Absolutely loved it! Had an amazing anniversary here and would recommend everytime, its so much fun, staff is very nice and will even help if you get stuck, cant wait to bring the family back!

Did the bank heist room and it was probably one of the best escape rooms I have ever done. Our clue master Veronica was amazing! When one item wasn’t working properly she promptly was able to come and help. When we were stuck she gave clues without giving you the full answer so it was still a challenge. I would do this again in a heartbeat.!!

This place was great! The room setup, interactive clues, and challenging puzzles were everything we expected from a great escape room. The staff and our game master Veronica were all super helpful and friendly. We look forward to trying out their other rooms.

Escape the room was fantastic!! The adrenaline was mind blowing. This was definitely an experience. Shout out to Lawrence for being so welcoming. Also, great expertise with communication! Definitely worth it!!

Omg this was so fun, my family and I went while on vacation, we did the countdown room which is their hardest room. We had some very challenging tasks to complete but we worked as a team and we won. We actually did it with 10:45 left. Thanks to the staff here they were so so friendly and energetic.

Escape the Room is such a great experience. The rooms are complicated and fun, and if you ever get stuck they give you as many clues as you need :) the price is pretty good too, and it’s cheaper when you go with more people, so keep that in mind. All in all I definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes solving puzzles or wants to have a fun group activity to do.

We completed The Dig Escape Room for our middle sons birthday while in San Antonio and it was SO MUCH FUN! We all agreed it was the best part of our trip. We had our 8 year old, 11 year old, and 12 year old and all ages had a blast, including the adults. The kids maybe werent very helpful when it came to the puzzles, but they had fun anyways. Erin was in charge of our room (from the outside) and she was so great and helpful. She didnt let us get stuck for too long without offering us clues and assistance. She kept us going and gave us just enough to get us where we needed to be to figure it out ourselves. I was also highly impressed with their level of COVID-19 cleanliness. The rooms are double sanitized between each game and only the players registered for that time slot and the one employee in charge of the room operation are allowed in the building at a time. We felt super safe and really appreciated still being able to offer our son a fun birthday experience during these social distancing times. Will definitely do again!

It was really fun! the puzzles weren’t hard enough you needed help constantly but challenging enough you had to really think and search. definitely will come again.

My husband absolutely loves to visit escape rooms when we travel. For our first trip to San Antonio, he picked The Heighst” and “Escape the Room” and they did not disappoint!!! Amazing service and great escape room. Would recommend!

We had a great experience escaping the agency room! We had 3 minutes left when we escaped! It was fun and you can get unlimited clues!

It was a cloudy and rainy day for my family and I and we all decided to come do the dig. At first I was weary about going to do it as I have a phobia of the underground and the dark, however after I did it I truly feel like a changed man. We solved it with minutes to spare and I had only broke down crying thrice. My little brother was in the corner puking his brains out because he had food poisoning but the cluemaster Crystal helped and talked us through with clues. 100/10 I would recommend coming on a holiday or weekday or any day you want or possibly can.

Insanely intricate rooms- truly unlike the others Ive experienced! Harder than expected and so much fun!

Gave this experience to my wife for her birthday. We all participated and it was awesome! Better than what I expected. Can’t wait to do another one. One of the best presents ever. I also think it would be great for organizations as a team building tool/experience. Would recommend the Escape Room staff to develop other scenarios for the future. Thanks again; it was great!

Erin was an awesome cluemaster!!! We took our two kids (11 and 8), so we expected some delays, especially never having done an escape room. They had a great time and so did we! Absolutely will do another one.

I love this place! My clue master (and bonus, she was the manager of the facility!) was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. She had funny jokes and was very clear with our initial instructions, and was encouraging for us to work out clues ourselves but still providing clues when we needed it. It was fun and a fast-paced experience my entire party enjoyed. Erin, my clue master and the manager, made it SUCH an enjoyable experience I have brought both my co-workers and the entire family back for more fun. I will say, that for my smaller party experience, we had another party join us since the room can accommodate up to 10 people, and it genuinely made the party more fun! I would definitely say this is an experience to try if you find yourself in downtown San Antonio. 5 stars ️ ️ ️ ️ ️

Super fun to do with the kids. Our host Erin was awesome.. She was so very helpful and fun. This was our second time and there will most definitely be a third trip in the near future.

Erin was super helpful! Parking was terrible surrounding the area. All parking lots were full so we we were running behind. She was very accommodating and got us setup right away so we could quickly start. We did “ The Agency” and it was a blast! Lots of clues to find and piece together. And the variety of types of clues is pretty cool. Would love to see new rooms soon!

This experience was amazing. Everything in the room was spot on with the theme. Cookie dough helped us and made the experience better. Will definitely come back.

