I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and we had mixed feeling about this place, but we are so glad we came! We sat on the outdoor patio which is adorable (plus they have outdoor heaters if it gets too chilly!) Our waiter was excellent at helping us decide what we wanted to order and he knew everything on the menu! We had 2 pastas and 1 grilled calamari. For dessert we had a chocolate mousse! Everything was all so yummy but my favorite was the green pasta! We will definitely be returning!

The food was very enjoyable and the unlimited mimosas was a delight to behold.

Went to Maccheroni Republic last night, for the first time...what a find! Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our waiter Evon is from Sicily...very authentic! Will definitely be going back again!

One of my go-to wine bars in the city. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and an amazing wine list. My favorite part though? Half price happy hour oysters. They found the key to my heart!

Scopo Divino has a real nice vibe to it. I have yet to try their food but their drinks are pretty good. The atmosphere is great and the crowd isnt douchey like other lounges.

Attentive service, welcoming and warm. The music was great! The wine selection is extensive and I would suggest you start with a flight. We had an array of dishes that were all great, but the figs and the duck sliders were the stars of the evening.

Food used to be much Scopo Divino than it is now. but the vibe is pretty awesome. love the library bar. its def a go-to spot for the valley. it is on the pricey side.

I do not recommend this restaurant. Their over-priced wine selection misses the simple, robust CA varietals and the oysters we were served looked and tasted like they had been opened the week before.

Absolutely delicious food offerings and vast wine menu. Come for happy hour and get a few bucks off per glass. The steak and papperdelle pasta were divine. Service is also fantastic. Come sit outside on a nice night or go inside where live music plays some nights. Heads up, on the pricier side.

Nice wine bar with tasty bites. The bus stop is directly in front though so if you choose to sit outside there will be a constant load of people around. It is still a lovely place to sit outside and have a glass of wine though! They also have a decent happy hour worth making the visit for.

This place has a fantastic feel and great food, but Ive had a few problems. The first is that they are not transparent with their pricing. Do not ask for recommendations, and ask for the price of what you ordered, even if it shows on the menu. Ive had surprises two or the three times Ive gone here. The second is that I havent been offered a taste before the wine was brought, and once ended up with a wine I disliked. (I dont really believe in sending things back) In general though, the wine is great and my girlfriend looooves it, so Ill be back for sure, but the experience will never be 5 stars until I feel there is transparency and Im well served.

Best food this side of the apocalypse!

Food was fine and wines were good and reasonably priced. The only downside is that occasionally it was difficult to get the staffs attention, we had to get up and walk over to the bar for help. Its not a deal breaker, just a little frustrating when you feel that the staff are doing their best to avoid eye contact.

Not sure if it was an off night or what, but we had terrible service. Waited repeatedly. Had our first (and only) empty wine glasses taken without being offered another. Entered prior to the end of happy hour but servers avoided us until after happy hour was done to take our food orders. Doubled the amount of time that we wanted to spend there because we couldnt get someone to make eye contact so we could ask for the check. And this is all in spite of it not being that busy. Not worth a return trip.

I have a new favorite wine bar! Ambiance, great wine and great food... this place has it all. I love when wine bars have comfortable sofas, and Scopo Divino has plenty. The wine list is fantastic (it will take me a long, long time to sample all the wines they have by the glass) and the food is outstanding. Im particularly in love with the Corn and Smoked Chili Hush Puppies (for bar bites) and the Olive Oil Poached Wild Salmon. And, of great importance to me, its not particularly loud, making conversation easy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Lovely little neighborhood wine bar with an impressive little food menu as well. Booked this place last minute for a girls night out dinner on Friday. Had actually passed this place several times and am so happy I finally stopped in! The interior itself is a little small, with couch seating and small tables. The hostess was friendly and originally offered us some of the couch seating by the windows, but easily accommodated our request to move to a table so that we could enjoy dinner a little more easily. There was someone in there playing lovely guitar music in the background, which was really nice to listen to. They had a great wine menu with lots of options, with affordable bottle pricing as well. I got a class of Syrah and my friend had a class of a light white. Both were delicious and a nice accompaniment to the food that followed.For dinner we ordered a few things to share: the meatballs, the ricotta gnocchi and the steak with bernaise. The meatballs were delicious, and came with this fluffy focaccia that was perfect to soak up all of the extra marinara. The gnocchi was really delicious as well- it came mixed in with a small light salad with champagne vinegar and goat cheese. This was the first time Ive had gnocchi served this way, but it was such a great combination and the salad and vinegar really complimenting the gnocchi well. The steak was also fantastic- it came with creamed spinach and potato gratin, both of which were also delicious. The bernaise was nice and tangy and we both asked for extra for the side. The steak came out medium and I think Id ask for medium rare next time, but it really didnt take away from the meal at all. They were out of creme brulee (unfortunately) but I hope to try dessert next time Im in there.

