Food is good, energy is high, bathrooms are clean and table service is great too! Lots of activities and somehow the building is large enough to have space between each other comfortably!

General Manager Eric Perry should be very pleased with his establishment. Nicole did a terrific job as our server today and Eric was so accommodating to our party of 12. We all were there for our 1st time and truly enjoyed the food and experience! This is a must for young professionals with kids or just an easy hangout with friends.

My boyfriend and I love going here. Went there for my birthday and had an amazing time. The pizza is delicious. I highly recommend the chicken nachos! Theyre strawberry margaritas was the best Ive had.

Becasue of covid they said it would one lane apart! However it was every lane packed and lined backed to backed with people and their manager was completely rude and there was no bowling educate. Didnt care the care of clients only about the about the money they could bring. DONT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE OF YOU CARE ABOUT THIER HEALTH AND AVOID A HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT!

While the bowling, billiards and food was great, we did have issues with laser tag, guns not working right or keeping count, constantly shutting off. The arcade games dont always give you the tickets you earn. To them that might not be a big deal but when you pay a lot to play the games and not even get the tickets you earn kinda rubs me the wrong way. And for them to know there is an issues and give problems when trying to claim your prize is just as bad. Also do your best to go during the afternoon. The staff was way friendlier then the evening people and if you want to pick a day that isnt to crowded then Wednesday is a great choice.

This specific location is no longer practicing social distancing. They are opening all lanes and sharing booths to different groups of people. When you want to have fun and play, you want a stress-free experience! Management cannot make us feel safe and refunded us.

We have celebrated many events there. Great environment for adults and teens (not really for little kids). Has a bar area, food area, bowling, laser tag, obstacle area in a higher level (not for those who are afraid of heights), video games (expensive). Sometimes they have deals for an all you can play video games (except video games that reward any tickets) card, or bracelet to play all you want laser tag and bowling (have to rent bowling shoes and pay for those), and several other combinations of deals depending in the season and day of the week. Call or go to their website and ask for deals before you head that way. Customer service is decent, not great.

Went there for the first time, it’s great place to play, the kids had a blast, I recommend the unlimited play card, after we spent $$ we figured out the unlimited is more affordable. It’s like David and Busters but better because they have laser tag , bowling n rope walk.

There were 30 to 40 people in the building with no masks on yet I’m the one they are forcing to wear it. As I’m talking to the manager a white male walks by with no mask on and I pointed him out to the manager and he said nothing about it but then repeated to me I must put mine on? Mexicans please don’t waste your money at this location! They don’t want us there!

Took them 45 minutes just to acknowledge that we were sitting at the table.. took them another 15 minutes for us just to get our beverages... Not even 1 apology from anybody..

What a great experience! I had inquired about a lane reservation for a Holiday Company Party and everything went well from start to finish! Lucy helped me set up my reservation to make sure I got the best deal. When arriving I was greeted by one of the managers, Lawrence. He made sure my entire event went well! Checked in on us frequently and provided us with a great experience for my holiday party. Thank you so much!

This place is really nice. Took my son here for his birthday and it was a blast. We purchase the all day pass, which I highly recommend is about 24 dollars. We went to the laser tag about 10 times, we play pool, shuffle board, bowling( pay separately for the shoes) and we use the gravity climbing lines and my son was highly satisfied. The personnel is helpful and professional. The manager kindly gave my son a card for games for his birthday. 4 stars.

Mr Lawrence was so very pleasant & helpful. He ensured we were clear on the activities & made us feel very comfortable. The only negative experience was the lack of appropriate staffing. There was only one worker who manned the gravity ropes AND laser tag so there is a waiting period for these activities. Perhaps they should have extended another option.

This place is awesome and family friendly. We ordered pizza which was brought to us pretty quick to the bowling area. We waited like 20 minutes after registering for bowling to start an actual game which wasnt that bad. After we went to go play some pool while the kids registered for laser tag which the wait was ridiculously long. Lastly we ended the night with some video games. A concern that i had was security there needs to more i saw some creepy older guys with younger females. Overall, a great time!!!!!!!

A bit pricy but worth it. Game are great when maintenance is consistent food quality is great service is fast but will disappear for a while attending others in a completely different area. Regardless me and family had a great time had to flag down a few waiters and waitresses for some refills. Some games where broken and others needed some love overall it very cleanly and steps where taken to leave sanitizing stations easily accessible to its guest to wipe the game or hand sanitizer pumps for everyones continuance. I look forward a more memorable time at main event knowing what i already now.

