Great fun. Everest and flight of the Avatar were awesome. They apparently are closing the safari right before dusk so get it in while you can. Not sure why they spent the money to make natural looking lights out there to see the animals at night if they were not running the exhibit then. Other than that its a great place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Came here a week before Christmas 2019. I loved everything about it! Safari, Everest ride, Pandora land and can’t forget the best character experiences while dining at a buffet! Worth the price so our 9 year old could meet Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey in one hour while we enjoyed our lunch instead of having to wait an hour to meet just one (not worth to wait when there are so many rides to line up for).It was worth waiting until nighttime to see all the glow in the dark plants in Pandora. So much fun, can’t wait to come back once Covid times are over!

This place is BEAUTIFUL!! The scenery is literally phenomenal. Pandora is a work of art day and night. My absolute favourite though is the gorgeous iconic tree of life that quite literally towers over the park. Its so cool its part of the Bugs Life attraction! This had to be one of my favourite parks of all. Again the staff were amazing and the security were really friendly and talkative. The Dinosaur restaurant was great and had lots of choices to add onto your food (sauce and extras). You cant have an awful day here.

The park is Open. Good Time to go.This is the first time we have been to this park since COVID restrictions. I believe that the Disney website said that the parks are being kept at 25% capacity. There was no tram operating but you could walk to the main entrance from where they were parking people. Temperature check and Security was remarkably fast and easy. Entrance was also easier since we only used our magic band. 25% capacity means that it was still a little crowded and we had to wait in lines for the rides. The cast members were very good about making sure that people knew where to stand for the various lines for the rides. Overall it was a very nice trip and worth the visit.

Went just for Pandora (Avatar) area. It was rainy most of the day due to Eta, but still very cool and worth it. The flight of passage was easily the best ride in Disney I think. Safety protocols due to COVID were take seriously throughout the park, which made us feel more comfortable being there. The Safari ride was actually very cool too and worth doing.

Really great park! I recommend getting there at least an hour early, to experience everything, such as the two attractions in Pandora(from the movie Avatar). Both left me blown away, and are something I think you should do on your Disney trip. There are other attractions like the “Expedition Everest” roller coaster and “Dinosaur” ride, both are thrilling, but not intense. Overall, a great park and experience for first-time vacationists, and previous visitors!

Great for kids! Most rides are for kids 40 inches or taller, there are a few rides where children need to be at least 44 inches tall. I would plan to be there about 6 hours. Pandora gets busy quickly, so maybe wait till the afternoon for the crowd to disperse. Parking was about a 10 min walk to the entrance. I highly reccomend for families.

Animal Kingdom was nice but having to walk there from the car was terrible. Include that with walking throughout the park made me irritable. The best part was no long line for drinks. It was a hot day and stopping to purchase something was refreshing unlike Magic Kingdom. Managed to see three shows or rides without long waits..love the fans throughout the waiting lines. Plenty of employees to remind you to keep mask on and social distancing. I found the employees here were friendlier than Disney.

I think this has won out from the other parks as the family favorite. Its conservation-minded, educational, fun, and best of all, it has much more shade to stand in than any of the other parks. Also, in each land theres at least one ride that the whole family enjoys and I cant say that for the other parks (for now...looking at you Epcot). This parks food options are also pretty yummy and I think only Epcot beats it with variety and flavor. The world tree is something of an experience too. It gives different experiences from when you first enter to when you get up close and personal. Definitely worth a visit (or several).

There’s a pandemic going on and their lines are still two hours long, particularly for the Avatar attractions. Make sure to put your walking shoes on! It’s a great experience to see and try out if you haven’t before. I actually do like the rides more at this park compared to others because they feel like they have more adult options. It was really easy to get into the park with your passes ready and we got lucky with parking.

That’s my first time coming Animal Kingdom. Compared to other parks, most of time here makes me feel more like a zoo and a childrens park. But pandora really impressed me, and the flight experience of VR really makes people want to play again and again.Maybe due to COVID-19, the shuttle bus frequency has decreased and the time has become very long. If you use the shuttle bus to the park, you may have to prepare more commuting time. But at the same time, there are fewer people in the park, and the fastpass has been cancelled, so the waiting time in line is much less than originally expected. In principle, the line time for all facilities will not be more than one hour.