The atmosphere is great. However, my ragu was disappointing. The pasta is soaked with water, and they put the sauce on top without tossing. Also, pasta is cooked in unsalted water. Too bland and boring.

All the seating options to suit your mood - sit with friends at the bar and chat with the staff, take a table and tuck in, or cuddle in a corner sofa with your sweetie.The service is extremely attentive, without being intrusive. The wine selection is enough to suit all tastes, without going overboard. And, the food is absolutely wonderful - mostly small plates, so you can try a few options.

Wandering around the neighborhood as tourists and happened across Scopo Divino for their first ever day of brunch. Everything about this place was phenomenal - atmosphere, food and staff! I recommend the Crogue Madame for eats. Staff was incredibly friendly and full of helpful suggestions. Definitely a must for brunch!

I occasionally drive for Uber and Lyft. After frequently picking up and dropping people off at this location and hearing over and over that they felt theyd travelled back in time to an old-world European wine bar, complete with live jazz music; I decided to check it out for my on-again and off-again tour business. I tried most everything on their menu. Because of the consistent quality, I recommend this location to romantic tourist couples after their day of sightseeing is over. Those that decide to go usually write me back thanking me for sending them to Scopo.

Great place to go with out of town guest. Food is pretty good, excellent selection of wine, and pretty good wine club.

The service, the food, and (of course!) the wine are all exceptional. And such a lovely and comfortable place to spend an evening! Im really looking forward to when their once weekly jazz nights start.

Perfect spot for some drinks and also a great place for a meal. Nice combination of chill bar and restaurant. Excellent selection of beer & wine. I really enjoyed the berzerkely beer. Dished i tasted were amazing flavors. Particularly enjoyed the stuffed peppers. Staff was tops. They obviously really enjoy their jobs.

Ive been there about once a week since theyve opened. Word is getting out so there may be a small wait from time to time, but they helped me pass the time with a complementary glass of bubbly. The food is fantastic. I think their charcuterie plate may become a diet staple for me. The wine list has good variety to explore at multiple price points and the staff have made excellent pairing suggestions. The atmosphere is quite cozy and the clientele are friendly. It is a great place to catch up with a friend or colleague.

In the kitchen, Mark is serving up great food. And, the music/sound level allows for easy conversations with the folks you are with, or those you might meet here.

Stopped here for brunch after deciding not to wait for an hour+ at Sweet Maple, and so glad we did! I had the nicoise avo toast (with the added tuna), and it was awesome. My boyfriend had the duck hash, which was also very good. We sat outside in the sun. Super enjoyable, friendly service, and no wait!! Its also right across from b. Patisserie if you need something sweet :)

Neighborhood spot with a casual, intimate ambiance. They have a great wine selection and some delicious dishes. My only gripe is that the portion sizes are pretty small for the price point.

First-rate wine-bar with a large variety of local and further-afield bottles. I didnt get to try the food, but we each had a wonderful glass of wine, served by knowledgable staff who are eager to help you find the right drink for you. I even got to try an orange wine, which Ill admit Id never heard of before. Already packed, after just a few weeks in business, and if you visit you can tell why!