Ive come here for kids birthdays and it seemed ok. But honestly I secretly wanted to go explore and have fun instead of watching the kiddos stuff & food! So my husband and I decided to go without any kids! We had a really good time. Food is slightly pricey but its pretty good. However, we keep it safe with pizza, chicken strips & beer for $19.95 (each)you get a wristband & are able to enjoy all of the activities except video games. You will need to buy a game card for that. If your kids are older and can be trusted to go off by themselves. This could be a great place for adults and kids. Small kids (5 & under) will have fun too but there is not much for them to do. Hope this helps.

So Sept 9 2020 my grandson turned 5 yrs old my daughter and husband we had taken the day off from work to go the Main Event to eat and play games Early afternoon before the crowd, well we waited while some teens were at the register being serviced, well while my son in law was walking up to the register doesn’t the girl at the register just walks away without acknowledging him, we waited by the register ok must be something important for her to walk away?! But no one ever came back to provide service!! My grandson didn’t want to leave he wanted to play but service was bad!! There was no service! We left elsewhere and the reason I’m posting this is because they disappointed my grandson and made me angry!! I guess our money was not good enough? Main Event on 151.

Go on a Monday during the summer about $11 per person unlimited attractions + cost for bowing shoes. Add unlimited game card for the same price. They also have a season pass for $60 but it doesn’t include unlimited arcade games.

The food is pretty good but with Covid they were too flexible with their mask wear rules.

Very fun place to go out for dates or hanging out with friends. The staff is very safe about the COVID-19 protocol such as social distancing and surface sanitation. Love this location.

RUDE!!.. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! they must all hate their jobs the heavy set tall manager with glasses he made me feel so unwelcome with me and my whole family and discouraged us from bowling like if we were a problem made every excuse in the book for us not to bowl when it wasnt even carzy pack. I mean he really shut us down and was also rude to my sister when she tried to go ask him for info so I let him have a piece of my mind. Wont be showing this place LOVE anymore. Came in as a Walk-In Party for my sons 13th birthday last weekend. From the GM to our waitress... they accommodated us (23 guest) and made me feel at ease and welcomed. The food, especially those wings were amazing. All the kids had a blast. Son said it was his best party ever! Definitely would recommend this place. Location we went to was the one on Hwy 151, in San Antonio. Was clean, organized, with great food options and filled with lots of fun gaming and activities for the kiddos and adults too. Worth every penny. Thank you for everything Main Event, San Antonio!!!

Great place to spend a Sunday after with my son

Great place for kids and kids at heart. We are from out of state and the prices were phenom!! 3 drinks were less than $20...bartender was not kind at all but thats what tip loss shows. Otherwise, We all had a blast! Laser tag and arcade. We were a little hesitant on the ropes course because it was closed for an accident but hopefully next time we visit. 2 thumbs up from the 13 of us that went.

I went out for date night and it was all good for the first hour and half so we decided to invite some friends over to join us. Now majority of the staff was very kind and everything was clean but when we got seated to eat and have some drinks, we were charged wrong for one of our drinks. We called the server to understand what was going on with the ticket but he wasn’t explaining properly so we asked for a manager. Now we just wanted to understand why we were charged two drinks when we wanted one and our response was that every recipe is different which I understand then he explained that there is basically no limit on the amount of shots to your beverage that’s why you were charged two. When we asked if that was against some TABC guidelines , he kept insisting there was no such thing, then got extremely defensive and told us unreasonably rude comments to make us even more confused and upset. When we called him out about he kept saying that we were the ones being unreasonable and rude. Basically spent more than $200 on two hours to fight with a manager named Albert I believe and to be insulted. I will never come back to this location. The staff was amazing and clean overall but I think the manager ruined the whole experience for me

When Incredible Pizza canceled our reservation at the last minute, Main Event was able to host our kids birthday party. We really appreciate the manager Lawrence for helping us out and giving us a space to have our party. Our kiddo would have been devastated if we couldnt have had her party. Thank you so much Main Event. We will be scheduling our next party there!

Excellent place for family. Staff and management went out of their way to help us. Manager Eric was especially kind and generous to us and our daughter who has Leukemia who he made feel exceptionally special that day. And it was friday. Highly recommend this place.

You might be able to shave off a couple of dollars from a Dave & Busters trip, but expect the paid a price to play here. Decent atmosphere, decent facility. Unfortunately, consistently poor service and food. Take your kids, not your adult friends.