This rating might not be fair because we went during the pandemic so we didnt get the whole experience. Essentially, it was like visiting a small zoo with some rides. No shows were going and the Everest ride was broke down the entire day. We werent extremely impressed with this park and although we were happy to get to see it, I doubt wed ever go back to this particular park. We stood in line for over 3 hours for the Pandora ride and we werent disappointed. I dont think Id wait that long if there were any other big rides available, but it was definitely a fun ride.

Disneys Animal Kingdom is a zoological theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando. Owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products division, it is the largest theme park in the world, covering 580 acres (230 ha).The park opened on Earth Day, April 22, 1998, and was the fourth theme park built at the resort. The park is dedicated and themed entirely around the natural environment and animal conservation, a philosophy once pioneered by Walt Disney himself.Disneys Animal Kingdom is distinguished from the rest of Walt Disney Worlds theme parks in that it features traditional attractions while also exhibiting hundreds of species of live animals. Due to these sensitive conditions, special designs and provisions were incorporated throughout the park to protect the animals welfare. The park is located on the western edge of the resort, and is isolated from the resorts other theme parks and properties to minimize external disruptions to the animals; as a result, the parks nighttime show also features no fireworks that would otherwise disturb the animals. The park also uses biodegradable paper straws and prohibits plastic straws, lids, and balloons. Disneys Animal Kingdom is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums, which indicates they have met or exceeded the standards in education, conservation, and research. In 2019, Disneys Animal Kingdom hosted 13.888 million guests, ranking it as the third-most-visited theme park in North America and the sixth-most-visited theme park in the world. The parks icon is the Tree of Life, a 145-foot-tall (44 m), 50-foot-wide (15 m) artificial baobab tree. The park is the second-most-visited at Walt Disney World Resort, behind the Magic Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom was beautiful looking. Everything was nice for the most part, but I wish there had been more animals to see and it was a bit hard to find a lot of them. Also a lot of the restaurants required reservations, so if you didnt have one you either had to try to find a table in some shade or eat in the hot sun. The safari ride was probably my favorite ride. I wish there had been more rides. Overall pretty great experience, though.

Lets leave Covid-19 out of the picture. Ive been coming back to Orlando FL parks since I was a child.Back when you used a booklet with tickets in Magic Kingdom (if my mind dont play tricks on me).20 years ago we as the first time we came as a family (my wife and children).I believe that Disney had done some work improvements in Animal Kingdom, like the addition of Avatar.Animal Kingdom Id a park with such potential, and I believe that its potential is being underestimated. For example, disney has so many magical characters to make Animal Kingdom into a super park, yet all thats is not exploited. For example, Tarzan, a 3D ride of Tarzan jumping through the veins in the jungle trees, fighting alligators, and more. You have the Jungle Book, the Lion King, Bambi, Up, Zootopia and I believe that Im falling short.Im not saying that the Safari is not great, Im not saying that the park is not fun.Im just saying that it can be improved so much, that would improve attendance and word to mouth praising among attendants.I was sitting for about an hour on a bench with my service dog who was sitting on the ground between my legs, we both were waiting for my wife and son to come back from a ride, when a lady walked pass us, briefly stopped and said to us: this is the best thing Ive seen so far in this park (she was referring to my service dog, because my wife had purchased for her (for the dog) the previous day some Mickey ears and a red dog shirt at Epcot and my wife dressed my dog with the outfit. What the lady said, made me think. This lady is upset, because she feels that shes not getting her moneys worth.I love and admire Disney, the way Walt Disney seek and made his vision a reality and gave mankind a legacy.I believe that todays Disney should not drift away from that legacy, and continue to improve Animal Kingdom, to make it a Super Theme Park, a park that you cant finish in one day and have and want to come back the next day because is so fun and because you didnt finish it.I could easily give it Five Stars, but I wont do it, because the park can be improved so much.

