CHINATOWN SEATTLE WAS A WONDERFULLY IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE...EVERYTHING WE EXPECTED...& MORE !!!

Theres a lot going on in here. Looks like gathering of people hanging out, eating. Etc. The place could be cleaned up a bit but was obviously used by many.

A large number of restaurants. I suggest to visit ones that are busy or standing in line those of Asian culture. These turned out to be the best. They also have a busker of the day which on our day played Chinese instruments.

Lion dances and fireworks were some of the entertainments to celebrate this year Lunar New Year 2020.

Went into the best tea shop and enjoyed the company. Owner was very nice.

An old Asian woman is a cashier, and she was slow. I told her that I needed a bag. In the end, she thought I didnt explain it to her. Are the employees recruited by this shop eligible?？？@USdepartment of Labor

Really cool old styling. Definitely worth a visit to check out. A ton of little food spots in the area. Dont forget to look for the dragons on the poles. Right next to International District/Chinatown Link Station and Sounders southern exit platform

The Chinatown gate was very beautiful, and leads you down a diverse street with many incredible shops and delicious bites.

Not a great area of Seattle. Found a restaurant with good food but it was old, messy, and dirty looking. One empty pet store had rats running around in it that you could see through rhe storefront windows.

Awesome gate, and one of the best Chinatowns Ive been to. The food and shopping options are nuts, and theres also a great Japanese neighborhood just north of here.

Its a place to sit for a few minutes they have chest were you can play and ping pong you could even feed the pigeons not a place I would stay for long but place to just go relax for 10 to 15 minutes or so

The gate and dragons on posts makes for a nice photo op

Chinatown gate is in downtown which is close to metro, Amtrak station and most of the tour buses start from this place.

I was there for the Night Market, its a verysmall place where youcan find several asias restaurant but i think it dontrepresent the essential of the asias culture.

It’s almost like the centerpiece of the Chinatown district when walking the streets

To me and most others its the gateway to the Seattle International District.