This was our 29th escape room and our top 2 in favorites! The experience depends SO much on your game master and Erin is my favorite ever. We are here visiting and hasn’t been to this one before, so we are always skeptical. The room flowed really well and we only had 2 adults and a child. The game master understanding if your short handed or when you’re stuck is so important and Erin did a great job! We escaped with 16 seconds and it officially went down as one of our favorite experiences! 100% will be back, but only if we get Erin as our game master.

This place was so much fun. We had reservation with a group of friends. They started the room on time. The clues where easy and made it fun. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come again with my family. I thought it was going to be scary and it wasnt. I had a lot of fun I cant wait to go again.

My Husband and I thought this would be an awesome adventure together. Our first task as newly weds and we did pretty darn good. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend. We plan on going back with our oldest son and again with just friends. Thank you for the fun experience.

We had never done an escape room before. we got paired up with another family of 5 and they helped us out a lot in figuring things out. Just like National treasures. Lol All my family loved it. This place is AWESOME! I have done quite a few escape rooms before and this place definitely has some of the best theming and immersion I’ve seen. Definitely give them a try. Erin and Lawrence were amazing game masters and made our time there amazing!!

My family and I went to celebrate my sisters upcoming wedding, and we had a blast! We lost and failed to escape. But we enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was amazing and kind (with just the right level of snark and sarcasm). I think I was most impressed with the size of the rooms and the attention to detail. We did the Bank Heist room and I was highly impressed with the ambiance of it all. It felt like we were in an old-timey bank. I would definitely come back again.Of all the escape rooms Ive done, this has been by far the best.

This was an amazing adventure. Lawrence, out host, was very entertaining. This is one of the best escape rooms weve been in. Everyone in our group had a great time. We would definitely go back amd try some of the other challenges.

My girlfriend and I did “ The heist” on our date night. The staff were polite and it was a fun experience. The rooms were high quality and there was a lot of clever details. I recommend this if you haven’t done it ! We will be back !

We had a blast! On a trip visiting San Antonio with some girlfriends & we decided to give it a try. It was so much fun. We could see the key to get out, but it was a no go. If you have an opportunity to do it, Go for it! Wil definitely do it again.

It was my first time doing this, didnt have any idea of what to do. Did have fun with my family there. I only wish we would get an extra 5 mins bonus for making it to each room. Ill try another adventure next time.

I had a blast! I went here with a group of my co-workers and none of us had done this before. The staff was very friendly and explained everything to us. I didnt really know what to expect but once the door closed and the timer started the excitement everyone had was palpable. The level of detail that goes in to planning and setting up all the clues that you have to find and use is very impressive. It was a great group activity and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We ended up finding the last clue with only a few minutes to spare. I definitely recommend this place!

Pros: Our game host was very friendly and helpful with clues. The room we did had pretty good puzzles & tech.Cons: Overpriced and they allow too many people in the room. It was $30/person and they allow 10 people in the room. That was way too many people trying to work on one thing as we got closer to the end. I prefer rooms where you book the entire room and the price varies based on the amount of people you include.I would not return but if you don’t mind playing with so many others I’d say give it a try. Again, the room was nice. Also, be sure to arrive early as everyone has to sign in on one iPad.

We had an absolutely amazing experience! The Dig was the best escape room we’ve ever done. Our clue master was super helpful, the puzzles were imaginative, and the secrets were cleverly disguised.

Erin was our game master and she was super awesome!! Our group did the Dig and it was a great game. We ended up being paired with another group which was a lot of fun.

Did this escape room as an anniversary present for my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. It was our first escape room and our clue master Marissa was a huge help when we got stuck. We ended up getting out of the room with about 8 and a half minutes to spare! Will definitely be back!

We had never seen a place tike this before but our son and his family had. They talked us into doing it and boy were we surprised . We had a blast and will certainly do it again. All the employees were very nice and helpful. I would advise anyone to do it.

Dig Room - fun! The puzzles are difficult but doable. Two of us are veteran escape/breakout room goers so we finished in record time. This location is more pricy than the competition but very much a challenge.However, for the price, I must encourage trying other locations in San Antonio first. This one is still experiencing a learning curve with staff. The Game Master for us was not attentive and surprised when we won. We had to explain to her our discoveries and show her the key to the exit button box. Not cool. She should have been monitoring the entire event. The clues we asked for came too late demonstrating that no one was watching the monitors during our game. This is far less professional than any other escape/breakout room we have visited.Our advice: save Escape the Room San Antonio as a final challenge after completing all other escape/breakout rooms in the area. You will be glad you did!

Cookie dough was amazing at guiding us when we got stuck. Overall amazing room with a great challenge. We only had 2 people and almost escaped! We made it to the last room of their agency room. Had a blast!