Id love to give 5 stars, however the mandatory facial coverings and rudeness of staff adhering to the policy took away from the experience. The theme park itself, aside from that was DEFINITELY A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE!!! Im a real activist when it comes to animal domestication and their habitats. Animal kingdom definitely is the opposite of what I expected to see. Youll have to experience the magic yourself to understand. I was very impressed and so overjoyed with how well these animals live and are taken care of....so that gets 10 s!! I was unable to do the Pandora experience bc of the mask situation. Im very clostraphobic and with the heat, just didnt work for me. When the pandemic is over (hopefully this not being the new norm) I DEFINITELY WILL RETURN TO ENJOY THAT!!! Overall, Disney World is wonderful, and Animal Kingdom is a great hybrid theme-park zoo experiment. The opportunity to see a wide variety of animals, many in spacious environments, is a real treat, along with some (though too few) great rides.Covid update 10/2020 - the park remains very safety-minded with many precautions in place. This past July, my family and I went down to Disney World for vacation during a pandemic and it was an experience like no other. We got right on the Kilimanjaro Safari and there was no wait, at all. It stormed a little bit during our visit but we were inside eating at Rainforest Cafe so it didn’t effect us (I’ll do a separate review on some eating experiences down in Florida at a different time) There were no waits at all, I walked right onto Expedition Everest and it was such an amazing experience and then my wife and I walked onto Dinosaur, no wait and got the front car plus the whole vehicle all to ourselves. The only bad thing I would say is that Dinoland USA is really empty right now and just looks sad. Only the Triceratops Spin is running and one gift shop is back there. Overall it was an amazing experience, cast members were super friendly and kept us feeling safe all day. Oh, another thing, there was no wait at all for Flight of Passage, my wife and I walked right on and it was our favorite ride of the day. I feel like Animal Kingdom is the least Disney of all of its parks. Truly it just kinds of lacks that Disney Magic, for me at least. However, it is a really nice park to visit, especially if youve never been.Be aware that this park usually closes earlier than the other parks. Depending on how long the lines are for each attraction this is probably easily done as a half day. Youll certainly have your evening free to do something else in the area (such as Icon Park).Even with a drastically reduced Covid-19 park crowd, the lines were pretty long for most things. We did not wait for the River Journey due to the more than hour wait and lack of any Fast Pass options right now.The Safari Tour was really a nice experience. Yes, Animal Kingdom is a glorified zoo, but it really doesnt feel like it. The safari tour is set up to feel like a miniaturized visit to Africa. Be prepared for a bumpy ride in the Safari cars. Signs and the guides warn you of the rough terrain, and they are accurate. Small children should have very attentive parents with them. Items could easily be dropped out of the cars and you most likely wont get them returned or returned in working condition.Overall a nice day. A good shorter day if youre in the middle of a packed week and need a bit of chill.

There are few places that can bring a smile to your face, make you forget about all of the day to day stuff in your life, and fill your heart with joy like Animal Kingdom can. The park is unlike the other Disney World parks but designed with the same creative magic that youd expect from the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT. This park is focused on the beauty of our world, the animals, and wonders of nature, with their Tree of Life at its center.Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the wonder and splendor of Asia, Africa, prehistoric Earth, and even the fantasy world of Pandora from the movie Avatar. Each is a unique experience and both visually stimulating and emotionally awe-inspiring. This is not just a zoo! This is not just a park for the amusement of children. This is much more. What you will find at Animal Kingdom, as an adult, is beauty, happiness, joy and wonder like you are a child again. If you are a child, you will build an early life memory that you will always look back upon and fondly remember.

This park is very beautiful, the best attraction is avatar, but I dont recommend you go in and see rafiky, dont waste your time, its good boring, some things already need urgent remodeling, they are old attractions.

This park has a different vibe than the others, it doesnt feel like the artificial touristy attraction. It is very enjoyable and great for kids. The Everest and the Pandora rides are amazing, and the Safari and Rapids are fun too.

Excellent covid precautions but even at 35% capacity it still felt a little crowded. Plenty of hand sanitizer and hand washing stations and plexiglass in high crowded areas in place. As with the other parks a little is missing during this pandemic as there is no character photos, light show in Asia., etc.. but it was still enjoyable. Expect long wait times. No fast pass. Pandoras Flight of passage is a must. Even with a wait time of 75 min it never quite feels that long. The attention to details to all sections of the park is truly amazing. The safari is really enjoyable and always different things to see. Everest is always fun, safe for a 6 yr old but still thrilling for adults. Pass on the quick service food, not great.

