This is my favorite park in Seattle. It’s right next next to a school in one of the safest neighborhoods in the city. I love coming here to take photographs of the skyline. You can also get the best view of mount rainier here when the mountain is out! There’s a playground for the little ones, benches/tables to eat at, a water fountain (that’s doggy friendly ), and a big open field! It IS wheelchair accessible. -@sweetasknives

Amazing views of the Seattle skyline, waterfront and Mount Rainier. Smallish park tucked behind an elementary school with a nice play equipment area and an open field for field games, kite flying or frisbee. The views are unobstructed due to the hillside and the surrounding single family neighborhood. Great spot for a picnic or an outing with young kids.

Fun little park on the south east side of Magnolia.Sweeping views of Queen Anne hill, some of Downtown Seattle and the port.Great place to watch 4th of July fireworks. You can see the top of the Space Needle from here as well.On clear days you can even see the snow topped Mount Rainier. They have several picnic tables, a few public grills, a few kids playground areas and a few basketball 1/2 courts. No parking lot, but there is street parking quite abundantly available.Near bus stops. No public restroom, but I have seen a few porta-potties there lately.

Beautiful views! A large playground with excellent childrens equipment and a nice path for childrens bikes, scooters, etc. Only one, not so well kept Honey Bucket, no real bathrooms and no business nearby, all residential.Lots of wide open green space. A few picnic tables (you cant reserve, so its 1st come). Nowhere to run/walk for adults. Better for relaxing, enjoying time outside, seeing the city and a gorgeous view of Mount Rainier when its visible. Street parking on one side only in a neighborhood. Definitely worth a visit if youre going to be in the area.

The park sits on a hill in Magnolia overlooking the sound all the way to downtown on a quiet, dead end street. The beautiful, gently sloping hills make for the perfect picnic spot while your children ride their bikes around the loop, play on the playground, or play a game of basketball on the court. Most park visits will only last around 1-2 hours because the kids get bored quickly but we stayed and played for over 4 hours because of the variety of activity available. As parents, being able to sit in the sun and enjoy the view and good conversation was truly wonderful! This is one of my favorite parks!

This park is nestled in what can sometimes be a sleepy magnolia neighborhood. By Seattle standards some would barely consider this a park as it doesnt even come close to approaching some of the larger parks like Cal Anderson or Volunteer Park. You might call it more of an uptown playground. But what it lacks in size it certainly makes for in the view. Come during the day and watch a sunset. Come and night and get a great view of an illuminated Seattle skyline. I prefer nighttime viewing becsuse it is quieter and easier to be at one with your thoughts. Plenty of parking here and a playground area for those that have kids. I wouldnt make this your only reason for coming out to the Magnolia neighborhood but if you are out here anyway it is certainly worth a try.
