Went here for the swan boat experience. The boating portion was actually very enjoyable. Getting onto the boats was a whole different experience. First you are told its a 45 minute wait time. So you put your name down. Then 45 minute later....you come back and they say itll be another half hour. Finally another 45minutes after that your on a boat. If theyd just say come back in an hour and a half, if youre not here you forfeit your spot! Maybe I would have had a chance to take the kids to the play area or walk around the lake or lunch!

Beautiful park to walk around and enjoy the day. Very nice quiet section of the busy city of Orlando. Chatted with some nice people as I strolled along the lake. Play ground area for kids, there are some swan peddle boats on the lake but I dont know if or how you can rent them. Might have to check into that and have a nice picnic. Lots of cool restaurants nearby also. Go visit and enjoy your day.

This is my favorite park in Orlando. A beautiful place where you can do different outdoor activities. You breathe nature and everything is very clean. I love it because you can go on a picnic, rest, walk, you have the option of renting scooters or bikes and it is super fun to run around the park, you can also rent the swan boat which is also very fun to ride. The playground area is kept very clean and is a perfect area for kids to have fun while breathing in fresh air. At the moment the playground is closed due to covid-19. The sunset looks beautiful. And at Christmas it is a beautiful experience to spend as a family.

Lake Eola is a great place for a nice walk or if youre a photographer looking for anything from landscape to portraits to wildlife, it has it all! Theres also a strip of restaurants near by and usually a festival or street event or even performers going on there so its always different everytime we go. They even decorate for the seasons, last time we went they were setting up the Christmas decor and it looked great.

We loved this park. We rented the swan boat for a half hour and had a great time. We got some amazing pictures. We also walked around the lake. There was plenty of ducks and swans but it was very clean, surprisingly no excrement everywhere. We also saw squirrels and turtles. The park was so clean and well maintained. Great place to go for a run or walk with the dogs. Didnt see any trash or homeless people. Felt very safe.

This is such a beautiful and fun place to walk, bike, run, or just hangout. Good place to walk a dog too (as long as they dont get too upset by the birds.) Restaurants on the walk, and you can rent paddle boats. Highly recommend going here just to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Free parking clean not crowded no drama. Id give 5 stars of they were to make it more bike and scooter friendly like paving bike lanes in green like they do in major cities. Beautiful and modern but feels a bit tight to maneuver around. Other then that, great place to take your family out for an evening walk jog bike or scooter.

Its a beautiful walking experience, as well as scenery and walking distance to many restaurants and shops in downtown Orlando. For to covid-19, the play area for children is closed, but the swans are still available at $15 for 30 minutes. Definitely a great experience for little kids, bring some bread and feed the swans pigeons, theyll congregate and even fly into your hand if youre into that sort of thing. There is a homeless presence, orange county should do something to provide more help or shelter for them, all I encountered were very nice individuals. Thats the only downside, I felt sad when I had to explain to my young children about their situation.

I hadnt been to Lake Eola in quite a while. It was nice to be back there. It seems like the walk was longer than I remember the way around but views at night have gotten better due to all the lights. Its really busy there now due to all the clubs in the area and there is a few things that have been added to the property. It was great to go back and see the added additions. I use to go there when I was in high school and take pictures for my photography assistants. Good one Lake Eola still the same but yet so different and evolved.

What a cornucopia of flora and fauna! There are all kinds of birds here that you can walk right up to (but dont touch!). The trees and flowers are so unique and beautiful. There are public restrooms on either side of the lake, so thats convenient. Parking around the area is a little inconvenient with a 2-hour limit, but you can always come back to refill the meter. This review is pursuant only to the lake at Lake Eola Park. First off, this review is personal, as I was born and raised in the beautiful City of Orlando, so what I’m about to post saddens me, for I love my community and expect more from hired park professionals!I visited this overall beautiful park about a week ago, and it was a breezy day. With such, I saw the gathering of such huge clumps of easily accessible, nasty debris blow up against the shoreline. I saw at least 20, 33-gallon bags of pure discussing foul, soured trash, and this was only on the 100’, that I stepped off, of the nastiness.I approached two staff workers, expressed my concerns, asking them to at least take a look at what I’m speaking of, and as I walked away, they drove off in their cart, never giving it a second thought. Before we departed, I asked for the park manager’s name, which is public recorded. It was given upon req. I called two different numbers, leaving an important message for them to contact me, and after a week, not one call! Not one!Just maybe with this post, someone with common sense, would take full advantage of the breeze that day, take some nets, rakes and the tools necessary, to clean the lake out easily, without even getting wet! After reviewing the attached photos, you will see what I mean!Maintenance of Lake Eola, the center point of the park, and that of our entire city itself, is a minimal amount to expect! Please know, other than this mess, which I hope someone will or has already addressed, Lake Eola is the crown jewel of downtown Orlando, just needing some polishing up!Notice how clear the lake water is, shouldn’t the lake’s surface be as clear and clean?Dan Coleman, lifelong citizen.

The man who distances nature, distances himself, understanding is a species of its own. This coexistence has to be respected, healthy, attentive, caring and powerful at the same time. When you give to nature, it gives you back. There is no doubt that this happens to the planet, it comes mainly from the mode of operation of modern life of urban man, who disregards or balances nature as a means of survival and benefits from it. This reconnection is fundamental for a movement of return, re-education, of whom we are true.
