We had a good time... bowled and played some video games! So glad they had socks for me to wear!

Came to this place first time on 9/19/2010 last Saturday eventing around 7pm , was told that bowling wait time was 2.5 hours, laser tag, gravity rope and billiards wait time were 1.5 hours. Make sure to call them to find out wait time before you go there.The place looked interesting but I didn’t had a chance to try any of their amenities.

Its a great place to take the kids alot to do arcade bowling food. The food was good the drinks are good and reasonably priced the only thing is I requested a server to take our order and after asking 2 staff members they both told me they would send someone over and didnt I had to ask 3 times and after about 30 mins someone finally came. But overall we enjoyed our time there lots of fun.

It was clean and fun with TONS to do for folks of all ages. I really enjoyed myself and the food wasnt half bad either. Ill certainly be back soon.

This location feels a little more small. I like playing pool, so that one was lots of fun. I think this location is mostly centered around bowling. I decided to try the gravity ropes for the first time. I must admit I wasnt disappointed. I would suggest not holding onto the support line if you want a little extra adrenaline rush.

Horrible service. Hour in bowling alley took 20 to get wait staff to get drink and food order. Food came out quickly never saw server again. Had to get up to find them in order to pay. Billards area was no better. Had to find a server. A bunch of them just walked passed us. Didnt ask if weve been helped. Finally got up and put order in at bar area.(servers were helping tables all around us but never stopped at ours.

The manager Chris was fantastic. We had a great time and the service on his part was exceptional. Thank you guys!

The kids loved it. Only thing is my gson is about 42 in. in height so he couldnt reach most video games and climb the obstacle. Criteria is 48 in.

We went last night and as a former employee i can see how degraded the venue is as well as the service.Food was good and waitress excellent but front desk were rude as well as manager. They upsell you unlimited bowling instead by the hour without telling you that after an hour you have to leave the table (while you are in the middle of dinner) they come and start cleaning you table without asking if you are done and just tell you you have to go and sign up again which i did but never got a lane again.So much for a unlimited bowling. Poor customer service and management

On the expensive end, not very much arcade. Kids love it but this is more for bigger kids. Akin to Dave and Busters

Nice place to go for entertainment. They have a bowling alley, arcade, laser tag, billiards, and a ropes course. Unique games of bowling available (not just traditional 10 frame bowling). Competitive prices and nice employees. I have seen them on multiple occasions walking around and checking on machines in the arcade. There is food available to order while bowling, or you can sit down at the bar or the restaurant area.

A bit expensive, but the games are AMAZING! It’s a true fun experience with friends, best place to have fun for birthday if you love games. Laser tag was fun and so were the arcade games.

Its a excellent experience for the children and adults. And very affordable. Oh cant forget the great food they serve excellent...

Staff spilled our drinks in the sitting area of the bowling lanes. Didnt clean it up, told a manager after 15 min and still a slip hazard. Waited another 15 and spoke to another supervisor until someone came to clean up the very large spill. Then the game cards we had after an hour of bowling only had 15 min left, they where supposed to be 2 hour unlimited and time start after the bowling. Staff said that happens alot, they tell you time expired to get you to buy more credits.

Came around noon to go bowling after seeing the $7.99 all you can play activity special. We were the only customers in the building. The cashier told us they havent heard of that special and called over another employee who immediately told us thats not a special. I showed it to them on my phone from their website and they refused to honor it. Very disappointed to drive all that way and have them not honor their own special. Youd think some business would be better than no business. Employees were just standing around doing nothing.

Its my first time today to Main Event. Our fun committee from work organized for us to spend the morning here for our team event. We had unlimited bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, pool and shuffleboard. Not sure if anyone tried the gravity ropes. We each were given a $10 card to play at the arcades as well.The bowling was fun. What was funny were the videos of the players played in between frames. A bunch of us played the laser tags. I wasnt too good since this is only my second time ever to play. I played one round of pool and just watched coworkers play the shuffleboard.I talked with one of my coworkers who helped organize it with Main Event. He felt that the staff were fair and wanted to work with him. When 2 coworkers werent able to join last minute, Main Event offered to provide coffee and iced tea to us.One of my coworkers and I went through the arcade and playing games. 2 coworkers each ended up winning 1,000 tickets.Fun for all!

Had a blast for our nieces 4th birthday celebration. Dawson working the bowling lanes was super attentive and friendly.

We brought in a cake and had exceptional service....only issue price of bowling has skyrocketed to nearly $40 an hour....

