It use to have BBG grils but no more. Only 1 picnic bench, walk bridge but not into the water. Everyone doesnt have a boat. We would crab and fish when family came from out of town. Now its sending me out to Charleston or Surfside Beach
I had gone here to see the solar eclipse August 21st, 2017, and really enjoyed myself! Especially being able to park in the shade under a tree! I really wished they had a better exit strategy, because it took hours to leave the place but overall it was a pleasant experience! There was a nice little beach that had a huge Pavilion as well as a good-sized elevated observation deck set in a bit revealing a beautiful view of the water!
Yes very cool place to pull up to by boat. Watch the tides dont get stuck.
This is one of my favorite spots!!!! Almost always quiet, just a lovely little white sand beach. Not a recommended swimming hole due to the possibility of alligators, but a great place none the less. I enjoy up quartz rocks, and fishing a bit there as well.
Beautiful place to look at the water..and reflect. Very peaceful.
The park closed since the COVID 19 start. Over 6 months!!! Every beaches and parks are open long time ago, just the Morgan park closed! Whats wrong with the park?!
Beautiful public PARk with boat ramps, ball field, tennis courts as well as playground and picnic areas.
Very clean park. Easy access
Very nice place to visit. Pretty
Good place
Why the park closed ??? Everything else is open!
Very nice place by the water.even has a area for lunch or small picnic
What a little gem right near East Bay ParkClemson monitors water and air quality from this spotPicnic tables port a potty handicapped accessible to overlooking the Intracoastal waterwayBeware of the seriously strong water currentsThis is not a beach but access to some dangerous waters where rivers converge
Today, sadly, we were run off by mayflies. Swimming isnt allowed, but there is a great picnic area by the beach, an observation deck overlooking the water, good fishing and crabbing on the beach. Dont let dogs run without a leash, as it is possible to see a snake or alligator at the beach. Tides and hurricanes have changed the park over yhe years, but it is still an enjoyable place to spend time with family and pets.
Saw a giant gator in the bay it was really cool
Is a delightful park right on the water.
Very scenic walk through the marsh to a island with a beach. Sadly there is a new no swimming rule due to gators but very nice views of the Sampit River
Small green space next to a park with a a walking path. Theres not too much walking or trail at Morgan Park specifically. While I was walking I was harassed about buying a poster of my dog.
Pretty cool spot
Great place to take your dogs to swim. It could serve as a very good dog park for residents.
The miniature Florida, penninsula into the harbor/bay. Fields and facilities have and are still being refurbished! Enjoy a mornernoonhike on the waters edge, or relax n cast out a line !
Really pretty area! Just get out before dark.
Beautiful this time of year, isolated and peaceful.