Animal Kingdom is our daughters favorite of the parks. She just really enjoys to see all the animals. The safari ride is bar none the best ride in the park for kids. The best plan of action for the Animal Kingdom is to come early. You start off the day early you get and you see all the animals you go on the safari ride you walk around all day to the different exhibits. It’s a really great experience.Around noon time we go grab some lunch and we leave the park and go back to our hotel or resort and eat there. Escaping the midday heat this way.We take a little nap and then go back later that evening for Pandora. Now this is the adult side of the park and it is fantastic. Easily the best ride in the entire park is flight of the Banshee. Good news if you have kids you can do child swap meaning one person has a wait in the longer line and then jump to the fast pass line come out and swap with whoever watched the kid to come back in the fast pass line and go back into the ride essentially shortening your time that you’d have to wait for two individual people to go through. This is the plan that works great for us as we are there over the course of a few days at least and so are not stressed to fit everything into one day.

Definitely the best of the 3 parks, but just like the other 3 parks; they are over crowded, with hardly any food restaurants open and asinine covid rules. There is no way to stay 6 ft. Apart with the crowd sizes! And the lag of tables and food, guest have become rude and will grab tables before they order leave guest with food trays no were to sit! This is the most unorganized, toxic environment for guest! Second diney has covid double standard. Cast and princesses can go with out face covers but dont you dare be caught with out one unless you are standing eating or drinking or they will throw you out. The threat is also repeated every 10 to 15 minutes. I have been to Disney multiple times in my life and it was do most magical place each time except for this time. This last time it was completely unenjoyable! Beautiful park but I would pass until Covid has past. Right now there is too much chaos to enjoy for the price!

Great park ! Great attractions ! I do miss the boat ride that operated back when the park opened though. Kilamanjaro Safari is our favorite attraction there. The atmosphere at the park is great and you will enjoy your day there very much.

Animal Kingdom is great!!! I gave it 4 stars because there were quite a few people there not wearing masks or social distancing. And while I know Disney cannot be every where policing they may need to step up on their monitoring of those situations and follow through on escorting the people out who are not following the rules. There is no excuse Disney has signage everywhere and constant announcements.

Right now the lines are little to none. We rode Flight of Passage 3 times in a row with no wait. Disney is doing a great job enforcing the safety precautions. This refreshing cocktail was yummy too!

First trip to Disney and enjoyed every minute. Not too many people, short wait times for all rides, and still a few cast members walking around.

What a wonderful place to visit! My daughter, nieces and nephews absolutely loved it! There is so much to do and it’s so hard to believe this place is man made. The architecture, engineering, design, and creativity of this park is beyond description. I cannot wait to visit and explore this park again. We had an absolute blast and enjoyed the cuisine as well. So much culture and happiness in one place!

Do not go. They are not enforcing the mask policy. A couple in front of us in a ride did not wear their masks, were reminded three times and still did not. They were reported at the end of the ride and still nothing happened. They were not asked to leave. Nothing was said or done.

My family and I visited Disneys Animal Kingdom Theme Park at the end of July! All of the safety precautions were in place for the new social distancing guidelines in Disney World. Before entering Disneys Animal Kingdom, you have to get your temperature check. Theres 6 ft social distancing guidelines throughout the park, park rides, dining, and even entering the park. You have to make a reservation as well before entering the theme park. Right now, Disney World has reduced capacity through-out the park. Due to this, wait times for rides were less than 20 minutes. There was only one active show, Bird in flight, which we saw.We saw a magnificent huge tree that was beautiful and we saw birds flying throughout the park. There are a lot of animals here such as the macaws, tigers, alligators, turtles, monkeys, hippopotamus and much more! Also, a lot of family fun activities to do. There was Its a bug life 3D show, where we saw puppets and 3D interactive show. One of my daughters favorite activity was the Wild Life Explorer. There are plenty of rides to ride on at Animal KingdomOur rides ranked from most awesome to leastExpedition EverestDinosaurAvatars Flight of PassageAvatars boat rideKali RapidsThe SafariWildlife ExpressDinosaur Triceratops rideWe were able to get pretty much almost all of the rides in on the first day. We ended up coming back to Animal Kingdom a second day because we had to to Avatars ride, finish the Wild Life Explorer badges, and ride Everest a few more times! This was by far one of the best park experiences weve had. We were able to take our time through-out the park and not rush around. We saw all of the beautiful nature that is a part of Animal Kingdom!