Kids always have fun a place for them to go when theyre stuck in the very clean atmosphere and they clean everything

The hummus and veggies with tortilla chips instead of pitas bread was delicious. So was the fruit platter. Very fresh. Would like to see more healthy options. My son and I are sensitive to dairy, wheat, soy and MSG. I found out Im allergic to MSG after eating wings here and going straight to the hospital. They said it was probably a concentrated amount combined with being sensitive to it. Would be nice to have places with more options that are allergen friendly. Would also be good to see more organic foods available as well. Kids had a great time! Really cool place to have fun indoors.

It Was Fun. I Love The Bowling And Laser Tagging Game. Its Worth It.

Great price for each individual activity. We were able to bowl on Sunday for an hour for 7.99 each. After the hour is up you get on the waiting list to bowl again for an hour when a lane is available. (dont get upset when you have to jump off and wait until another lane is open!) Han in there, you could bowl as all day for 7.99!!The burgers are good!

I took my kids, grandson, and mom to Main Event and we had a wonderful time. This was my mine and my moms first time to Main Event and it was memorable. We ate first and the food tasted great and very filling. After our meal we went on to play games which all of us a great time. This is a good place to go to spend exciting quality time with family just like I did. Everyone that reads this I encourage you to go here and you wont leave disappointed.

The Main Event is the Dave and Busters of San Antonio...but more! This is a great place to host a birthday party, corporate team building, or fun family event. Plenty of seating with packages of various options to meet your budget.With good pizza (I was surprised by this) and other food options, along with bowling, a full arcade with working games, that are up-to-date, as well as a small high ropes course, youll have tons of fun!

Still amazed at the high price to bowl per hour. And then you have kids arranging who sits next to who. A group of 5 adults and then a group of 10 screaming kids right next to us. Couldnt get out of there fast enough. Nothing fun about it. And in the 10th frame with 4 bowlers to go we ran out of time and couldnt finish the game. Good thing the kids like the place but it isnt cheap. Not great value compared to other family places you can go

Loved all the games, good customer service, good food, but me and my family ordered alcoholic beverages they were not made properly. So that was a for me unfortunately.

Its a fun place to take the kids but a bit pricey. It has a good atmosphere and theres a place for adults to enjoy a couple of things. Id recommend putting reservations for big events and theyre very accommodating to your requests. Theyre pretty big on clean and sanitized area so it doesnt smell nasty.

Really clean facilities. Had so much fun and the laser tag was great! Felt like it lasted an hour.Bought 4 tickets for the cat walk thing but I ended just taking pictures and the kids got scared and backed out. The manager kindly refunded the money even though 3 of them went up but just for a minute. Will definitely go again.This is the 4th or 5th main event Ive been to and it was the best experience so far.

Great experience. A good environment for both kid events and adult events. The bowling was easy to navigate and a fun time. I loved that you could order food at your lanes.

Big shout out to the staff. Marshall the bartender was great. He made wonderful drinks and served our food. Fun guy to talk to. The game time was a blast. We really enjoyed the time. Also Leah is absolutely amazing. Never met anyone as helpful and came around dozens of times to check on us. Never stopped smiling once. She is excellent . Service, Food and drinks were on point. Greatly appreciated the staff.

Cool, lots of stuff to do. They have a bar for grown up drinks, kitchen to order food from. You can bring your kids of course. They have a kids menu and clean facility. All in all very fun oriented place for the family.

Interesting place with innovative ideas, however, not enough for the large crowd. Nearly 100 for my son, nephew and I to participate and spent the first hour standing in lines. On one hand, this facility harbors some of the latest gaming technology while on the other, there is simply not enough of it for the amount of kids present. Perhaps a second floor expansion would make the expense worth it. Otherwise, its probably a good idea to call ahead and see how busy the place is before you make the drive. Its like paying amusement park money for arcade+ entertainment.

Great place for a rainy day. The Play all day is a good deal just be aware that it doesnt include video games. You get pool, bowling, laser tag, and the rope course. The cafe has a limited menu but the pizza is good.

The food was really good and priced like applebees or chilis. We bought 20 dollar cards to play games with that went quickly. And the wait to play bowling, laser tag were all 3 hour wait to play. We spent about two hours there for around two hundred dollars for a family of six.

