Its a beautiful rest area next to the Mississippi River & Hennepin Avenue Bridge in Downtown Minneapolis. It features many seating areas, greenery, and one of the many fountains in Minneapolis. The fountain is pretty, especially at night when its lit up with color changing lights.
Just a wonderful place to have my coffee, a treat from Whole Foods and try to get in the direction of the cooling spray on a steamy day in summer. If youre a canine lover, there are always a few doggos out for their walk. Some will even visit if asked politely (of their owners). Great spot!
Beautiful and strong. I pray for it to always be the strongest in end times. And all the others too.
I often head here to walk my dog. Great walking, a little removed from the city.
Great spot to catch a breather and enjoy some music on our bike tour of downtown Minneapolis.
Go stand in the fountain, its not condoned but I didnt get in trouble...
Nice little shot to chill, especially at night when the fountain is lit up.
Beautiful! Great place for a walk.
Great parking and great views
Beautiful area to visit. :)

Just passing through to see the fireworks on the 4th of July
Nice place
Very nice park
Historic district of Minneapolis. I wish that there was more evidence of what used to be at this location. For instance the first Minneapolis City Hall used to be at the junction of Hennepin and Nicollet. About all that remains of the old park is the George Washington Memorial flagpole given by the DAR. Everything else about the area has been swept under the carpet and ignored when this area was completely razed in the the early 1960s under the guise of urban renewal.
Spacious place to sit, eat lunch and enjoy the sun
Mow the weeds and fix the broken for 3 years fountain! The place is nothing but a bum dice game now.
