In the time of COVID, my favorite place to take dates for the social-distanced park picnic is Boren Park! Right next to Volunteer and next to a quiet neighborhood that offers great street parking. Its also quite beautiful as it overlooks the university and the water (not sure what body of water - Im not from here). More quiet than Volunteer as well. People pass through and dont bother you. Good place to come by yourself if thats what youre looking for.

A gorgeous and quiet place to read, picnic, contemplate or just pass through. A romantic spot to see the mountains, lake, and watch the sunrise or sunset. I highly recommend locals check out this gem! A short walk from Broadway area, too.

Great view of the Cascades and Mount Baker. Also, there is a great hidden trail that leads down from it into Interlaken Park. The trail is marked as closed but there is nothing wrong with it. It has been marked closed for several years but I run down and up it several times per week.

One of the coolest, most peaceful, and beautiful little hideaways. Great place for reading, an afternoon nap, or even just to lie in the grass and watch the sun rise. Very well kept and in a great little neighborhood. Awesome view.

Best place in Seattle to watch the sunrise that I have found so far. There isnt too much here but there really doesnt need to be. There is a path that appears to connect up to Interlaken but it is always closed.