Worst place we had to wait for every game about 1 hour and paid $170.00 i would not be going back

All day wristband kind of waste of money but the arcades was fun expect to spend some money here me personally would rather go to Dave & Busters

The activities are cool and the kids had a lot of fun. We bowled and ordered drinks, they never came, we asked about it and they assured us it was on its way...they were glasses of water and soda. Overall the birthday boy was happy and had fun and thats all that matters.

Worst time ever the customer service was horrible been here before had a great time but this day 09/19/20 was the worst need better workers that can treat people better and acknowledge them when being spoken to.

When I first got there with the large number of kids I brought with me it was overwhelming and seemed too expensive. But the friendliness of the staff and the variety of options that I noticed everyone enjoyed made for an overall enjoyable experience. The laser tag and bowling activities were a nice way to pull us all together while the arcade and other activities were a nice way to all have individual fun that was not redundant. And even with the large amount of people at the place, the wait times never seemed to amount to anything long. I will look forward to going back, with or without the kids.

For $25 a person you get unlimited later tag, pool table, bowling & obstacle course. The games cost between $1.00 - $2.00 per game. Here are some pics..

We had an informal birthday party, as opposed to reserving a time and room for a party.Originally we wanted to have it at the 151 location, yet no one ever answered the phone, even for the party reservation extension. I tried several times on different days.However, when I tried the location on 1604, someone answered the phone right away and answered all of my questions, so we changed the location for our party to be at that location.It ended up being a great party! We chose the unlimited laser tag for all of the kids, and we orderd pizza for dinner.Kyle was great at setting up the tables for us, serving the food and drinks to us, and providing the plates and silverware for the cake that we served after dinner.This location has excellent customer service!We will go again. And several of the kids said they wanted to have their next birthday party here.

Very cool way to spend Fathers Day with my little girl

We went to play 1 hour of bowling and also played some games for about an hour. We reserved the bowling lane online earlier in the day. It was pretty simple.The alcohol beverage was good. The spinach dip was very good. We wish they had more chips or bread however.The lanes are very close to others. Especially if both lanes have kids running around. We were on the last frame of the game when they cut it off. I understand the 1 hour time frame. But when we are in the 10th frame. Thats kind of rough. So thats why we give 4 stars only as we had other bowling lanes let us finish.The games were not bad. They really need to clean up behind the machines. So beware of the football toss, basketball games, and any game with ping pong balls. There are many on the floor under machines and behind them. So you may not get as many as you originally should when the game was installed and intended for. Also some machines are overloaded with lets say 8 footballs and the one next to it having 2. So make sure you take a look before you swipe.This is another reason for the 4 stars.

The promo they had was very misleading. We paid for unlimited bowling, but only got to bowl for an hour. Then when we asked about it, they told us that, if there was a wait then we had to go back onto the waiting list. No one told us that up front so when our game ended, we were very disappointed. Then to go get back onto the waiting list, it would be at least another hour. We had lanes around us that were empty for over 20 minutes and had asked if we could just jump.onto one of those lanes. We were told that they couldnt cancel another partys game until their reserved hour had passed leaving multiple lanes open. I dont feel this is a good practice for a company that advertises unlimited bowling for a certain price.

My daughter loves this place. Food is pretty good and you can cruise around with your beer in hand while you chase your kids.

Jenn and Ethan went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. It was a lot of fun and the staff were super friendly. Will be returning soon!

Took my daughter and rest of family here for her birthday. We all had a blast! Kids loved playing games, winning tickets for prizes, laser tag, and my favorite bowling. We were able to take pictures and have them displayed while we were bowling. We had pizza from there which was pretty tasty (I only had the toppings) I was told the crust was delicious. If youre wanting to get out with the kids, or celebrate a birthday, I recommend this place! Very family friendly!

Had a lot of fun with the wife and kids. Reasonable rates on a lot of activities from bowling to virtual games. Arcade games were about 8 credit average or about a dollar per game per person. Food courts was pretty pricey only downside.

We had our first birthday party for my child here today. It was very nice and the staff was friendly. The prices are a bit odd for the games (6.2 credits to play one comes to mind). But overall a solid B+ to an A for everything else.

