Lovely place for PoGo and walks. Nostalgic but tbh a pretty basic park.

Really nice and CLEAN place to take the Tribe with a really nice playground and equipment that actually functions (* side note and #publicserviceannouncement I know #imnewhere but #northmpls we and I will say WE because I CHOOSE to call the north side my community; WE HAVE GOT TO #DOBETTER AS A WHOLE! The #northside can be so much more! *end side note) It has tones of open grass areas for you to sit and relax, do yoga and meditate or read while watching the kids play and TONES of benches and picnic tables! The last time we stopped here the library was having a pop-up Park so they had games set up in the field as well as book handouts and gift bags that were filled with fun little toys my sons favorite was the rocket launchers there is also hula hoops and sidewalk chalk I know that was a special event at the park but we appreciated it during the covid-19 season

With two playgrounds, a zip line, a pool, a baseball diamond, two soccer fields, two tennis courts, and free ice skating with popcorn and hot chocolate in the warming house, Windom park is the pride and joy of NE Minneapolis!

Great for walks, large open space

Great play structure. Slides, swings, zip line, teeter totter, and merry go round were fun and in great condition. The park also has a wading pool that my kids loved and was really clean. There is also a park building, ball field, and basketball court. I gave the park 4 stars as there is no parking lot and both cross streets are pretty busy.

This is a favorite park of ours; awesome big kid playground for our seven Year old along with a great toddler playground for our 14 month old. It is nicely shaded and has a wading pool in the summer months. We love that is close to some of our favorite establishments as well-- Que Viet Vietnamese restaurant and the Coffee Shop Northeast!

Nice place to play

It is decent, better than it used to be.

Windom park is a place where I would go at lunch time and practice my Toastmaster speeches before I would perform the that night. I would always see kids from the nearby school coming to the park with their teachers. I had the windows down in my car as people would pass by on the sidewalk and heard what was me trying to refine and memorize my speech. Windom has a lot open space, softball fields, swings for the kids, basketball and Tennis courts. There is even a kiddie pool that is open in the summer. Come check it out at the corner of Lowery Ave and Johnson Street!

Area could use some more street lights at night, but overall a nice park. We are at a nearby restaurant, then came to the park to sit and talk after. I think the park lights went off around 9:30, but even when they were in it wasnt very well lit.

Amazing park and staff. We love donating to the PTA every year. Outside of that, who can give a free park fewer than five stars?!

Always a great place for kids to have fun and play. Plus is they have the big kids playground separated from the smaller kids.

Great shady areas. Multiple areas to relax. Good park for the kids. They have small play area for smaller kids that is slightly removed from the nice play area for bigger kids. Both are very dirty as the grounds are covered in small (sometimes very sharp) wood chips. There is a pretty mild sledding hill for young kids. The tennis courts and nets are not well kept in the warm months.

My kids love this place the kitty pool is awesome there are two wonderful Parks here one for toddlers and one for big kids.
