Sometimes it is crowded, but that’s usually at nights. They are usually low on staff and take a bit time to serve you. But it is all worth it in the end as the games are so good!

Lanes are really well-cared for, prices are comparable, and they have daily bowling and food specials. University Bowl has multiple options to choose from: pay per game, rent the lane by the hour, etc. The location has a huge arcade, snack shop, and a pro shop on site.

This place was pretty cool. They have a lot of lanes to play and a decent arcade for kids. The coolest part about this place was that once youre done bowling theres a bar and pool/dart area to play games. The drinks are very cheap compared to other bars but its not worth the money to play pool/darts because youre better off going to an actual pool hall or bar for way cheaper.

We arrived at 11:30 am 3 adults and 3 young children (two 4 year olds) the object was to teach them how to take turns. We were also celebrating a 4 year olds birthday.University Bowl was very clean and accommodating. The bowling, arcade, Icee drinks and hot fries were a hit.

So much fun. The bowling is fun. I love the arcade! They have some really fun things to do. The laser game is super fun. I wish that the escape rooms didnt cost so much but they are a different company. But they cost like 26$ a person or something close to it. Other than that its amazing!!

So much fun. There was an hour wait for our lane so we just went to the bar and played darts. The music and food are good too. They have a $20 per person package that includes shoes, 2 hours of bowling, and a $20 game card.

This place doesn’t look incredibly impressive from the parking lot shared with Goodwill but looks can be very very deceiving. For a time I wanted it to be my secret treasure, but It really is set apart in the bowling alley category. It is incredibly clean with state of the art interactive bowling manager and scoring system. Other fun places I have been have regular issues with the system and there were none here. The technology was so easy to set up we had our middle schoolers set it up with ease. The ability to choose and dress an Avitar adds some hilarious elements to an already fun evening. The snack bar is different from typical bowling alley food. Their wonton nachos ( I’m not sure that’s what they are called) are amazing. And the arcade is very big. Also available include of the bowling alley is an escape room experience.

Please DO NOT GO TO THIS BOWLING place. I was robbed in side the property. I’ve been trying to talk to management about the footage for the last 3 days no respond. They don’t even have the courtesy to look in to the footage the seem so busy on their phones than trying to resolve the issue. I’m disgusted by the management and employees no help at all FYI. One employee said that whatever happened to me it happened to 2 other people in the same day. Not a safe place got to the bowlero on 281 way better place and most important safe.

If you’re going to have a waiting list for the next available lane, you should honor and operate off of that system. Don’t waste my time! I’m a registered bowler on a league at your establishment and just decided to stop by tonight for a quick practice. I was told that only two lanes were non-league lanes and that it would be approximately 1 hour before a lane might become available. I understand it’s unpredictable at times, so I checked on the status after waiting for an hour and a half. I was then told that I was next up on the wait list after the next lane was freed up. Well, that party left and about 10 minutes later, I see a guy start a game on that lane. When I decided to question how that happened I receive a stumbling set of words, puzzled facial expressions, and no answer to how I got surpassed on the list. So upset and heated at the moment, I just said don’t worry about it, and walked out. You don’t have to worry about me wasting my time and money on any leisure games there any more. Learn how to run your business properly. Very upsetting.

UB has the best lanes in town. You dont have to be a world class bowler (but perhaps a frequent bowler?) to notice the lanes are better constructed and well maintained. Love the staff!

Met a couple of the employees. They were very friendly and were very helpful. They assisted me with everything I needed and made my stay very enjoyable. I believe they were Scott, Hunter, and Jason. Very friendly atmosphere, will definitely come again.

My family was trying to go for fun tonight but we ended up paying more than what we thought for less quality than you would get other places for more. The seats were too compacted together for each of the lanes so especially when large groups of other people were there, we had to squeeze past each other or just stand on the wooden part of the floor each time our turn came up. Honestly, they should change their name because id rather use their arcade with escape rooms, laser mazes, multiple pool tables and dart boards as well as normal arcade games in one big area, which is the only reason I give this place 3-stars. Not even for the main thing at their place. Not recommended. Just save your money and have more fun at places like main event unless youre looking for a good place to chillax and play some arcade and pool.

Prices are not as affordable as most bowling alleys. If you are looking for a family friendly atmosphere or have a group to entertain this is the perfect place for you. Bowling, food, drinks, arcade, even an Escape Room. Great location off the access road of I-10and De Zavala road. Clean restrooms too. Totally recommend it.