This is a decent family entertainment venue.The Good: Arcade Games galore, Bowling, Laser Tag, billiards, overhead rope line obstacle course, nice bar, pizza parlor, great selection of variety of American food and drinks which you can eat at the restaurant area, or at the bowling area. Kids of all ages and adults will have a fun time. Cards used for games that are easily recharged and store points earned to cash in at prize center for candy, toys etc.I have had kids B-Day party there, easy to setup with a variety of options and prices.The Bad: Dont go when its super crowded. There is not enough staff to cover all the different areas for servers. People are allowed to walk around with drinks, and because people just suck, they leave their garbage and empty glasses all over the place and even on the game platforms. I have experienced beer spilled all over the games and floor and no one cleaned it up for several hours. Kids complain that it smells like beer when they play. No one is periodically checking or cleaning the game area. Its gross. Especially with kids. Not all of the games work all the time. You swipe the card and it may charge you, but no game starts. You then have to stop and go to the game center wait in line, ask to get refunded etc. Very frustrating. Again it seems no one is checking all the games or marking them as defective. Makes me wonder how often or IF the games are cleaned and wiped down at all after they close or before opening.Use lots of hand sanitizer is all I can say.Some older middle school kids have no parental supervision. (Parents stay in bar I guess it drop them off) Some of these kids get crazy and start running at full speed through the place and between people chasing each other. I have seen them run over smaller kids and into adults. Again no adult staff or parents around to control them and say something.So if you have toddlers & smaller kids stay with them and monitor at all times.Most of the service staff are accommodating and do their jobs. Others you can just tell dont really want to be there and dont care about your experience.I have found that if you go at a non-peak time, the experience is much much more pleasant for everyone in your group.Will I be returning? Yes its close location and my kids still enjoy the games that work. However I will avoid Friday and Saturday nights after 7pm when its just too crowded and filthy.

3 hour wait just to go bowling, no thank you. Our group ended up going to Bowlero where there was no wait at all. We even had time to play some pool, order food and drinks with barely any wait. No clue if Main Event does it by the hour or if its pay for however many games you plan to play, but there should be no such thing as a 3 hour wait.

Fun times! Good pool tables, drinks, food was better than I expected honestly. Kids had a great time playing video games, will try it again when in back in the area

I took my grandson for his birthday. I spent about 2 times what I planned. After putting $ on the card and going through that in short order, I returned to put more money on it. The young lady at the counter took my $ never explaining to me that for.05 cents LESS I could get a play all day card. As it was, we were only there for 1 and 1/2 hours. I know that they are in the business of making $, but I am grey haired and obviously a senior citizen. I would have been so impressed had she been more interested in helping my grandson enjoy his time there. Not going back and telling everyone about this. I did quietly mention this to the uninterested young woman at the front.Since this posting, the Manager contacted me. We spoke by phone and he explained some things to me that were not clear by reading the signage. He was kind and asked questions that helped him understand my situation. His name is Mark Koenig and he deserves to be recognized for his consideration.

Great value with the all inclusive pass

This was a nice place to visit. We attended a kids birthday party. The food is ok... nothing to rave about. The party package included a rather short laser tag session which wasnt impressive at all. The one new thing I hadnt noticed before was a gravity rope tour above the arcade area. The kids seemed to enjoy that pretty much. However, I was shocked at how pricey video games are nowadays. I cant imagine paying $1.50 per game that lasts a whopping 2-3 minutes at most. The pricing is ridiculous to say the least.I did like the fact that the amount of tickets earned for each ticket dispensing game were added to the user account card versus having to keep track of a handful of tickets. Thats a plus. The toys that are redeemed are ok... typical dollar store items for the lower ticket items and way overpriced for the larger toys. Overall I would say that this is an upscale Chuck E Cheese without the urine soaked carpets which is a definite plus.

The place overall was ok for kids to play but the staff was rude acted as if you were bothering them if you asked a question. None none of the staff seemed to care for their actual job. But were more interested in playing the games while on duty. Dont plan on ever going back!

I could go 3 stars because at the end of the day the kids had a great time. There were many things that could have been improved.I purchased a birthday party deal and scheduled everything well in advance. I did my part to finalize my head count, sign my contract and arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the party.After arriving, we met our hostess Amber. She wouldnt allow us to set up any decorations that we brought but ran around for the whole 30 minutes getting bowling shoe sizes. The bowling is supposed to be 1 hour. Although we got sat 5-10 minutes late, the bowling sure cut off right on time.Amber brought us to our tables. 1 was still set with the previous parties trash and the other hadnt even been wiped off!The game cards were brought out so late that most of our guests had left. The ones who did use the cards stated that they didnt work! I found a supervisor and she traded some but really couldnt have cared less.I also paid for goodie bags and those were never brought out. I found the manager Jenn on my way out and she did empathize, and rectify what she could.Please train your associates on how to anticipate needs and prepare for their guests. Ask for bowling shoe sizes prior to arriving or have a variety available. There is a way to expedite volumes of people in smarter ways.

