This is a fun little area, and a really great way to cool off on a hot day. They mean it, when they warn you about the exhibit, too. You get a warning that you need to be completely dry before setting foot inside and when you go in, youll see Sea World employees wearing parkas.Im not sure exactly what the temp is inside, but if its above 40 degrees, Id be surprised. They are penguins, after all.I believe there may have been a ride here at one point, but at this point it is simply a penguin exhibit, where they can huddle around each other, swim, nap or whatever. Theres all manner of them in here as well. Its a good place to see the birds and get out of the heat.One of my favorite things here was the fact that there was a young chick (of the penguin type) holding flippers with what I can only assume was a mother. Ride was closed for no reason so its only the walkthrough. The Penguins were cute this was the only good thing.

The penguins were adorable and the staff was amazing as usual. Sea World is the most underrated park in the Orlando area when it comes to their offer. Highly recommended and we always come back. Beats Epcot food and wine any day.

It was fun getting to see the penguins up close. Sadly when. I went the ride part of the exhibit was closed but I remember it from when I went there as a kid and it was fun

Slightly cold inside so you might not want to stay long. I was there with others and we were able to view a feeding. Essentially enjoying a bucket of fish in the water, but the feeding frenzy was cool to watch

Very disappointed there was no ride and no notice out front that the ride was closed. All you did was take a very long walk through the roped off line that was unnecessary since there were very few people. To end up in a cold area with Penquins.

It is one of my favorite place to visit and the first one but unfortunately they are not running it and they did not even notify us after for 90 minutes we went directly to the penguin area without the regular right, but I understand is all about the virus.

I love penguins and this is a great way to see them and cool down from the Florida heat at the same time. I also highly recommend the penguin interaction where you can touch a penguin! Warning: the penguin habitat does have a smell to it for those with a sensitivity to smells.

Absolutely love the penguins and how well they are cared for. Their living area is washed out once each day with new ice replaced. They are fed 5 different types of fish and krill. Some penguins get fed vitamins in their fish, too. They are all labeled with a unique color band tag to keep track of them. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and love them. Highly recommend the up close tour where a penguin who wants human interaction can be petted and pictures taken with. No penguins are ever forced to interact. Please go and support Busch Gardens effort, and take the opportunity to love on a penguin who wants human interaction.

Its cold and stinks but worth the time

The penguins are very cute and good, but the ride line is super long and not that great worth of 60 mins! Would suggest adults and people who dont crazy about taking every ride to avoid the ride. During the waiting we even experienced another technical issue so it cost even more than 60 mins. But the penguins are actually very worth to visit, very good amount and very good views!

The ride was pretty cool but being able to see all the penguins was so cool. There are so many different kinds all grouped together, its quite entertaining. Also the entire exhibit and area is decorated and constructed to make you feel like you are in the Antarctic!

Great experience all around. Very cold inside which I loved by the waiting room area to get on the wild ride part smelled like dead shrimp left out in the sun. All part of the experience but fair warning its smelly. But overall a really awesome experience.

Be the first to get in the park and you have absolutely no wait time. You have a go wild adventure with spins and a mild adventure no spins.All to finally see the s. It will be very cold but awesome.

The experience was amazing and the ride makes this a lot better. The services is excellent and the safety is first at all times. Penguins are is very cool, make sure you cover the kids to avoid temperatures changes. Also the penguins were happy and picture ready lol.

Pretty disappointing. We had the quick queue pass so we thought we would be able to go in quick but we still had to wait 15-20 minutes. During that time our toddler starting crying. We went on the moderate ride and it was so bleh. Wish we just went straight to the penguins without any of the ride or waiting.

My children and i love this ride, the wild ride isnt very wild, it just spins while moving through the different scenes. As you move closer to the penguins, you can feel the temperature dropping. Be prepared for a very cold experience, which feels amazing on a hot day. Make sure you are dry before going on this ride.