Been a while since Id been there. Its been renovated since the last time I went, looks super nice. Game area was fun, just really kind of expensive. The lowest any of the games are, are a dollar a pop. Didnt like that

Very disappointed in my experience today. We were trying to have a good time during spring break. A man went into and used the womens bathroom with my wife in there and I notified staff and they did nothing about it. My wife was very upset so I confronted the man after the staff did not even talk to him about it. The bartender was very dry and not personable so that experience was terrible. Lastly, we were initially given the wrong food that we ordered even after saying the name on the order.

We had a fun time! This place also has a pretty large video game area, a snack bar and a bar for 21+ and over service. Very fun!It averaged to about $10 a person, (including shoes) for each game. So for 4 bowlers $40 for 1 game, $80 for 2 games, and so on.They do offer special prices daily at certain hours.

Our first experience here was awesome my family and I had a blast bowling. Their concession stand had reasonable prices. Great place to spend with family, friends, date.

There is a lot to do here other than bowling- arcade, bar, escape room. We just went for a family game but its5 great for a party. For kids they have the bumpers and the little ball slopes. Bar service was quick. We didnt order any food, so no comments there.

I got a simple grill cheese meal with tots but modified the sandwich. Chris at the grill made it to total perfection. All the ingredients I added were assembled so nicely, the bread was toasted to perfection, and the tots were also done perfectly. Gee, have I mentioned perfectly yet!! Kudos to the master chef, guru of the grille!

This was my first time at University Bowl. We went on a school field trip. The lanes were nice and the electronic score system was pretty user friendly. The staff was great! They made navigating much easier. With all UB has to offer anyone; single, married, children or not you can have a great time. I saw billiards, games, a bar, concession, as well as the bowling, something for everyone.The only drawback for me was no healthy options on the menue.

Family friendly, great prices, amazing deals, lots to do including LOCK’EM Up escape Rooms !! The burgers are delish and the French fries are to die for. Friendly staff over all. Highly recommend this place !

The lanes are well maintained, the areas are clean and the prices are really good. The beer prices are a tad bit high but are balanced out by the low bowling and rental prices.

The wait for a lane was not too long. The bowling graphics were pretty awesome and we had some really good family fun! We will definitely be paying another visit, soon. Yay!

Went on Sunday for Quarter Mania, Buy a $10 Wristband & get $0.25 Games & Shoe Rentals. Also $0.25 Wings *per wing*, Nachos & 24oz. Sodas. Started at 9:30pm-12pm. We arrived at 9:30pm with no wait & got a lane. We played 1 game then went to the snack bar & were told the wings were sold out in less than an hour!!! Very upset that we werent told about this. We wouldve went to another alley if my husband knew they werent going to have enough wings for their promotion! The snack bar closed really early. The bar was alright. Expensive video games & pool. Bowling was very fun tho, great crowd & great employees!

UB has modern bowling equipment, lots of lanes, a well-stocked bar, good music, and a nice arcade area.We also stopped by the pro shop and those guys were friendly and helpful.For those that care, they also have 12 beers on tap, at least a couple of which are local craft beer.Its a little pricy for regular games (4 stars), but great for a night out with friends.

Went with a co-worker for lunch after 1pm on a Tuesday. Her Chef salad & my Philly cheese steak were to die for. It took a really long time to get our food, close to 40 minutes. Only one person works in that tiny kitchen & only one item was made at a time.

This is related to a birthday party event that was hosted there. First, the pros: Nice venue, nice party room was pre-decorated and our host was a very sweet girl. Overall, the kids had fun.Now for the cons: We had about 15 in the party and at times our host seemed overwhelmed. We ended up helping and serving. . Most of our pizzas were burnt. There was no one to greet the invitees as they came in. There was very little room for parents and extra chairs were needed. Everything seemed rushed.Take away: More than one host per party, food needs to be on point, and have a greeter at the door.

Nice and clean bowling alley with an upgraded lounge area with pool tables, arcades, darts, and full service bar. I brought some folks in for lunch to try out their new menu and relaxed atmosphere along with the pretty cool music they play. But you cannot hear your name being called when your food is ready. Hopefully they upgraded to pagers. If not, be prepared to stand around to wait for your food because it will otherwise be room temp as you continue to check on it. And they will not bring it out to you. I submitted a complaint through their website but never heard back from the Managers or Owners even with a simple apology.

Had my boyfriends 22nd birthday here with friends and family. Had a great time. Love the bar and arcade. Everything is always incredibly easy and fun.

Horrible, they have people come in and get on the waiting list then leave and wait for the text the lane is open. Lanes remain closed for 30-45min at a time on multiple lanes because they allow them to travel back to get on the lane while people waiting have to look at lane not being used. Was told the wait would be an hour, two hours later we are still waiting and more than likely completely wasted the entire evening! The bowling alley is not that big! Should not take 30-45 min to walk over to the counter to get ur lane! Utterly ridiculous!