I went here with my friend and this place is amazing. The food is the best Ive had in a while. Highly suggested for birthday parties or just hanging out with friends.

Went there for my grandsons birthday. The party host did a great job. Seemed a little pricey at first, but after research I found it was competitive. The kids loved it.

Had my grand daughters 8th birthday party here and everyone had lots of fun, both the kids and adults. Lots of activities including a ropes course and laser tag! Food and hospitality hosts are attentive and accommodating! Fun for everyone, great for large and small groups or individuals!

Plan to Spend easily from $100 to $200 for a family of 4. Everyone had lots of fun. I specially liked the $5 Virtual Battle Arena.

The workers by the bowling alley were rude for no reason.

A fun environment and super busy, expect waits for food and drinks. But the bowling is nice and lazy tag isnt too bad, little small but great for kids.

Fun place for the kids to hang out. Plus, they do have police officers there on premises for added security.

I loved this place my nephew was part of the bowling team from school that had a tournament there. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Service was good. Bowling was fun and staff were helpful. Didnt try the food we only got the appetizer platter which came with Cheese bites, wings, and spinach dip. Not too bad. Just didnt like they served the dip with pita bread. Next time we get chips.will be going back

I would like to highly praise Raymond the manager. He went above and beyond for our son who was hurt playing laser tag. Raymond thought fast on his feet and leaped into action. He took the upmost best care of our son . His genuine concern was heartwarming. What a great company and amazing manager you have here!! Thank you Raymond for stepping up and being so tentative, caring, and compassionate with our son.

Great family fun!!! Me and my fellas... The kids certainly took advantage of the all-you-can-play wristsbands so if you get it make sure you get your moneys worth! (Still craving some more of their buffalo wings with a side of the Asian spicy sauce that I drizzled over them and then dipped in ranch...oh mannnn they were SO good!)

Went here for a birthday party. The party host was really attentive. Throughout the whole process. Pizza was made really well and fresh. The kids had nuggets and fries- they wrote the kids names on all their togo cups. We were able to refill our drinks for free which isnt common. Alcohol drinks are fair. This place also offers socks for free when you buy a lane and shoes.

It was my first time here, but I really enjoyed myself. Its great for large groups, there is enough to do to keep busy between rounds of laser tag. Unfortunately the arcade games werent in the best condition.

Employees and managers need to be trained on how to speak with people. They are probably used to speaking to kids all day, but that does not give them an excuse to talk to everyone like they are kids.Audrey and her female manager in a black shirt last night (01/18) need some serious training.You will soon lose a lot of business to competitors like Evo, Santikos, Dave & Busters, etc. unless you return this place into a class act like it used to be. Very disappointing.

I went here on a company outing. It was our impression that we would have a private room with a buffet for 32 people and that the buffet would be unlimited for the time we had reserved. There wasnt enough food for everyone to stuff themselves, more like an okay snack. The food was great, but the quantity was little and when they would be bringing out more food that consisted of about 10 more wings and 5 sliders. Again, just really not enough for the AM employees who skipped lunch looking forward to this. Other than that, all games were working and the place was clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but nothing to write home about.

Had a blast with friends and family. The staff was very helpful. Laser tag and bowling was fun. We will visit again the next time we are in San Antonio Texas.

Half of the games werent working and would end up taking your money. Good portions are very small and over priced. Probably wouldnt go back on my own.

My child and husband had issues with the game credits on the card not being tallied correctly (i.e. game charging more credits than posted or not allowing them to play game but still charging the card) Food and drink were good. Daughter loved Fruit Ninja. Son and us loved the new virtual reality game, although it tends to slide with those that wear glasses. The kids still had fun but the noise and flashing lights is too overstimulating for my daughter (who had a stroke at birth) and causes behavior problems.

Came to eat dinner and play some games. It was a super busy night however when we sat down, we were greeted right away. Food is always good and games are a great time!

Dining area was dirty, food was cold, service was dismal, games didnt work, yet still charged your card. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We had to wait 20 mins to get a server to come to our table but the food was delicious for the price and totally worth it. However, the arcade was very pricey and not very worth the money.

Had put a not so happy comment but speaking with the main manager he quickly contacted me to see what happened and how he could solve the situation. My family and go there alot so we are glad and will be back soon For family fun ! Pablo rocks look for that employee hes awesome