Went here for a company Christmas party and my husband and I had a blast! So many games, so much to do. The sliders were great, the food is great. And theres even a bar to make your experience that much more enjoyable.

Has a lot of activities to do and has a good bar setting. But be informed that if it says UNLIMITED its actual not. And they dont tell you that but wanna kick you off what your doing right when your finished like at the bowling lanes for example. Then put you on a 2hr waiting list. When we were told first come first serve. Then wanna try to get an attitude and act unprofessional or throw you out when you point out the flaw in the miscommunication or non fine print. So just ask questions when you get there and get clear answers from someone who actually has them or talk to management.

The last few times I went without fail at least one machine broke and I had to find someone to refund my tickets. There is also a very disapointing variety of games to choose from. Although on the same note if you REALLY like the same racing games but re-skinned youll really enjoy this place. Issues aside the bowling is fun and I dont have much opinion on laser tag as Ive only played that once.

Wow, this place has it all! We didnt have these in New York so it was the first time Id ever been.. We went for a company holiday party and had a great time. We will be going back and I would recommend it for children of all ages.

I enjoy this place when taking the lil ones, it seems to be getting better than its national competitor (Dave & Busters) which keep going up in price and changing the venue to cater more towards just and adult crowd and boxing or sports games on the large screens. I have no problem with the accommodations for the adults (darts, pool tables, drinks etc.) especially when its a long day and one wants to unwind, but with the kiddos it seems to get a mix of everything and everyone. These locations are great from the game selections to the food, the bowling, laser tag and just the ambiance, as well as the staff being friendlier than most places. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning to have fun soon.

Terrible. We rather go somewhere farther that isnt so expensive. $8 for only 8 pieces of onion rings. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Also they forgot our sauces and by the time they brought it the food was already cold... We didnt even bother to ask for a replacement at this point we were getting frustrated because before hand We also ordered pizza but it wasnt the best. For $20 you only get this size (16) thats in the picture. You can get a bigger and better pizza at pizza hut and it tastes better too. Now back to the pricing. The food here is overpriced and I mean overpriced to the max. Youre better off going to a 5 star restaurant to eat because itll come out cheaper. Also lastly the service was extremely slow. It took forever to bring the food and even the drinks that were forgotten. Definitely never coming back.

Awesome service was great

Last night I went to Main Event at 9:30 pm at night to enjoy with my wife and son. Then when we were leaving at 12:00 am we seen that someone had broken the driver side window of my vehicle and stolen a few valuable things. We walked back inside the Main Event to talk to the security/ police of the place and his response was that it was not the first time it happened. That even in the last 2 weeks it happened a couple of times. He asked me if I had Insurance and that the best option was to forget it and go home. My vehicle was parked right next to 2 cameras of the place therefore I asked if we could see the recordings and he told me that the cameras were for a certain crew to see and they would determine how to act. That they had notices that they were not responsible for damages or thefts in their parking lot. Then the security officer simply walked away from us and went inside to continue talking with his coworkers. Because of this I had no choice but to call 911.Once the police arrived they took our information and some fingerprints they found on the car. I asked on more time if they could look at the video and they told me Main Event wont release it that hopefully one day they can issue a warrant so they can come and get all the videos. That is sad that main event doesn’t help their customers. The videos will help solve these crimes maybe even get there belongings back.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT WORK. VERY BAD EDUCATED AND LACK OF RESPECT.

Laser tag and the bowling alley are super fun!

Fun place to go to. A little too busy for my liking on Saturdays, so probably wont do that again, but very fun. On the expensive side too.

Had my kids birthday party here recently and it was great. Our party planner was the best!

This place is awesome. Lot of games, bar and everything for kids to adult. We enjoyed bowling, playing connect4 and all games. Bar had some good beers and wings. Staffs were very helpful. Will visit again.

I am in my late 20s this place is really neat games arent to expensive and the prizes are decent bowling lanes look nice the staff here is awesome. However I think I prefer to go to Dave and Busters they are very similar but I think the arcade games are better at Dave and Busters. But for a family outing this would be perfect check out their website for a free 30 min game card.

Took our 14 yr old daughter and invited 9 of her friends for her birthday party. They have a minimum of 10 kids to book a party. 1st time we booked a party, was really surprised what was included in the birthday package (3 activities, $10 game cards, 2 pizzas & drinks). She went with Bowling, Laser Tag, and Skywalker course. Party has a host that wrangles the kids and keeps the party on schedule. Ended up spending over 3 hrs there and could have stayed longer! My daughter really enjoyed her birthday and will definitely come back again for a family night out.
