This bridge is available to use and walk to across. During the crossing, you can see the Seattle city and river view.Under the bridge, there is the Fremont Troll also know as The Troll or The Troll under the Bridge. In the middle of the bridge, neath of the bridge, there is a river and park which can do paddling and jogging. You can see some statue.

First and foremost this is a particularly large structure as bridges go and as well the troll that tends to the bridge is large as to accommodate for its size. The troll happens to be one of my best friends ever since he wept and explained that he wanted to go and see somewhere else.Anywhere else and to then return of course knowing only he was built to care for the bridge.I love the Fremont troll!

My feelings are mixed. It has one of the best views in the city, though the suicide fences detract somewhat. Not sure if the risk of death from oncoming traffic whizzing by at 100mph is really worth it. Great for thrill seekers, though.

It was a bridge. It works as a bridge. Got me across. BUT if you are on a bike, it is a little dodgy. I recommend taking fremont bridge if you are on a bike.

I had heard about this bridge from friends, but wasnt sure if it was worth visiting. I decided to check it out on a recent trip to Seattle. Overall, the bridge was really well laid out, and did not disappoint! Surface seemed flat and consistent with just the right amount of paint to delineate the lines. Architecturally it was a little meh but got me to the other side just fine. Not sure I will visit again, but would recommend it to my friends.

Older bridge. Once the #2 suicide bridge in the country before they erected gates and netting to prevent that. If youre walking around Seattle you can get a great view of the skyline and the Olympic Mountains from here.

Ok, so here is the deal. This bridge is cool, it has done its bridging for several decades now and hasnt had any problems there. Except one time when a bus drove off it. And several dozen/hundred people who have jumped off it. Mostly my problem with it, though, is that it is terrifying to drive across. I guess they couldnt have made it two inches wider.

Good large bridge, but scary to walk across if you are scared of heights. Its not as bad as the the Ballard Bridge though, as the fences are (unlike the Ballard bridge) its pretty much impossible to fall off.

If you are in need of a bridge experience, this one satisfies. It bridges the gap effectively - covering the entire span, from one side all the way to the other, no missing sections.