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had Louis Louis helping us out, and he was a lot of fun to work with.The only complaint in the Dig is that there is a sliding puzzle that, honestly, is probably too hard for most people to solve while doing other clue exploring. Other than that, it is very creative and well worth visiting.

Ive been wanting to do an escape room for a really long time, and boy I was not disappointed. Our clue master veronica was so awesome, and knew just the right time to send us clues! Disappointed we didnt solve it, but excited to try it again soon

Escape the Room was so much fun! Each part was interesting and challenging, without being impossibly hard, and the clues we were given were very helpful! A wonderful experience, and The Agency was just perfect.

The experience was typical of most escape rooms. The room itself was put together well and adequately challenging. The staff could have done a better with customer greeting and explaining the experience to those who had never participated in an escape room. Zip was very friendly and an awesome host, but the other two employees who initially greeted seemed as if they couldnt care less to have us there.

So much fun! We went as a family with our pre teen kids and we all loved it and cannot wait to do it again. We had so much fun that we went back to do all the rooms they had and still want to do it again. Especially appreciated Zip. She was so great as a clue master

This place was so much fun for me and my friends all had a great time I have no complaints about this place even when we went with another group they were all so fun and helped out with solving the clues and the staff is so sweet as well we’re totally recommend for a birthday party or just for a fun weekend

It was a cool game but having to play with another family kind of ruined the experience for me and my kids. The other family had a girl who wanted to do everything so we felt like observers a lot. We paid a lot of money to play the game and should have gotten to play. I still give 4 stars because its cool but I wouldnt do it again based on having to share the experience with strangers. If I could guarantee playing with just my family I would do it again.

I went to this place with my family for my nephew’s birthday. We had done one of these before at a different place. This was by far much better and a lot more fun. They have different room themes. We did the western theme. I’d like to go back and try another.

Very good time in the Agency-Room at the Escape the Room in San Antonio. It was the first time for 9 of us, out of the 10 participants, and therefore a new experience on how to look for and interpret the clues. Very Friendly and Helpful Staff! Will likely try one or more of the other rooms, and would recommend this activity to anyone. Thanx..

We all enjoyed doing this escape room. We had a variety of ages in our group and it took each of us helping in one way or another to escape the Dig room. This is great for team building and even just for entertainment.

Originally booked for a Saturday night; I already knew we were running the risk of others joining, which isn’t a big deal. We got there early and as the other group that was going to join us walked in, a group of 6 very young and hyper children, the girl from the front asked if we would like to switch rooms. We were very thankful and said yes already knowing there were others booked in. So we came back an hour later and again... a big group of hyper children. The host was kind enough to reschedule us to another day! We did the western room; very fun! Some puzzles were a little challenging and we didn’t make it out, but we had a great time! I don’t remember the girls name from the first time but she was very helpful and the man the next time we went was very informative on what to expect and rules of the room!

Great experience! It is difficult but the idea is to come together as a team. Some clues were nearly impossible to solve unless you get their help.

This was such a fun and exciting experience. We did this for my sons birthday, we had a blast. With only 7 seconds left, we finally were able to solve the mystery! We are definitely going back.

Well designed / themed rooms with great props. A few of the clues would have been tough to solve without proactive hints from the staff and they could probably roll those hints into the room itself, but overall very well done.As always, I recommend splitting up into small teams and having an overall group leader keep an eye on your overall progress!

We have completed all three rooms at Escape the Room....two successfully and one not so successfully. Always had a great time and a great guide. We did the Western Bank Heist....the hardest one, in our opinion. We escaped...barely. Sasha was our guide this last time and she was fantastic!

Ive been to other escape rooms and this is by far the best one. I went with a group of 7 and we were bank robbers in the wild west. Its detailed in decorations and scenery. Theres animatronics and interaction. I loved it.

I paid over $90.00 for my kids and I to have fun,and we did not get what we paid for. The employees did not explain that there were going to be so many people with us. The other family did everything , and we didn’t get to do anything because the room was so crowded we would like our money back. We did not get the experience that we paid for. We made a reservation in advance and no one told us anything about another big family coming with us.

We’ve done two of the three rooms offered. Both times we had a lot of fun. The staff are very friendly and help give clues when you get stuck. The rooms are very thoroughly planned out and designed. Both rooms we’ve done (the dig and the agency) were very challenging. We were able to escape the agency but probably would not have made it out without the help of Sasha. Even with help we didn’t make it out of the dig but it was still a great experience.

Fantastic place to visit and great game. It wasnt too hard but it wasnt easy. The clues were given in a very intelligent way not to give too much away. Additionally, these rooms are designed very well.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a hard time parking and called and they rescheduled us for later that day.Definitely a place you want to visit anytime you go to San Antonio if you want to try an escape room in another city.
