We still are not eating in restaurants because of we picked up Fried Chicken from bushes, our favorite fried chicken restaurant, and took our meals to San Gabriel Park. It was wonderful! The squirrels were running around playing, we had a table under a gazebo in the shade. And a nice breeze was blowing from the north. It was a great change of scene!

Cute park! Went there with a friend in the early evening to enjoy a light dinner. I like the amount of benches they had around as we were able to sit in a more secluded and shaded spot but still people watch. There were quite a few families there with kids and the play scape looked really fun! I also appreciate the fact that they have bathrooms on site with plenty of soap and paper towels available.

This is a really fun park to take the kids to. There 3 different playground areas and a swing area that are a lot of fun for the kids. We usually start at the beginning of the trail and enjoy each play area along the way. A wonderful place to take the kids for a shady summer day out!

Tranquil. Riverfront. Grassy lawns. Tall trees. Hike and bike trails. Fishing. Volleyball. Restrooms. Birds. Turtles. Pavilions. Playscape. Easy parking. River west end is a bit grungy, not suitable for swimming. The east side is cleaner and has more to offer.

This is such a nice park! It runs along the river and it has ducks!!! These guys are used to folks feeding them so bring some fruit to share with them. The river is nice and clean and the park itself is clean and orderly. Lots of benches to sit and tons of trees with abundant shade. Bathrooms are also there and all of the items on there work so definitely a good place to visit and wind down.

San Gabriel Park has a draw with its green grassy lawns giving way to peaceful and alluring attraction to it. The river flows with a voice of tranquility bringing back to more simpler times. One can sit close to the river or at a covered table and watch the ducks as they make their way to the next treat, or view the kayaks being guided through a slight current.San Gabriel River and Park is well kept offers picnic tables and benches, playscapes, parking, No charge to enjoy a relaxing moment. Families enjoy family outings.Thank you Georgetown

Great park to play, walk or relaxed. I like to check out the insects and flowers in the sunken garden (just in front of the Community Center). There is plenty of parks for the kids to play and grass to run around on and play lawn games. Pavilions that you can hire for birthday parties etc.A gravel track for running. The San Gabriel river runs through the park so there is fishing and ducks to feed (no bread) Its an all round great place to visit.

Great park with several playgrounds, volley ball areas and also frisbee golf. Trails along the water make it a cool place to begin walking part of the miles of trails connecting to the park. Plenty of bathroom areas near the playgrounds and also places to picnic or have a party. There is a sunken garden in the park and also a seafood restaurant near the entrance. Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed. Safe area to being the kids. There are play areas for smaller kids as well as older ones. Highly recommend.

A true gem of Georgetown. I love kayaking up stream in the summer, or exploring farther down the river on foot. The trails that run parallel are a wonderful opportunity for a walk, or a hike closer to the restrooms. The new renovated park facilities on the far bank and also wonderful. Its not as fancy as parks you may find in Round Rock, especially in terms of playgrounds for kids. It is however fairly big and usually isnt very crowded and allows for you to have your own little peaceful spot down by the water. Theres also a decent amount of tables and can be a nice spot to eat lunch outside on the rare occasion that the weather is actually nice enough.