It was a very fun and unique ride, the penguin exhibit at the end of the ride was extraordinary. The penguins were up close and involved in all kinds of activities. Anyone that gets cold easy though I recommend to bring a jacket if you wish to stay in the exhibit for a while.

Once of our favorites rides at Sea World. This is one of the most go when we visit the park. The temperature inside is super cold but in a good summer day in florida,it will be refreshing. My older kids are ok with the change in temperature. The younger ones(5 and 1) feel it more. I usually have an oversize shirt (a few sizes bigger)for them to wear on top off their close as soon as they enter the building. note: A t-shirt take hardly any space plus it will have many uses( as a pj in the way back or towel when wet, sun shade...). The ride is an animated movie that kids all ages enjoy. Its a bit dark in some areas and little ones get a bit anseous usually turning the flashlight on cell helps for my 1 yr old. At theend of the ride the coldest area comes, the penguin exhibit. We enjoy seen the penguin interact in their habitat. If we are to cold we go to the glass room because is less cold.

One if the best experiences within Orlando...Sea world and more importantly Antarctica is a must watch for both kids and adults.

Absolutely amazing and beautiful to see

Trackless ride. Wild side has more spins, but is not exactly Mad Tea Party. Fun light effects but nothing extraordinary. Not exactly a compelling story... A penguin chick hatches late and goes inside an ice cave for shelter... and DANCING! At the end, you stand in your Florida shorts in the same room as the 32F penguins, so you can leave quick or get hypothermia and frostbite. You will die in under an hour.

We were going to just walk through but ended up going on the ride. It was great, the kids truly enjoyed the experience.

I can skip the ride but being so close to the penguins is just amazing. Kids and adults are thrilled when a penguin splashes them.

Me and my grandson love this place. Probably not worth the wait but if there is no wait I would take the ride thats offered. We had to wait about 40 minutes for the ride wasnt worth the wait.

The ride it self left something to he desired. But the end where you go see the animals was amazing. You are close enough to touch them( But please dont). They are so cute and interactive with guests. It was so nice to see the handlers feeding them and watching them follow her around.

The ride was kind of boring and not something Id go back for. It is a great way to get to the penguins, which was probably the best attraction. When we were there the penguins were super active and the kids really enjoyed watching them waddle and swim. It was almost as long to walk in to see the penguins as it was to take the ride so we took the ride, but if I had to do it again Id probably just walk.

The ride is excellent. I recommend taking the wild ride -- even with small kids. The ride is very smooth. Children will love it. Inside it is very cold. Ty

This is one of my favorite attractions at Sea World! My daughter and I love the ride, which has 3 options: walk through, slow with no spin, or wild with a spin. The story that plays is cute and has a little scare but not too bad. Then you get off ride and see the Penguins who are usually really playful in the evening but have also been playful during the morning times. You want to see them first thing before 10am or last thing after 6pm. This is when they seem to be most playful.

Give this a miss! such a long queue for a rubbish ride. my husband and I went on the mild ride whilst the kids went on the wild ride. queued for 45mins, you just sat there in a freezing cold room which understandably is for the penguins, but as soon as you get on the ride, you literally spin around seeing very little going back and forth this massive room. the wild ride on the other hand got spun even more with a bit of rocking here and there. quite unnecessary. would not recommend this at all.

This attraction is so beautiful. Inside is super cold. You will need a jacket or sweater to go inside. Penguins are beautiful. Do this attraction when you visit Sea World. You wont regret. You will take nice pictures inside.

Perfect place for family

I did not go on the ride but did a walkthrough of the penguins of Antartica. It was COLD (one of the things I loved about it lol) and noisy. We got an up-close view of the penguins and their antics, wonderfully hilarious.

This is a two part experience, first a short underwhelming trackless ride along some screens showing a story about a young CGI penguin growing up. The theming is close to non-existent and the ride is showing some age. The second part, after the ride lets you get close to actual real penguins, this is the best part by far, bring a camera, and maybe a sweater as its real cold in the penguin room.

Bring a jacket bc its sooo cold (32°). It was a awesome experience.
