The Fremont troll is great! Id passed by many times from Ballard to Fremont, but finally took a few moments to get up close and personal. A great structure to climb, and hilariously detailed. Definitely worth a tiny visit.

This place was a little hard to find as Google Maps didnt really get us there but we figured it out. Parking is limited but we were lucky to have been there with very few other people. The troll is massive and fun to climb around on and take photos with. And of course its free. I think its definitely worth the hassle of getting there and seeing it in person.

What a quirky, fun, creative ingenious statue! After walking over this bridge to Fremont, we looped down the stairs and here it was, this giant Troll that lives under the bridge!Apparently this Troll just reached over and caught a Volkswagen Bug when suddenly it was frozen in stone. Wish I saw the powerful wizard who froze the Troll, but the magic is strong. I was able to climb over the Trolls arms and even pick its nose with no fear of retribution! Highly recommend, especially for kids

Cant help but give it a 5 Star rating, I mean, the experience is free. My sister recommend that we visit the Fremont Troll while staying in Ballard. Im glad she suggested we visit the troll, it was really cool and a lot bigger than I expected it would be. My kids enjoyed climbing all over it while I took some family photos.

What an amazing site. We were able to see it on our last day visiting Seattle. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves except for two teens smoking pot right behind it who left as soon as we got there. Seen so many you tube videos on this location. Still dont know the story behind the troll. If youre in town I definitely recommend to stop by. Grate place and its free.

I was one of the ones who did the drive by! Coming from one way it just took me to the bridge above it. When I retried it took me to the right location. There was construction down the way so I had to turn and go back the way i came. Just as cool as I thought! And free!!

Such an awesome piece of public art...a real life troll under a bridge! Long-time residents may sneer at tourists jockeying for the perfect selfie position...theyve just forgotten the magic of the first time they saw the troll. The Fremont Troll is definitely a unique & quirky find to stumble upon under a bridge and I suppose it’s worth visiting IF you’re in the area... BUT... that having been said, I wouldn’t describe the sculpture as particularly aesthetic, well-executed, or well-kept. Sadly, some have attempted to vandalize it. There are plenty of other wonderful sights to visit in Seattle that I’d prioritize before the Fremont Troll. #StrangerThings

What a weird place. A massive carved troll under the bridge. Easily accessible by public transit with a short walk up the hill to the troll. Not much to see other than the troll. Easily walkable from the gas works park if you are looking for a easy stroll along the bay looking at the massive boats.

The troll is a great stop to combine with other points of interest in Fremont. If you go on Sunday, you can visit the Fremont Street Market which is an awesome stop for crafts, antiques, and food trucks. There isnt much distance between the market and the troll and you can see the statue of Lenin and the Rocket ship along the way!Its street parking only on the same block as the troll, but there is paid parking within the neighborhood if you want to make a day of it.

Its a little silly, but fun thing to do to find the Fremont Troll. He lives under the bridge that enters the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle. A bit hard to find but Google maps does a pretty good job of mapping it. When youre close just try to find a place to park in the neighborhood then walk to it. Also interesting to turn 180 and look under the bridge...

On a Seattle Girls Trip. Our Airbnb was in Freemont, so I was able to walk here early on Friday morning while my girlfriends were still getting around. There is a bus stop directly above the troll, so at 7AM it was pretty quite, but had foot traffic from several commuters. It was a quite way to enjoy the area. I grabbed a morning cup of coffee and went on a peaceful walk down to the Troll. I love that there is a small community garden!! The troll was fun to see in the quite tranquil environment. It has a great back story as well posted on the plaque. I did a drive by later with my girlfriends on Saturday afternoon and the place was swarming with about 20-30 tourist taking pictures. I think its a must see if you are in the area, and really enjoyed my private viewing early in the morning.

Fremont Troll one of the monuments of Seattle and his Center of the universe. Status is really interesting you claimed on the status and take pictures of your self and your family it is really easy. Everything that you see in the movies video games and books here it comes from imaginary word to reality. Famous Fremont Troll always has some company and is really hard to take a picture of him standing there alone this picture was taken early in the morning. His location is right under the Aurora Avenue actually under the bridge that connects Fremont with downtown Seattle.
