Tonight was on fire at Boom Boom Room. There was tons of art, records, drinks, and the crowd was a mixture of many cultures! The energy was live and the vibe was great. It was all 45 records night and world famous DJ Numark blew up the spot.

Oh my god, I had the best time of my life here.Where else can i wear a t-shirt, jean shorts and my NIKES!??Drinks were decent and priced well considering were in LA, but just pre-game it!Id actually have fun here sober too, which is great. I had the best time here, I cant rave about this place even more.

Ive been here many times over the years. Its a great clean night club with good artist and super cool staff. Ryan is always accommodating when you want a table/bottle service. Hopefully you get Ariel as your bottle service host. Shes a lot of fun. The whole place has good energy and is a fun time.

I performed there a couple of times and been there multiple times for shows. If you like small venues this place is awesome!!! And the staff are really nice!

Nice club. I go all the time to see my guy WIL BLADEZ!! The music is incredible & different than other clubs around. If you want to hear some awesome jazz and a nice drink than this is the spot for you. Typically not too crowded. Stays open until about 3am. Dont arrive too late, cover can sometimes go from free to 20 in an instance

Great staff and a fun atmosphere. Loses 1 star with the band coming on quite late and the cover being pretty steep at $20/person.

Do not spend your money here. Rude staff, expensive cover and drinks, music goes on really late and is decent but nothing amazing. Don’t believe the door man hustling outside. Maybe I’m used to Chicago Blue Bars that treat you well and fill your soul. This is not that.

This place is definitely unique and fun, but you dont really come for the great food or great service. Its mostly for the entertainment and experience. Also, its super busy! If you intend to come for the unique entertainment then you wont be disappointed. It may be better to just come and get casual drinks than try to make a dinner out of it like we did.

This was a chill and unique bar with a really cool history. I went on one of their only nights without live music but, they played a great selection of local & popular hip hop music.

What an interesting place! This place was recommended by my Uber driver the other night and then I kinda forgot about it. I was walking back to my hotel from dinner another night and saw the name of this place. Looks kinda sketchy from the outside; there were two guys collecting $20 or $25 to get in. Once you get in, the diversity of the crowd strikes you right away. Super cool - all ages, genders, races, cultures - I loved it! Everybody was dancing and having fun! The live band did a great job. Drinks are rather simple, but couldn’t complain. I highly recommend checking this place - especially later at night!

For an amazing intimate concert venue this place cant be beat. The warm up acts to Little hurricane especially Jade Jackson Group was great and Little Hurricane was great as well. Wish they came on a little early cause by midnight they were only halfway through. Sound system was perfect the climate was perfect. Wish they had some more chairs on the side. If you want to sit get their when doors open.

There was two live bands and they were both great entertainment. Its a small venue so be prepared to stand or dance the whole time

Excellent music vibes of course. Can get strong stench from old beer probably the night before but that may also be because I arrived too early. Its a comfy atmosphere that hosts some of the most talented jazz artists in the Bay Area.

I went to see very close friend play at the boom boom room and had an awesome time.

One of my favorite bars. They make delicious mimosas, play fun music and have an awesome decor. Parking can be a pain, but its free and less of a hassle than going downtown so I wont complain!

A month after I bought my brand new Lexus IS250 F Sport, I was rear ended in a parking lot. Dropped my car off to Chaperonages and a week later, my car looked brand new again! Could not have been happier with their quality of work ! CHAPERONES is the GO TO place for all auto body repairs!

Great place. A slice of New Orleans in California. Musical acts are typically first rate! Only downsides: shows start too late, and it can get crazy packed in there.

Boom Boom Room is simply amazing. One of the only bars in San Francisco that police dont hang outside of because theres no violence. The most diverse group if people come through every Sunday. Most are amazed with the fact that so many people come out the night before Monday. Its more like a reggae night then a hip hop Night. The live music is amazing and a DJ is also really good. If you like the freestyle or sing the stage is open for you. Nobody judges you! At the end of the day its beautiful! Hey when you come say hello to Corey the door guy. Tell him that Lavon sent you. Typical dive bar smell location fo GREAT music for 60 years, as in non techno, more blues, soul, etc. doubt techno would play 7 nights a week. During daylight exterior looks like not much happenin cuz it happens when sun dont shine.

Cozy little place to listen to live music. Has an outdoor area where you can smoke and still see all the action inside, which was cool. The bartender was so awesome! The band was decent and plenty of people.

Fans of rap freestyle need to come visit on Sunday nights at 10pm. Live band, DJ, and open mic style rap battles. Great crowd and performances where amazing, some real talent here!

Owners dont know how to run a live music venue. Dont have a hip hop DJ lead into a jazz set. Seating along the wall, while the main floor is empty. Why sell tickets when the venue is mostly empty? Avoid.

The Live band was very good the service is outstanding. The level of people and the maturity is Right. I recommend a mean visit to the Boom Boom Room.

Was asked for 50 bucks to carry my laptop bag in, after they opened and checked it. Then the 2 gentlemen at the door for into an argument about how I was supposed to carry the bag once inside.

Amazing hip hop every Sunday

Im glad a place like this exists. Dark and mysterious, always something jazzy or snazzy on the stage, decent bartenders, cool atmosphere, and one of those bars where everyone feels like theyre on the same page. Plus, super easy to get to (38 meets the 22), and if youre starving, you can hit the burger king up the street and chow on it on the way back to the bar.

Exciting environment, good music, and the staff are spectacular. Great for an evening of fun.

I havent had any issues with the boom boom room because it has been an amazing time every time I get to go I dont want to leave the staff is real they know the. People and make sure you are taken care now the icing on top every single star rockin band no matter what its an honor to grace the stage because your the most important part that makes going the time of your life rocking. Blues sweets sounds recall the times of our life enjoy the once In A lifetime events that you can only get a the boom boom Room I know that cant wait to get to go again.