It was really fun and great for the kids. The kids loved the low lights and the neon lights. The little arcade is cool too. It felt pricey for $67 for 4 of us to bowl for a 2 hour clock, but I havent been bowling in a long time so maybe thats standard now. It was fun.

It has been a long time since I have been to University bowl with my family. I was very very surprised of all the outstanding changes that the facility has made. Improvements that were made very very outstanding. I love the way they went high-tech with the Bowling Lanes & Games Play. The food there is very very good but the price is a little bit higher than normal. Other than that I would recommend taking just you or your family there 2 Bowl

I was here for a team building event and it was very typical looking inside. Several lanes, lots of lights, pricey snacks & all the bells n whistles. It was nice n cool and well kept. Someone got some fried pickles that were good. I bought a Dasani for 3 bucks. I wish Id remembered to bring my own water. I hate paying for basic water. Anyway, everyone enjoyed themselves and I would go again.

Classic bowling alley feel, inexpensive, and will totally go here again. Only problem I had was the guy working the register had a bit of an attitude that he didnt feel like he needed to hide. Gonna assume he was having a bad day so Ill let it slide this time. All and all a good family friendly place.

Had so much fun wasnt very expansive they have like a ten dollar day the food was good game room available and bar with big tv to watch a sports games something for the family.

We went for a fun evening of family fun but were quickly dismayed upon paying for our bowling, the front desk clerk was not helpful at all, she didnt give answered and just stared when talked to, our coupons werent honored and military discount was a problem. She heard us talking right in front of her about how many were going to bowl, our discount, etc but she had no suggestions she just let the first party pay and then told us the rest of our party couldnt use it. She was not willing to help and its not like they were busy on a Wednesday evening. With her lack of service and assistance, we wouldve left if we hadnt just bought snacks and a pitcher of beer. She really turned us off to this place and every trying to use their summer promotion again.

One of the few bowling alleys that seems to know how to take proper care of its lanes. Everytime Ive gone, the lanes are properly oiled (many alleys let their lanes dry out). Additionally, it has a good bar, arcade, and an escape room. Kudos to the management for keeping everything clean and running well!

They have plenty of lanes and bowling balls of all sizes. We went as a large group of 9 and we use the same ball size/weight and we could each have our own ball.They have good specials on bowling as well.

Always enjoy this place. Usually bring my 3 kids here when they have a day off of school or when mom needs some focus time. Lanes are on good shape, bar is stocked and the kitchen puts out decent food. They usually have coupons floating around online or have nightly specials. 5 stars.

Great service and decent prices. There was a 45 minute wait forthe lanes but we needed 2 for our group. Clean location and facilities.

Didnt like the way you have to sit at the table that has your lane number on it...i had teens with me and the view was being blocked by the lane occupants next to us...maybe next time i will just request a front table lane...

If you like to bowl and have some drinks, dont go to university bowl before 5pm Monday thru Thursday. The bar is closed but you can get beer from the snack bar the grill. The bowling part is great tho, its up to date with the screen and score and pretty much all the bowling stuff. Fun times, I just dont understand the bar situation. Oh, and yes, its a full bar. You just cant have any of it before 5pm...

Prices are different every night of the week, but Tuesdays are the best! This alley had an escape room, arcade, and bar in addition to the lanes. Staff were helpful. Bowlers of all different skill levels come here, so you wont feel out if place if you cant break 100.

Dont waste your time going to this place. They dont want your business. First time we go there they told us they had a private event and did not let us play. Today they told us there was a hour wait with about half the lanes open and not in use. Thats the last time I try going to this place.

My wife and 3 year old son love this bowling alley. The family time starts on Sunday at 12 and has Lazer lights. The only reason for the 4 star is the game area. Most expensive kiddie games I have ever seen.

A great place for family fun but... the layout is too compact people will often bump into each other after they bowl and it does get in the way of enjoying your experience. But their loaded fries were delicious .

Paul told us the shoes were included and that is was $5.50 a person per game. When we cashed out, we were charged for shoes and they didnt even tell me it was more. The cashier was pretty rude when I questioned my bill. The group next to us was highly intoxicated and they continued to serve them.

Great staff and wonderful assortment of games. They have 32 lanes and a great bar and food. Reasonably priced all around. They did have an Escape Room, however I have not tried it yet. I was impressed they had bowling balls that fit my fingers and I didnt have to throw out my shoulder. They have a very nice high tech bowling system and its an all around great place for friends and family.
