Well I was skeptical at first thinking the homeless people near by would be a bother, but it turned out to be a beautiful, quiet, relaxing time. What I enjoyed the most was the limited people that actually come into the park. Watching planes fly overhead is cool. No rest rooms though.

It is a nice little park with a pretty cool location; Beautiful green grass, & well maintained by the city! The only downfall is that there are ALOT, of homeless people living in RVs surrounding the park & by the looks of it, Id say that it has been going on for quite some time by the amount of stuff that has been acquired surrounding a few of the RVs!& I Certainly wouldnt recommend bringing children!

The park is a wonderful triangle of ground situated at the north end og King county/Boeing runways. If you enjoy watching different types of planes land and take off this is the place for you.

The park is great for aviation fans to watch Boeings operation here. However a lot of people live in old RVs and cars parked around the park. Lots of garbage from them as well. This takes away the feeling of a nice and clean park.

I find it not only judgmental but incredibly disheartening that there is so many people in this community basically shaming and speaking as a warning or beware about RVs and cars that are either parked at this park or near it. My God, this is YOUR FELLOW NEIGHBORS AND YOUR COMMUNITY, what ever happened to concern or basic human compassion for these families, adults and children that are in such an unfortunate situation that they have had to live in their RVs and cars? You think as a community helping and having humanity for them Instead of acting as if they are lower than you or not as human as you would be more beneficial for this issue for everyone! Because someone is in a situation that not only gets them judged, discriminated against, shamed and treated like a lower class citizen does NOT mean they are bad people that are any less of a person than you! They call it the Seattle Freeze for a reason I guess, shame on all you inconsiderate and plain mean people who can justify themselves for talking down about someone who is struggling Instead of helping to be a good community that cares enough about humanity to find a solution other than belittling or looking down upon them. I would hate to see you in a situation the same or worse and you being talked about or treated like a bother!

Its small & usually underutilized. Parking can be a hassle. Due to its location if you dont care for or have an interest in aircraft you will not like this park. On the other hand...I lived in Georgetown during elementary school. Whenever things got strange at school or home Ruby Chow Park was my sanctuary. Given that section of the hood its location catches you by surprise; looking around those few blocks one just doesnt expect a park right there.

Not a very big park, but certainly can see airplane taking off and touch down at Boeing field. No play structure for kids. Not too many spots in the parking lot, but there wasnt a car parked there when I went. I saw RVs parked on the street besides the park. Seems to me that people are living in the RVs.

Totally hidden in plain view, never had a clue this was a park and drove past it for years. Wonderfully interesting spot at the end of Boeing Field. Great place for airplane enthusiasts. Dogs seem thoroughly enamored with the lenient leash enforcement (knock on wood it stays that way) and happily mingle with other park patrons, canine and human alike. And dont tell anyone, not a soul, as I rarely give away such secrets, but it happens to be a prime spot for hunting 4-leaf clovers...

Cool park. I lived next to this park when I was a kid years ago. A great place to watch planes on there approach to land. Theyre so low when they flu over you probably could hit one with a rock if you wanted. In the summer during Sea-fair you can go to this park and watch the Blue Angels take off and land. Its pretty cool to see them that close. Being done kind of ear protection, specially for the kids.

A little green space on the South end of Georgetown and the extended approach path into Boeing Field. I came here for some airplane watching and while the area does provide a nice view of the airfield, it also is full of hypodermic needles and the area is surrounded by homeless living in broken down RVs. During daylight hours, safety isnt completely at risk, but I wouldnt be here once sunset approaches. This is also NOT a place to bring young kids or your date for a romantic picnic.

Great spot to watch planes take off and land at the King County Municipal Airport while taking over a Pokemon Go gym. Nearly got a superpowered Seagong in the game, today. But from corner to corner, youll encounter 5 pokestops (including the gym). Plenty of space depending on how you cope with our tempermental weather. The park memorializes Ruby Chow, King Countys first Asian American (her parents were Chinese immigrants) to be elected to their Council. She served for three terms. She and her husband also owned a restaurant - the first Chinese restaurant to open outside of Seattles Chinatown. According to the Wing Luke Museums account of the legendary Bruce Lees time in Seattle, his first job in town was working at Ruby Chows Restaurant.Ruby Chows daughter Cheryl Chow (an educator) followed her mothers call to serve the community by serving on the Seattle City Council and Seattles Public School Board. For many, Cheryl Chow also served as a role model. This was especially true for the LGBTQ community, she lived openly, with pride at a time when it as was more common to face shame and social stigma while coming out .
