First heard of this place through a buzzfeed video and I really wanted to go. The place is pretty small but a cozy spot. They make their pasta in-house, which makes it so delicious. Service is great and they give bread before the dish is served.

One of my favorite places in SF! Lots of amazing live jazz with a chill crowd and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place for locals and tourists.

Pasta sisters was sooo great. I got two different pastas, the tagliatelle and the salmon cream. Since I saw so many rave reviews about the tagliatelle I thought it would be the best.. it was good but I wouldnt classify it as the best.

I love love love love love this place. Im a huge fan of dancing and pop remixes aka mashups. This was the perfect comboooooo!The only negative thing about this place was that the line was long and when I mean long, I mean around the corner long. If you decide to go, just make sure to get there well before 9:30.The music is loud, there are plenty of characters, the floor is packed (only up near the stage), and the air is moist. I swear I lost about 5 lbs from sweating and hearing out of my left ear for one whole day.

Great music and for a crowded bar bartenders do a great job. Got to see some amazing bands and venue was filled with friendly crowd. A great night out.

Had a wonderful night here with friends! One of the longest running clubs in the area. Free live Jazz from 6-9. Great drinks made with care at reasonable prices. Varied age groups enjoying live music. Definitely will head back again! Bar staff are funny, fast, and courteous!

Ive been here twice, and twice the music rendered it impossible for me to sit or stand still. Both the big band and gypsy jazz bands are spectacular, and I enjoyed every moment of the music. It does get extremely crowded. If you want a seat, come very early. Moving about after the crowd really gets in is very difficult, so I recommend getting your drinks early too.

Who needs a speakeasy when you can go Deluxe. Nice vibes in an old dive bar, located on the famous corner of Haight and Ashbury.

Nice intimate club with great live music and a chill atmosphere. It was packed and everyone was really into the music, with quite a few people dancing, and others sitting/standing back and enjoying listening and watching. Only $5 cover charge, cheap considering there was an entire band playing.Could have better service. The two tables we snagged were covered in dirty glasses that werent cleaned up before we left more than 30 minutes later. Also, the womens bathroom was a bit dirty and out of toilet paper.

We came here as a group of three on a Saturday night and were lucky enough to find a seat right in front of the band.The band playing on that particular night was absolutely fantastic and treated us to an hour of knockout performances. The place doesnt take reservations but has ample place to stand if you cant find seating.They have a full whiskey bar with some delicious cocktails but dont serve food. Irrespective, Im pretty sure Im gonna be here back again

Classic Haight jazz club. Live music nightly and brunch on Sunday. Polished musicians who play tight sets of jazz. Lovely sounds can be heard up and down the block.

This place rocks! Live musicTwo hints- its a small place so pick a good spot not to get bombarded by the acoustics- I had a gin & tonic and it wasnt the best. Id stick to beer or maybe it was just that one drink (tho my friend said the same about his drink)

Club Deluxe is still not only one of the great upper Haight spots, but SF in general. Where there are friendly people who come to hang out, enjoy each others company at the bar, or simply listen to some incredibly talented musicians. You can get a modern cocktail, or a glass of Fernet, both without pretense, and enjoy what the city has to offer. Seems silly to write a review for such a staple, where silly stars and numbers mean nothing. Never change, Club Deluxe.

One of my best memories. Great live music. Good size, cosy place, friendly and relaxed. Eat before you go. No finger food etc. Dress code? Wear anything you want. A nice dress would work.

Loved this place. It was very small, so it made watching the band a very intimate experience. Loved sitting at a table with friends talking and listening to jazz. The price of the drinks wasnt too bad either.

Their pizza was good. Soft lighting was excellent and the selection was fascinating. I enjoyed my visit with my colleagues.

Old school with a hip vibe. As a Chicago transplant, I imagine even Al Copone would dig it.

Theres a bartender with a beard and waxed mustache who is a complete amateur and liable to ruin your night. Avoid this place and get a fantastic cocktail from Alembic, try some brews at Magnolia, sample rum and tiki drinks at Hobsons Choice, or see some comedy and live music at Milk Bar. Theres really no need to be insulted and lectured by a cranky child who cant make basic drinks or handle a small crowd.

Club deluxe is one of the best spots to go see jazz in the entire city of San Francisco, wonderful bands during the daytime as well so if you find yourself on his tree and you want to get your cut wet, get a drink at club deluxe and listen to some wonderful jazz.

This place was so much fun, The entertainers were amazing they knew all the new songs as well as old School songs. I recommend everyone to go if they want to have a fun time. They interact with the crowd I think thats what makes it so much fun. Go and check this place out.

Drinks are 10+ but the cover is only 5$ and they are good with maintaining capacity so you can actually find a seat. Crowd is okay, some people on their phones and some people really into the music.

Great place. Live music and only a 5 dollar cover charge the night I went. Small area people were swing dancing.

*Update: Changed from 5 to 2 Went here on a Sunday morning for a coffee. The coffee was lukewarm and went cold in 5 min. I came up and asked for a dash of warm coffee and the bartender told me you dont tip and now you want free coffee?. I didnt tip because you sell lukewarm coffee for $4.50. I wont be coming back here anymore.Initial: Dont let the tacky name fool you; this place has class from your pantsy drawer to the moon. I Iove coming here and just jammin it out. Typically $5 cover on Fridays, but its also the day you definitely should go as people will be swinging and dancing, singing and prancing. Dont miss it

Lovely place to relax and listen to some alternative live music bands

On this particular Friday night, the place was so crowded that there was a 20 minute line to get in, but everyone was friendly, including the guy at the door. The music was slightly too loud to be clear, given the hard walls. But it was a lot of fun, and the band, Tumbledown House, was great.

Fun place to start the night, end the night, or spend the whole night!! I am not a huge club/dancing person...so The Shout House is the perfect place for me to spend a night downtown!

The jazz vibe in this club is intense! You feel like youve gone back in time..back to an era where life was great!

I went on a Monday night, at the music that closed the evening was simply amazing. If the regular musicians of the other nights of the week are anywhere near as good, then this venue is a cant miss.

We popped in here because we heard music as we walked down Haight Street and it was worth it! An older band (sax, bass, guitar, drum and pianist) was playing with a vocalist to what I would consider light jazz numbers. They played well together and the drinks were great and the wind was kept outside!

Quaint little haunt with awesome craft cocktails and live jazz. I will become a regular here. Wednesday nights with SF Repertory Jazz Quartet is top notch. I cant believe its free and not crowded.

Ive come here with groups of friends a couple times and I love that theres something for everyone. They have all different kinds of arcade games, but if thats not your thing, they still have a DJ, an open outdoor space, etc. I love that strangers can bond over teamwork. Its close to other bars and restaurants too!
