This is a great neighborhood park to bring the kids! Lots of variety in toys and space to spread out. There is even a little sand pit equipped with dump trucks and a hand operated shovel toy for kids to sit on and dig with. There is a big grass field surrounding the toys perfect to have a picnic in or let your dog play too! The clean bathrooms were a plus as well.

It was fine and clean what i didnt like was As we were parked on the east side of the park IN THE SHADE- GETTING READY TO EAT LUNCH WE HAD BROUGHT.. THE NEIGHBORS FROM ACROSS THE STREET ( WITH THE PALM TREES ON CORNER) KEOT NOTICABLY WATCHING US- even to point where he climbed down from latter and walked to corner of block staring.. And then the neighbor of his across street to west him and his girlfriend (i assume) came out..and only he walked past my car staring..JUST TO BE NOSEY AND SEE WHAT WE WERE DOING.. At that point i was pumping ( because i was away from my child) and found it uncomfortable to have such a nosey set of neighbors to which one cannot even eat without being harrased - or perform much needed and very private LEGAL actions even with sun blocker up for privacy WITHOUT NOSEY and very rude neighbors putting their noses where they dont belong! I dont understand .. They must have extremely boring lives or more so SHOULD JUST MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS!!

This review is for the playfield only since the playground is closed. There were a lot of bees. I was nervous my kids would be stung.

Fun combination of sports field and playground. The playground has swings, a climber for older and another for younger kids. Sand area too. This is closely located to the tee ball field so you can watch both kids playing and not. There is a restroom and water fountain. Lower Ross is a baseball field for older ages. It has bleachers.

There’s a nice variety of playground equipment for both toddler size kids and bigger kids. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with soap. A half court basketball area is perfect for a game of horse or knockout. There’s a small baseball diamond at the far end of the field. The tops of the Olympic mountains are visible in the distance. On a hot day, there are a couple shaded areas to take a break.

All the equipment is super safe for toddlers, everything is laid out with enough space. The occasional homeless person is sleeping by the bathrooms so check before your little ones run around over there so they dont startle anybody.

Very well done park with nice playgrounds for both older and younger kids. It also has a swing set, small basket ball court, and good sand box which always has community toys for the little ones to play with. There is also a restroom, covered area, and a indoor space that can be rented for birthday parties.

Unique playground with lots of rope makes it a nice change from the typical play structure. Maybe not great for kids under 18 months, but lots of fun otherwise. Pretty exposed to the sun so if its a summer day bring sunscreen!

Great open play space that works for new walkers to older kids! Lots of fun clean play structures and a great sand pit with toys. And it has a clean restroom area, drinking fountain, small ball field, and a room to rent for parties etc that has a garage door to merge in and outdoors!

A wonderful example of a Seattle pocket park. One of the great things about the city is the little parks all over the city.A playground with areas for kids of different ages and capacities, baseball field and large field on a lower level. Surrounded by old trees except the ancient one they cut down which is a real shame. Counting the rings on the old tree is a nice way to practice math for the little ones and experience age of trees for older ones. Still a shame they cut it.A great park for scavenger hunts with nooks and hiding places in old tree roots etc.
