Wonderful park with a paved walkway and boardwalk completely around the clearest, cold water lake you can imagine and beautiful views if the mountains. This is a place to relax and enjoy the mountain air, or you can find paths to the summit and get a workout. I was with my grandsons, four and two years of age, and rhey walked the entirety of the loop path around the lake finding plenty of interesting things to catch their imagination and test their physical strength. There is a large picnic area with plenty of tables and a breathtaking view . I returned very calm from zhe experience.

Its not locked up at night; great upper field for night kite flying! Keep awareness tho, its not super well lit at night and anyone can be there. Ive never had an issue, but when I go I carry pepper spray. Just be smart! :)

I absolutely love this park. With an open field perfect for picnics/sitting and playing guitar, and views of the skyline and Mt. Rainier, this is such a gem in Seattle. The half mile loop is great for running/walking, and there are beautiful hidden wooded nooks between the upper and lower sections of the park. So happy I live nearby :)

Nice open spaces. Would have given it five stars if the local inhabitants were friendlier (what gives Seattle? No eye contact with people? ). And the city in the middle of fixing the public restroom that was recently burned.

Simply one of the best neighborhood parks in all of Seattle, Kids play area with their, areas to play baseball, basketball and those mini tennis courts. The walking track that circles the park gives you a video of mountains to the east and west and downtown Seattle to the south.

This party has done really nice features for being in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It has a decent playground for the kids, a walking loop for the adults, and enough open space to fly kites. But fair warning, if you intend to fly a kite be super aware of what your kite is doing. I cant tell you how many people seem oblivious as they walk under the danger zone.

A nice park with wide open space, Maple Leaf Reservoir is often filled with dogs and kids enjoying physical activity. There are also some picnic tables and gazebos and some shade giving trees (but this park has a lot more sunny space than shady areas). It is located in a quite neighborhood with shops and cafes nearby. Theres a good view of downtown Seattle in the distance. Parking is on the street with no designated lot.

Nice enough park, but very flat with very few trees. This is a runners or gamespersons park. If you like to toss a ball or a fressbee you will enjoy this park. Maybe good for dog owners, as well? If you like to stretch out under a shady tree with a good book, as I do, youll be a bit disappointed. Still cool that its here, though.

The north Seattle power sub station is located here.. there is a cool area which is accessible to the public which has been decorated with chimes, etc that is connected to the facility which lines within the park.. Its Always clean & well kept..There are always cute dogs running around in the pet area & lots of couples with their kids..a local Jewish school brings their class here to play, so Id say based on that its probably a pretty safe place to visit..Plus the awesome playground for the kids & pristine grass for your hound..there is usually plenty of street parking but during the summer you might have to park a couple blocks away..its a beautiful spot to workout at or just relax with your phone

This is a great little park in the heart of Maple Leaf! It has a nice half mile paved loop, pickle ball courts, a big field in the center, a playground, and beautiful views of Mount Rainier. Its a great place to go for a walk or a run, walk your , or just enjoy the scenery. Theres a nice coffee shop up the street called Cloud City Coffee where, if you dont get betrayed by Lando, you can grab a coffee and take it to the park. When you get done, head up the block a little further to Snappy Dragon for some good Chinese food. Oh, and the reservoir is also a Pokemon Go nest!
