sort of half into it and hardly explained to us what we were tasting. It is too bad since it is a cute place.
Disappointing. After going to westland and getting the true whiskey experience this was a little sad affair. Tiny spot. Thimble plastic cups with tiny droplets that you couldnt even get the bouquet of the spirit. Hostess offered little explanation of the spirit. Why bother? At least have someone there with some passion for your product.
The brandy was excellent. Small little tasting room that works on tips and sales, apparently they have plans for opening up a bigger space.
In addition to making one of the best rye whiskeys Ive tasted, they know how to run a great distillery shop - there are fun nick-knacks everywhere, and theyre always very friendly.
A real gem of a place! Our host, Tara, was outstanding!
Simply outstanding craft spirits!
Nice people and great whiskey.
Top notch all around
Rude staff
Fantastic gin and rye
No tour, but you can try all their spirits for very cheap.
Best Gin on the planet.
